    You cut it slightly too short... a second or so later he adds, "He loves you... and he needs money!"

    George was a good comedian but have to disagree with him on this, he should have realized how complex the world and humans are and that all the particles in the world could never magically come together to make everything we see around us, even Einstein knew there was a great watchmaker...

      So ... what I read is ... "I can't explain it -- so God done it !". Heard that a million times before, but not from Einstein.
      He didn't believe in magic either.

      I dare you to spend a day, walking the halls of Ronald McDonald House, or St.Jude's Hospital : then use your 'creator' to explain everything to the kids -- or their parents.

    Sadly, George really didn’t get it, did he? And he also didn’t understand the Ten Commandments, breaking them is where we loose our happiness, isn’t it? First four relationship with God next five relationship with people and last relationship with things, though in actuality they are all about our relationship with God, our Creator, aren’t they? God gave them to us not to control us but to bless us, many don’t understand that do they? George didn’t know the love relationship, did he?

    • @MomolosZtips
      @MomolosZtips Před 3 měsíci +1

      Sorry Charlie. The 1st five are what you are taught to believe by your parents. A lot depends on where you were born.
      The "next five" are all about our relationship to our family, friends, and neighbors : all of them whether near or far away. We call it mankind.

      @@MomolosZtips Right! If you get the first one right, won’t you automatically follow and obey the rest? If we truly love and trust God our Creator, we won’t try to take His place in anything we do, will we?

      @@curiousgeorge1940 Do we wish to take our own revenge, do we steal, cheat on spouses, lie, envy? There are five of the commandments. How content are we with the circumstances we are in, and that doesn’t mean we aren’t supposed to work and strive to improve those conditions? It’s just, how are we doing that? With God’s blessings and help or are we making it happen regardless? Are we serving God or money, fame, power, or something else? It’s very easy to try to take God’s place and claim victory as our own, isn’t it?

    • @baronbattles4681
      @baronbattles4681 Před 3 měsíci

      @@curiousgeorge1940 Perhaps you are not aware of “New Age”? For some people God is our Creator and Creator of every thing, for others god is within us, we are god. That God can be within us, I agree with completely, when we invite the Holy Spirit within, but god isn’t already there only needed to be recognized. God never forces Himself on anyone, He is not a rapist, but will come plant His seed in us if we ask, welcome Him in, and treasure His presence with us. And yes indeed, He can remove the Holy Spirit from those who don’t want or treasure Him. What does, “Only a remnant will be saved.” Mean?
