Great when Santa is there helping. Seems that the Citation deserves to live on.
Screw what everyone else says, and just do you. What would be cool is if you could sell those cars online, and let us by them from you. My Mom had that exact Chevy Citation, and I would actually buy it off of you just for the memories. In the end, all that matters is what you think about it all. Love your show. ❤️
Hey Randy, I love your channel! Don’t allow what people say to control what you do! Just do what you do! Don’t let it stop you from giving your cars too needy Appreciative people! I figured you must have things going on behind the scenes with monkey wrench. Mike for all he’s done! But on the surface all people see On your channel is what he’s doing for you, and not all of what you’re doing for him!
Yeah man . That’s so true what you say
You could sell car like the Citatiom Matket Place. I know blah blah about Matket Place but in places like my neck of the woods where car lots are 70 to a 100 miles away that's how we buy cheep cars some one might need it for work
Just saying.
Randy you have a heart of gold people try to take advantage of someone trying to help people out in a time of need.
That 1984 Chevrolet Citation still rocks!!!☺️👍
The hell with the haters Randy! I like this little Chevy. You brought it back from the dead! Those people don’t know what happens behind the scenes! I know you take care of Mike! If i had the money or means I’d buy that citation! Keep up the great work please!
Randy you could look into some non-profits in your area. There may even be some that help families that need A to B transportation. You can then donate the vehicles and then write them off on your taxes.
Michael proves that car guys will travel anywhere in any weather 2 do car stuff and I love it. great job Santa👍🏽.
Don't let anyone get to you. They just hating.
What you are doing is awesome and you literally seem like a genuine guy and people just seem to think of themselves. You , Monkey Wrench Mike and Santa's Workshop are great. They just trying to ruin you. I and my boys love you and theirs content. Keep doing you.
You can't worry about what people say when they're not spending the money you are. You are doing a great service to people by giving them a means of transportation that they didn't have before. Keep up the great work Randy.
Randy I loved the Citations they were fun driving fun fixing. Most of the time if you rebuild the carb they run good. If you put it back together it’s worth about 3500.00 bucks. Great Videos God Bless
Got to love that Chevy Citation. Its come a long way and now its looking pretty great now. Also you do you Randy been loving your videos for a long time! Glad you brought that Chevy back and its running will make a great car for someone and hopefully will get treated right.👍
When I was in high school, I had a 1980's chevy citation hatchback. It was great for parking with my girl friend. It had lots of room in the back once you flipped down the back seat. Your car had me thinking back to some great fun.
Wow look at all the squares and rectangles on that dash and the exterior. How far GM has come with its design concepts. Keep up the great work on the Citation.
You and your channel are both very awesome. Cant believe anyone thinks you should give anything away. Some people out there just suck. I love what you do. Keep it up. I love that car man. If i could get there id give ya 500 in a heartbeat
I always admire how honest randy is with these types of things.
I like the updates on the Citation. You should keep it and keep posting updates!
I love seeing Santa on the videos he has some good humor! I love how the paint job in the Ciration turned out!!! Love the video!
You do what's best for your business and the public.
This Citation puts a huge smile on my face. The memories I have of this car. Randy, if I didn't live all the way in Michigan, I would love to buy it, but I know there's no way I could bring it out here. Just keep it. It's has no cash value, but the memories and nostalgia is worth more than any dollar amount. You never respond to my comments, but I hope you read this. Keep it man. Hold on to it.
Randy those are your friends. I don’t see why you have to explain your relationship to people. What you are doing is called friendship. You can’t buy friends. Your friends hag around not for what you can give them, it the quality time off camera they all enjoy the best. So keep doing what y’all are doing putting out enjoyable content.
You should take the citation on the week of power tour and see how it does.
Wow, carbureted cars in the snow in the cold, man oh man the memories.
Nice! Like I've said before I had a 1981, glad to see this one featured again on the channel
I think you are doing a great job and you are very giving man unfortunately there are some very selfish people. I love your channel so please keep up the great work
You are a motivated man, keep up the great vids
I love those old citations. They were tuff. I wish I could afford it. Whoever gets it is going to get a good car. Randy, Love the content. A big hello to Santa & Mike. I love your channels too.
Hang in there Randy. Some people mean well, others just feel entitled. In the end most of us know you area kind hearted person and Monkey wrench Mike, Santa and the others wouldn’t be hangin out if they felt used and abused. Keep doing the great videos and don’t sweat what the haters say.
I love when Michael comes to wrench on cars with ya 🤘🏽🔥😊
I love these old classic. My favorite is the probe. But these were when cars we fun to work. Thank you for reviving these. I think I've said this before, but they bring me back to a less stressful time of my life.
I drove a Citation as a Winter beater for years. Went through the MN snow like a tank. Mine had the V6 and some sort of throttle body.
Good to see the both of you.☺️👍🙏
Ice over here in Indiana got us good honestly, even cancled school yesterday. Too cold too too cold, love the vid Randy!
To those who feel Randy should give you a car like the Aston Martin, here's an idea. He will give you the $24k car BUT you have to give him something of equal value. It doesn't matter what so long as the appraised value is equal to the value of the car to be given. A speed boat, an RV, a summer cottage or high-value box seats to a sporting event. So long as it has the SAME value as the car, otherwise, check your entitlement and appreciate him for his content, NOT as a one-man Salvation Army.
My grandfather bought one brand new back in the 80s. He would honked his horn in the tunnel back in the day and I always remember that. I would buy this car just for the great memories.
Glad your feeling better 👍🙏😁
just letting you know the filler panels that are missing can be found in Alabama. at replaca plastics for $79.00 each
My uncle had an 84 Citation. Was on of the first vehicles I was taught to wrench on. Great little car that could take some abuse. Brings back some memories.
The 83 and later models were the ones to buy; too bad it's earlier years were tarnished.
Thank you sir for being so honest and direct this is the thing that keep me coming back
📩📩Congratulations inbox
Glad to see the Citation again. Nice work Randy & Santa.
Randy everywhere you go anything you do you will always find a KAREN , say hi to Santa, and Monkeywrench Mike for me
I can’t believe people want you to give away a Aston martin 😂 like that would happen. Still love the channel and content Randy keep up the awesome work, i especially love the road trips you do to collect cars.
Don't pay any attention to anyone telling you what to give anyone or what you should or shouldn't give away. I truly enjoy your channel, Monkey Wrench Mike, Santa's Workshop, and all the other people in your videos. Keep doing what you do and making great content. If you are ever in Kentucky let me know, it would be awesome to meet up with you. Take care and as always keep up the amazing work!!
i love this Channel love the old car keep up the good work
I remember when I was 5 my parents friends had a light blue citation and it wouldn't start when they were going to leave our house. It wasn't even cold. I've started multiple 1980s caprices and a delta 88 in minus 20 to minus 32 without trouble.
Nothing like an old 80s chevy door buzzer good little old car👍
Im here for the content thats a gift in its own not including the knowlage you give about the cars
I love your videos, Randy they are so good and I enjoy watching you work on cars😊
I love that citation Idc what people say that car looks so good, it’s really nice having Santa around, he’s so wholesome
whatever you give there will ever be some complaint of frustrated persons so di you things and dont mind those stupid jalous. You doing a great job and deserve all you got .Your just like a friend to me.
I think you shouldn't give any way I just like watching you work on them I like seeing u get them run an fixing them up
Randy, you have to just do you man! It’s hard, but you gotta try to forget about the negative people. You know in your heart that you are a great person, and most of us can see that!! Idea for getting rid of some of the cars… start up a used car lot! I’d love to watch that and the process. Keep up the great work man!
I can't wait for another Ford Probe content. Appreciate all your hard work randy on producing videos on a consistent basis 👏
Randy, first of all I wanted to say that I appreciate your channel and the love that you have with these older cars. You mentioned how attached you are to your cars and not wanting to let them go. I have to say I felt that on a personal level.
I’ve got a 1992 Chevrolet K3500 that I’ve had for about 5 years now. I kinda fell into the deal because I wanted a truck but really haven’t had (nor do I still have) a reason to have a 1-ton truck. I just drove it the other day after it sat for almost 6 months and it still puts a smile on my face. My new “truck” that I bought last year is more economical and makes more sense, but theres something about a 30 year old truck that feels different (better?).
I’m at the point now that i’m having to make the difficult decision to send it down the road because all it does is sit. I love the old truck but it’s not fair to let it rot either. The thing is so rare because i’m the second owner of it and it only has 72,000 miles on it. Mechanically, she runs good, not perfect as you would say because it’s 30 years old. But cosmetically she needs help. The paint is original and the clear coat is all but gone. I just started to notice bare metal in a few spots. She’s got a little bit of rust as well but for s PA truck that i’m sure has not been a “garage queen” (at least since I’ve had it), I really can’t complain about it. Also it’s rare in that it has the 454 engine and a manual transmission. I hate to let it go but don’t want to see it live the rest of its life rotting away. Rather see it go to a good home and get used.
Love the channel Randy and look for ward to that is in store for your channel.
I love seeing seeing that car, my buddies parents towed their pop up camper with one back in the mid 80’s. That car never failed them until it rusted away
Keep up the good work Randy 👍. Always enjoy watching your videos. Don’t worry about what people say about the cars you give away or don’t . That is between you , Mike and Santa’s Workshop or whoever. 👍.
There will always be people who want to tell you what to do. It's a waste of time justifying your actions. You're great just as you are. I might be a liberal from California, but I appreciate you and all you do. Thank you!
I hope it can be saved , it reminds me of the Chrysler Alpine from back in the day .
Like watching your vids during my lunch breaks 👍👍👍👍👍
My first car was a 1982 Chevy Citation two door hatchback with the 2.5 Litre 4 cylinder and four speed manual. It had throttle body fuel injection. I used to drive it to high school way back in 1990-1991. This takes me back.
the haters arent around to know your life. you work on your own life. forget the bad and move on. as far as much as you have done you have helped others in need when they needed things. you have given back to society and its great. you didnt have to but you did a good thing on your own. if i could help out with stuff for ya i would. in life your lucky to have the life and friends you do. we the great viewers that are the great ones are here for ya bro.
Love the car they don’t make them like they used too. That’s why this one’s still alive. Ignore all other people that are bothering you for free cars I’d block them. Keep up the good work. I enjoy the content. Have a great day.
The citation looks very good!
Odd story, Me and my friend was walking to look at some cars and he said "that's a citation" and I thought I did something wrong until he pointed at the car
That’s the problem with social media in my eyes is it’s normally what people don’t see is what they seem the need to comment on, I’m sure if Mike and Santa (mike and mike seemed weird lol) thought they were getting a raw deal they wouldn’t help or work with you. As for the citation, I am jealous of you. My dad had one for years and I’ve looked a bit but where I am I believe they are just gone.
28 years ago I had a 1984 chevy citation with a busted thermostat and no power steering when you turn left but power steering when you turn right. Great car it took me from point A to point B then to point C. I had two radios in the car when my dad brought it for $200. The other radio was in the glove compartment crazy right. So we donated that car to the local school and it was a $500 tax write-off if you're thinking of getting rid of the vehicle. Just a idea.
I haven't commented in a while, citation has come a long way, I am also a citation fan, and if I lived closer I would have reached out to buy, so I know someone out here has got to love that chevy.
To many entitled people out there you might get the views or content but you just need to do what's good for you I actually enjoy watching you and Mike fix up your uncle's house and watching you guys work on the F150. So keep doing what works for you and I'll keep enjoying all your content.
I love ur content the way you make it. Don't change,
I would drive the hell out of this car!
I have so many ideas for it!
The fact that you save these older vehicles is awesome!
The fools can let you live rent free in there heads!
Good on you for what you do! Thanks for the content & entertainment!
Nice video Randy and Mike. Time to send that old Chevy down the road.
I like this car i think it's a cool car and you did a good job on it Randy 👍 i think it's Nice you bring these Cars
Dang this citation would be awesome to have, you could possibly have a bidding war on it, lol. Way too far away but I am flooded with memories Randy I love this one.
Love that little Chevy!!
Let's see the Probe get some love! That looks like a great project, I can't wait to see it get the works!
I was given a 1980 Citation with the V6 as a 16/17 year old. I remember that it needed a minimum of 5 minutes to warm up in the winter and summer! Sold it as a parts car by my senior year in high school. Your Citation is almost like mine was.
We had a 1983 with the Iron Duke, had no cold start issues.
Nestalgia is why the citation was on your mind Randy. BTW, I dropped over 50 pounds having COVID and the weeks after. It's been months and I still have no appetite. Hope you feel better soon
Randy , ever thought about posting the vehicles on marketplace ? Buyers would contact you on Facebook only . Just a thought . And , I don't blame you for not giving cars away anymore , some people tend to be jerks . ET was missing , that's because ET phoned home 😜
You r doing a great job with the give aways . The losers how r sending u those needy emails. Your work with these cars is a cool deal . Keep up the great work
Randy, You’re A Good Man, Forget What These Nay-Sayers Have To Say, You Do You Good Man, Enjoy The Content With Michael, Educational As Ever..
I hope you save it, I like the Citation.🥰
Randy please stop worrying about these silly comments these people make you do more than any CZcamsr I know of. We appreciate the things you have been doing for your followers we greatly appreciate the things you do keep up the good work
You wouldn't have what you do today if you gave away every thing, got yourself to where you are on your own merits. Keep it going, and holler out to Santa as well.
You've already replaced the steering column might as well fix it. She's a gorgeous machine
Had a I believe 81 Chevy citation, lived in the upper peninsula Michigan right on lake Superior, car had almost 300 k miles carbureted engine and even when it was -4F not including wind chill and yes the car sat outside One pump of the throttle before turn the key and it started right up every time
Yes finaly, great guys👌😃
Need a good home this car😎
You should giveaway your smile and give it away everyday! Keep at it Randy. 😊
Randy can do whatever with his cars no one can judge him keep it up randy I love your videos
I'm glad you saved this old "Chevrol." I think this car would make a great beginner's classic car for the right buyer. It's in great shape for what it is. Kids these days are fascinated by these old "regular" point A to B cars. You just don't see them anymore!
Those seats look good☺️👍
You know for someone to get into the old car hobby, $1000 for that car is a great start. If you are able to give a person a start on the hobby, you've done great. Forget the haters. Your, Mike and Santa friendship is your business.
I had an Oldsmobile version of one of these. It’s too bad the filler panels are missing. It would have looked decent.
I like it, it is a very rare car today. There are none of these to be found for sale online in my area.
I am glad to see the Citation getting some love. I think this Citation and the Ford Tempo are my favorite cars on your channel. Perhaps it is nostalgia as growing up in the 1980's and 1990's, these cars were everywhere (I have a friend that is a retired cop and he told me the calls he hated the most were ones where the suspect car was a Ford Tempo as the area was thick with them). Perhaps it is because these were pretty much point A to point B cars that did not get much love. I will say the only real thing i hated was the radio location in these cars. the irony is that in 1985 the interior was redesigned and the radio move to a new place in the dash where it was facing the correct way only to have GM discontinue the car at the end of the 1985 model year
I am happy it was saved from the scrap yard.
500 is a steal for the car you so much and you are so under apreciated much respect and for power tour the Vette or the Caddy Allia.
U gotta do what it takes to keep the doors opened and contents coming . Thanks for walking for me .
I love this car so much ❤️
I worked at a GM dealer in a small town from 80 to 90. As service manager, I was allowed to drive a used vehicle. My go to was an 81 Citation V6. Great car in the Western NY weather. Just wish I could find something like it for a new driver in my family.
I was just born in November of 84. That was definitely a good year and I remember when all you saw in the 90s was those cars
Had one in the 90's. Great car
