I didn't even know bass boosting headphones and earphones even existed until my brother told me he wanted beats by dr dre and then I went to Walmart and tested them out and they really do boost the bass! I'm impressed.

Im not a big fan of beats headphones by dre, especially after my first two pairs snapped. but i highly suggest you buy them specifically for what they are for. A 12 year old wouldnt need the beats mixers..

I came on here cause its people like this guy here keeping the hype up about crappy crap that is false and misguiding, which helps keep suckers buying garbage. If you hear it enough and people say it over and over consumers believe lies about how great something crappy is. I have cheap headphones and some expensive ones as well but better build quality, sound quality, and price point that are by in large crushing every beatz made. Drink the kool aid if you want im not going to. And yes even Bass ive tried giving beatz shot after shot and they still SUCK. Collin Prien Actually sound is subjective so yeah i used these headphones for around a week and i did not care for the sound i like sound equipment that accurately reproduce sound somthing these fail to do in my opinion as well as other audiophiles HOWEVER, again sound is subjective and i can understand why someone would like these headphones their build quality is ok and their bass is quite loud and clear i feel like its sloppy but their is little distortion.

Tracer So far, they're great. Sound quality is excellent. The cable is the main problem. That control-talk breaks so easily it's absurd. Other than that, the build quality is great. I wear mine every single day and treat them pretty harshly, yet they're still holding up fine, although I'm noticing the headband leather is starting to detach, but that's an easy fix with glue.
I've been a Dj for going on 8 years now , and Djs famous , or amature do not use sennheisers or audio techna they use beats , the noise canceling is the best and the bass is what's needed for beat matching I almost never in my life seen a Dj wear audio technica or sennheisers if anything they would use Sony , pioneer or numark headphones if not beats , Beats are a Dj headphone as well as for hip hop of you like rock buy other things but for people that listen to hip hop you can't argue with them because bass is what drives the music and beats lead in that of course you can hear voices highs mid Ect but people who listen to hip hop rnb Ect want bass that beats provide beats just aren't aimed towards rock because hip hop is the best trending music in this century that's it people wake up and stop complaining.

im a owner of the mixrs and i completely understand your points of view for my first 3 months of use my ears hurt like hell. but it began to go away now i dont really feel it anymore. it takes time to get use to. granted after a very long time of wear my ears might hurt. but it just takes time. thanks for the video it was great you always have the best opinions and the best way of expressing them.

hd700's are better in what term? quality sure but audio is subjective. All big lineups have usually bad products to appeal to the masses and wouldnt be too surprised about the sennheisers momentums but i havent listened to them. There is a difference between disliking a product and disliking a lineup of products or company. Bose and Beats make shoddy quality headphones (whether it be build quality or sound quality) and sennheiser has a range of headphones for different uses. (momentums not part of the audiophile category)
I used to ignore Beats, but after Apple purchased Beats, not to mention a lot of people at my gym depend on them, I could no longer ignore Beats, so here I am, with a pair of Beats Studio Wireless, which is actually Beats Studio with Bluetooth compatibility. I could've gotten the Solo2 Wireless, but the Beats Studio Wireless should suffice. For 2015, the Beats Studio is available in Classic and Wireless. Same with the Beats Solo2, it's also available in Classic and Wireless. I chose Beats Solo2 Wireless and Beats Studio Wireless because it allows you to have the flexibility to enjoy wired listening when you're at airplanes, and wireless when you want it.

I've heard the old ones and they definitely were awful but the current beats line is definitely worth the price. Though personally I'd save 50-200$ and grab sennheiser 4XXs so I could have money left-over for more music. xD
depends on which you get the new studios are amazing for beats but if your a audiophile just stick to Bose and Sennhesier but beats are great for there thumping bass and amazing looks
Beats aren't THAT bad in terms of audio quality if you consider the target audience. They're bass and treble heavy, perfect for any kind of electronic music, rap and hip hop. However, my problem with them is the price: for less than half you can get a pair that has the same punchy bass and (not all that) crisp treble.
the price is a very big let down of the beats line but i have not seen any other headphone line look as good as beats i love my studios but the price was the only bad part about them

I have Sennheiser IE8i, Pioneer HD2000 and Beats Studio Wireless. Each of them has a 250-300$ price tag and I love all of them. Sennheisers for listening to complex music and enjoying every detail of it, the Pioneers for DJing and the Beats for running and being fashy. All are awesome in their own way...

You've got a great channel. Very helpful. You definitely helped me buy the BTBX Portable a couple of years ago. Despite the ridiculous amount of batteries it needs for without-the-cord use (which I've never attempted) and how the bluetooth disconnects every now and then, it works with my phone just fine every time I re-establish the connection. Overall, it's a big hit at all of my get-togethers.
After owning 3 pairs of beats in the past and now I agree with this list. I do NOT have knowledge of other type of headphones out there so don't say I'm stupid cause I stick to overpriced brand oh well. I've had the solo HDs the original ones they were OK but i broke them.. This happened around the time the second solo HDs came out they sounded great but.. The cushion was too small for my ears they could become unbearable after a while so I gave them away to my mom. My fiance recently got me the new studios and I must say they sound great I wear them at work at the gym and they not only sound great but are very comfortable I've worn them for hours and don't get annoying. MY ONLY COMPLAINT is that there is very MINOR unbalance between the speakers the right one is slightly louder and bass hits harder but its very slight some might not even notice. I personally love them great review on this list! Please don't come at me saying I'm stupid for paying 300 for headphones when there are better ones out there for a better price. I can afford these so I don't mind but please do write some names down and if I'm ever in the market for new headphones I'll definitely take a different route. Thanks.

I think that the Mixr headphones are fine for DJs. In a DJ environment, you are constantly taking your headphones on and off, so the long term comfort of the Mixrs is fine for the intended use.
I got free beats solo 2 wireless when I bought my new Mac for school. (The sale is still on until September 5, 2016 at least in the US)I never really like over ear headphones and I've been content with the apple earbuds that came with my iPhone. I personally wouldn't pay $300 for headphones (I'm content with Walmart headphones) since I've had these headphones since yesterday I'm very happy with them, I don't think they are worth $300 but considering they came free with my laptop means they are AMAZING they kinda hurt my ears after a while but the sound quality is awesome, the rose gold is really pretty (closer to gold tho tbh) I love that they are wireless and the Bluetooth connectivity is very impressive. So that's my 19 year old girl who listens to country music opinion.

Isnt it amazing what BS marketing can do. We recently had a consumer advice TV show called "checkout" do a review on beats headphones......conclusion ...over priced rubbish. By the way that is a government funded channel so completely unbiased.
For the record, if you stretch the headband out on the Mixrs (you can use the box long-ways), it fixes the fit and they feel fine. I think they should be in 1st if you're okay with the fit. They just plain sound better than anything else on the lineup. By a LONG shot.

They have a built in bass boost, in addition to amazing sounding lows, making them the best sounding headphones you can get for the deeper dB. Mids and Lows are great, but not nearly notable to the lows. & For the people who complain about having them and not liking them, do some research into the headphones you're buying for fucks sake, they're not for everyone. They're not for most of metal, rock, classic, etc. If you blindly buy headphones off name and reputation, you deserve to waste your money.

Really I haven't tried beats so I guess I'm just bashing them because I don't like doctor dre lol, I'm glad you think you know me for one I had the very first pair of beat studios when they first launched in 2008 I paid $350 for them. I still have them infact l, why are junk hmm let's start plastic cracks very easily, the little Allen screws come loose easily, one of the drivers aka speaker makes a horrible crackling sound when turned up don't see how when I barely used them, their more expensive then other brands that have way better sound quality than them ie audio technica m50x, m20x, beyerdynamic dt 880 and dt990 all of these cans I've mentioned are cheaper built with better materials and sound way better the studios don't come close to them, you can compare specs if you don't believe me or try them out for yourself and I guarantee you won't want your dre beats p.o.s any more I can promise you that so next time don't act like you know me and make assumptions about what I have and don't have and that I'm hating because I'm not, I make really good money and have a lot of toys I have rig that will put any dre p.o.s cans to shame like a woo audio tube amp made for headphones and the beyerdynamic t1's the headphones alone cost over grand please don't get me started.

Drink the kool aid if you want im not going to. And yes even Bass ive tried giving beatz shot after shot and they still SUCK. Collin Prien Actually sound is subjective so yeah i used these headphones for around a week and i did not care for the sound i like sound equipment that accurately reproduce sound somthing these fail to do in my opinion as well as other audiophiles HOWEVER, again sound is subjective and i can understand why someone would like these headphones their build quality is ok and their bass is quite loud and clear i feel like its sloppy but their is little distortion.

Tracer So far, they're great. Sound quality is excellent. The cable is the main problem. That control-talk breaks so easily it's absurd. Other than that, the build quality is great. I wear mine every single day and treat them pretty harshly, yet they're still holding up fine, although I'm noticing the headband leather is starting to detach, but that's an easy fix with glue.

I've been a Dj for going on 8 years now , and Djs famous , or amature do not use sennheisers or audio techna they use beats , the noise canceling is the best and the bass is what's needed for beat matching I almost never in my life seen a Dj wear audio technica or sennheisers if anything they would use Sony , pioneer or numark headphones if not beats , Beats are a Dj headphone as well as for hip hop of you like rock buy other things but for people that listen to hip hop you can't argue with them because bass is what drives the music and beats lead in that of course you can hear voices highs mid Ect but people who listen to hip hop rnb Ect want bass that beats provide beats just aren't aimed towards rock because hip hop is the best trending music in this century that's it people wake up and stop complaining.

hd700's are better in what term? quality sure but audio is subjective. All big lineups have usually bad products to appeal to the masses and wouldnt be too surprised about the sennheisers momentums but i havent listened to them. There is a difference between disliking a product and disliking a lineup of products or company. Bose and Beats make shoddy quality headphones (whether it be build quality or sound quality) and sennheiser has a range of headphones for different uses. (momentums not part of the audiophile category)

I used to ignore Beats, but after Apple purchased Beats, not to mention a lot of people at my gym depend on them, I could no longer ignore Beats, so here I am, with a pair of Beats Studio Wireless, which is actually Beats Studio with Bluetooth compatibility. I could've gotten the Solo2 Wireless, but the Beats Studio Wireless should suffice. For 2015, the Beats Studio is available in Classic and Wireless. Same with the Beats Solo2, it's also available in Classic and Wireless. I chose Beats Solo2 Wireless and Beats Studio Wireless because it allows you to have the flexibility to enjoy wired listening when you're at airplanes, and wireless when you want it.

Because the old beats were notorious for sounding like shit and people are too anal to give them a chance at redemption. I've heard the old ones and they definitely were awful but the current beats line is definitely worth the price. Though personally I'd save 50-200$ and grab sennheiser 4XXs so I could have money left-over for more music. xD

Beats aren't THAT bad in terms of audio quality if you consider the target audience. They're bass and treble heavy, perfect for any kind of electronic music, rap and hip hop. However, my problem with them is the price: for less than half you can get a pair that has the same punchy bass and (not all that) crisp treble.
the price is a very big let down of the beats line but i have not seen any other headphone line look as good as beats i love my studios but the price was the only bad part about them

I have Sennheiser IE8i, Pioneer HD2000 and Beats Studio Wireless. Each of them has a 250-300$ price tag and I love all of them. Sennheisers for listening to complex music and enjoying every detail of it, the Pioneers for DJing and the Beats for running and being fashy. All are awesome in their own way...

You've got a great channel. Very helpful. You definitely helped me buy the BTBX Portable a couple of years ago. Despite the ridiculous amount of batteries it needs for without-the-cord use (which I've never attempted) and how the bluetooth disconnects every now and then, it works with my phone just fine every time I re-establish the connection. Overall, it's a big hit at all of my get-togethers.

After owning 3 pairs of beats in the past and now I agree with this list. I do NOT have knowledge of other type of headphones out there so don't say I'm stupid cause I stick to overpriced brand oh well. I've had the solo HDs the original ones they were OK but i broke them.. This happened around the time the second solo HDs came out they sounded great but.. The cushion was too small for my ears they could become unbearable after a while so I gave them away to my mom. My fiance recently got me the new studios and I must say they sound great I wear them at work at the gym and they not only sound great but are very comfortable I've worn them for hours and don't get annoying. MY ONLY COMPLAINT is that there is very MINOR unbalance between the speakers the right one is slightly louder and bass hits harder but its very slight some might not even notice. I personally love them great review on this list! Please don't come at me saying I'm stupid for paying 300 for headphones when there are better ones out there for a better price. I can afford these so I don't mind but please do write some names down and if I'm ever in the market for new headphones I'll definitely take a different route. Thanks.

I think that the Mixr headphones are fine for DJs. In a DJ environment, you are constantly taking your headphones on and off, so the long term comfort of the Mixrs is fine for the intended use.
Studios are the best. I'll wait until black Friday and get the wireless version of that.
I got free beats solo 2 wireless when I bought my new Mac for school. (The sale is still on until September 5, 2016 at least in the US)I never really like over ear headphones and I've been content with the apple earbuds that came with my iPhone. I personally wouldn't pay $300 for headphones (I'm content with Walmart headphones) since I've had these headphones since yesterday I'm very happy with them, I don't think they are worth $300 but considering they came free with my laptop means they are AMAZING they kinda hurt my ears after a while but the sound quality is awesome, the rose gold is really pretty (closer to gold tho tbh) I love that they are wireless and the Bluetooth connectivity is very impressive. So that's my 19 year old girl who listens to country music opinion.

For the record, if you stretch the headband out on the Mixrs (you can use the box long-ways), it fixes the fit and they feel fine. I think they should be in 1st if you're okay with the fit. They just plain sound better than anything else on the lineup. By a LONG shot.

They have a built in bass boost, in addition to amazing sounding lows, making them the best sounding headphones you can get for the deeper dB. Mids and Lows are great, but not nearly notable to the lows.
& For the people who complain about having them and not liking them, do some research into the headphones you're buying for fucks sake, they're not for everyone. They're not for most of metal, rock, classic, etc. If you blindly buy headphones off name and reputation, you deserve to waste your money.

Really I haven't tried beats so I guess I'm just bashing them because I don't like doctor dre lol, I'm glad you think you know me for one I had the very first pair of beat studios when they first launched in 2008 I paid $350 for them. I still have them infact l, why are junk hmm let's start plastic cracks very easily, the little Allen screws come loose easily, one of the drivers aka speaker makes a horrible crackling sound when turned up don't see how when I barely used them, their more expensive then other brands that have way better sound quality than them ie audio technica m50x, m20x, beyerdynamic dt 880 and dt990 all of these cans I've mentioned are cheaper built with better materials and sound way better the studios don't come close to them, you can compare specs if you don't believe me or try them out for yourself and I guarantee you won't want your dre beats p.o.s any more I can promise you that so next time don't act like you know me and make assumptions about what I have and don't have and that I'm hating because I'm not, I make really good money and have a lot of toys I have rig that will put any dre p.o.s cans to shame like a woo audio tube amp made for headphones and the beyerdynamic t1's the headphones alone cost over grand please don't get me started.
