How to create Dataverse Table Schema for Model-Driven Power Apps?

- Welcome to the Power Apps Model-Driven Apps Step by Step series for the beginner. You are watching the fourth episode of this series and during this session, we will learn how we can create Dataverse Table Schema for our Model-Driven Power Apps? In our earlier session, we have discussed how the dataverse table schema will look like. Now, in this session, we will build this schema. With this, I will cover some basic concepts used in Dataverse terminology like - Calculate columns, Business Rules, Look Up columns, etc. So, stay tuned till the end if you are building a Dataverse table for the first time!!
First, we will create a solution in our environment. Then we need to start building our Designation and Employee Onboarding table. After that, we will use the concept of the Look Up column and Calculated column with the Dataverse table.
So, let’s get started and plan our model-driven Power Apps development Process.

Great series! How do you determine when it's better to use a lookup table or a choices column?
If you think, your data will keep adding in future, so use Lookup table, so you only need to add data in lookup table instead of updating Choice field (which is not good). e.g. Windows Services Name to be lookup table as Service name after few months gets added newly...

Hi Dhruvin. I am a user in an organization and I'm the first person to be working on a power platform. When i am trying to create a new table in dataverse, the new table tab is greyed out. Admin also doesn't have much idea. So can you please tell me how can admin give me access to create a table? And there is a statement "One or more commands are unavailable due to your current privileges for this environment". Please can you tell me the way so I can tell the admin what needs to be done from their end. Thanks in advance

Because of there is no authorazation to make table.
How can I set the environment to make table?
Please contact your system admin., they need to add you to proper Security Role where creating table rights are given.
Sir, in the navigation panel i does not see a data option.what to do?? How to add rows to a table??
Hey meenu, I'm not even able to create new table. it shows in grey tab
I fixed it by creating a new environment and selecting role as 'Developer'.
Dhruvin, I love your videos but these videos are an overkill in terms of spending time in promoting your business: ~ 30% at the beginning and 30% at the end - leaving just about 40% of the video for leaving about your topic.
I think the % you mention are incorrect.. out of 20 mins...Total 3 minutes i used for self promotion ...I'm not doing any business!!
