I want early style 2000s style incandescent headlights. The softer light is easier to see and they don't have a line in the ground where they just stop. It diffuses out more smoothly. I loved driving my old '04 Sentra spec v at night, but I hardly drive my Q60 at night. I'm out running the modern lights at anything over 25mph. I basically never used my high beams in the Sentra, but in my Q60 I only turn the high beams off when there are other cars around. I kind of wish I could put something like the Sentra's headlights on the Q60. That would require a lot of body work though. And I may go with something a little bit thinner, like the non projectors from the R32 or R33 if I were to actually go though with that. Or just go wild and put 6th gen Celica lights on it. That could be interesting. Someone needs to put 6th gen Celica lights on a first gen GT86/FRS/BRZ.

The dimmer incandescent low beams were better because they could be aimed properly without blinding other drivers. High beams should be as bright as possible. There are quite a few brake upgrades that cost less than $300 dollars. Things such as performance oriented pads, slotted rotors, or stainless steel brake lines all would have been good additions to this list. They don’t make a car any faster in a straight line, but they are great for spirited driving. Plus a nice set of slotted and/or drilled rotors can look excellent.

@4:25 segment on Lug nuts. The most important reason for getting aftermarket lug nuts for aftermarket wheels is - SAFETY. Your OEM lug nuts will *not* seat completely against the whole in the wheel. Aftermarket wheel wholes are shaped different at the bottom. If you put an OEM lug nut in that wheel, you better pray it doesn't fly off when you're doing donuts in a back lot.

Although bushings won't make the car faster at the pedal but you will be able to go little faster around the turns because of better handling the more you replace the better it will handle. I noticed the difference when I replaced all my front lower control arms and tie rod ends right away going to to the rear ones. I pickup some Bc new coilovers first (got them for pocket change couldn't pass them up) but decided to do bushings first then reward myself with the coliovers. I pulled the dad move on myself.

Another thing on Lug Nuts. Not sure if this is common or not, but when I got my fancy new wheels for my first daily I ended up selling the stock wheels and lugs. Fast forward and I’m driving through nebraska and I pop a tire and go to put the spare on and the lugs don’t work with the spare. Now I always keep one set of OEM lugs in the car at all times just in case I need to use the spare.

@@mamiphconcepts Every tuner does e tunes different brother. I know with Freektune, the off the shelf is a one time purchase, you get a base map and do logs from that, he then tunes off those logs, you do a couple more runs just so he sees what the reflash does and if he's happy, that's it. But with his full tune, you keep logging as many times as necessary until he's good with everything. I think he does do reflashes as you add mods, but I'm pretty sure it costs a bit every time. You'd just have to go on forums or FB pages to see who people are saying is your go to tuners and see what they offer brother
