Incredible story, cara! I was drawn to Emerald simply because I love Irish culture and art, and - as a guitarist - to know that an Irish company was making waves in the guitar community with such an innovative product that also show cased and represented our culture and heritage...well..it just blew me away! But wait! Having found Emerald, I then went on to discover that they were responsible for supplying Steve with the Ultra guitar!!! Steve feckin' Vai! The guy who inspired me to spend all those hours day and night practicing the guitar! Cara...I may not be able to afford an Emerald, but I will forever promote your company whenever I can! Keep up the amazing work guys...Per Mac.

Make sure to keep an eye on their sales, especially from stock guitars. I got an X10 for just over 1800 in the 25% sale this year. It has no veneer, no inlay design, and it's simply the carbon fibre weave, which has an Amber colour and is beautiful. Obviously, if you wanted a purpose build with more extras, veneer top, inlays, and extra pick ups, it's going to bring up the costs. I absolutely love my X10! Emerald guitars are absolutely unique, and I've never played anything like it.

What a fantastic story! You are so right about dreams..... Mine was to live in Japan - itself a long story! I have been here now for 22 years!! I love it here and the reality is better than the dream. My family is Japanese,,,,and they want to live in the UK,,,,So, next year, we are selling up and going to live on a narrow boat! That is my wife's dream.....Mine....is to own an X20 lefty!!! When I return......I will get one hopefully!! Thank you for the story. It was as interesting as it was inspirational!

This back story is wonderful. A very well done to the God-Father of the carbon fibers of Life. I did not know that SV1 was really the Emerald #1, cool stuff. It really got to me when you spoke of the person that helped you when you were stuck without a ride, been there. I love my Emerald guitars and can't wait to get out of bed each morning to play them. Fascinating story. I truly enjoyed watching. I bought a X30-12 about 2 years ago, it's been a nightmare with so many problems. You can ask Mat Volsky and Chuck Thompson, they both have first hand knowledge of this guitar. I have been a fan of Emerald for over 10 years and was excited to be able to purchase one and I am still excited to own and play this guitar, having overcome most of the issues with the help of Matt and Chuck but mostly on my own.
