I does have backup water, and he will drink it to get the will to go back to his car. Otherwise this video wouldn’t be up here for us to watch

their invasive, they end up taking water and food from the kangaroos and other native wildlife.
I love that you did admit to having a backup supply but you did not use it. You would have been stupid to do this mission without it. It is a proof of concept, if you have nothing then it is near impossible to survive. I was surprised the goats can actually survive on sea water for way longer than a human can but it will kill them eventually anyway without fresh water. You can dub that place "The Goat and Float graveyard" Great video Matt, it only gets better.
The way he's happy when finding baits and shouting "treasuah" is really contageous and makes me happy too 😁

the salty oysters are a perfect thing to rehydrate yourself. salt helps to retain water in your body . ppl often drink pickle juice for the same reason. not to mention those great minerals

Making rock knife is your next big challenge in your survival game, a truly distinct part of survival, also looked up people who catch fish using a stick shaped as fishing hook an trying find natural cordage but never seen it done. All those Goat Corpses make a perfect all you can eat buffet breeding ground for flies. Makes sense there so bad. Your my favorite channel on CZcams. You and MakyAndMatt channel. Hope Maky starts making more vids. her channel was doing real well and her videos were really good too. Its fun to watch your video, then the Maky and matt behind the scenes version of the same time period.
Future vid idea perhaps, is make your own survival kit and try and survive a week with it. A piece of plastic and collapsable cup as you say or something and try and survive in the place for a few days or a week. maybe try and find that spring you heard about.
Hope your trips aren’t too long and you’re able to help Maky at home with the baby? 🐐 It’s a lot of work I think and maybe she needs help. Plus we’d love to see more homesteading videos.

You don't technically need the sun to make a working saltwater "solar" still... You only need **heat.** Heat some rocks in the fire and put them in the bottom of the hole you've dug for your solar still. Put a thin layer of sand on top of the hot rocks (may not be necessary). And then put either vegetation in the hole, or your container of salt water, with the container to catch the fresh water in the center

It's better to pull the pin and head for safety than have it become an actual survival situation. As much as I enjoy your survival videos, I never want to see you actually put your life at risk for our entertainment. Also follow your own advice and carry a basic survival kit (including water) what if you'd slipped on a rock and mangled your foot again? You don't have to use it, but it's always better to have it.
By far one of the worst places even to try and survive... This coastline with all these flies are just NO joke... Thanks for the video bud. Made our Sunday 🙏🏼🇿🇦🙏🏼

SUGGESTION: How about you show us the emergency supply kit you bring with you before hand 😊(since you're a pro and not stupid we know you have one) and then show it at the end of the video. If you had to have some water, no big deal. If it is still intact then we can see you were able to get what you needed from the land. If not, then you show us the wisdom of being prepared. Great video!
