Love that the pillars in the parking garage are labeled 1D. So now we have 1D, 2D, and 3D.
If you check out the parking garage one floor up. It's labelled 2D. I noticed this in a members behind the scenes video, I don't know if this has been picked up in any race videos....yet!!

Love the new Track! especially the start, having the world tilted to match the slope of the track and giving the illusion that they are starting on a flat track is an awesome touch. Bravo guys. It's exciting to see the KotM back.

wow good observation! I know 3d mentioned it in a member post but I plum forgot.
the only way isee improving is to somehow forced perspective out the downhill turn in the distance. I think that's the source of any "off feeling" one might have.

The details of the new course, along with the audio effects brilliance, have raised your game even more.
Having the camera on the starting line flat against the track (with all the minis and buildings perpendicular to the track as it would be on a flat surface) is a GENIUS idea!
I think chaos canyon does that as well.

When she built her first car here in the Shredder Speedway custom shop, I told her that she had to name the car. She said, "Oh that would have to be Pinky Tuscadaro ! And naturally I had to tell her, oh no that has to be your driver name 👍😎 and the rest is history !!! 👍😎🏁🏁🏁🐅

Without question, this is the best track you've ever created...both in terms of the track itself (so smooth without a ton of crashes) and in terms of the environment. Absolutely incredible work and it was worth the wait!
As a Tomica collector myself, I know their more complicated "internals" are just not built to go fast; certainly not against Hot Wheels'. I'm impressed it was modified by Mr. Julian to go fast enough to qualify though! Credit!

What's wrong with Tomica?
This was what crossed in my mind when I saw a tomica going to participate in the race. Based from what I've seen so far, Tomica lost againts Hotwheels and maybe others too, most of the times, so I did expected that Mr. Julian's Tomica was probably going to end up last, especially compared to Hotwheels that were designed more for speed.
But, I like my Tomicas, and just by lining them up and gazing at them makes me really happy, so I was really happy just for the sole fact that a Tomica participated in the race, and for that Tomica to secure a second position at least once was a pleasant surprise to me.
@@Jay-jb2vr not really "wrong" but I think its more to the factors that compared to the hotwheels, Tomica is created more on the thoughts of "more propotional and details accuracy" for collectible scaled down cars's market segment.
It's not that Tomica was not meant for racing or Hotwheels didn't care for details and accuracy. But each of them put emphasis on what parts they want to strengthen. Tomica provided more details, accuracy, proportion, and suspension gimmick to give more real, scaled down cars feels rather than just simply a car toy, especially those of Tomica premium, but compared to Hotwheels, Tomica just weren't as fast. I think, personally, just the sole fact(not literally or definitive) that Tomica's wheels are relatively smaller and slimmer (for more propotional accuracy) already put them in disadvantages in a diecast race. Not to mention that there are still numerous other factors that put them going not as fast, and how Hotwheels were mostly designed to gain more speed, and looking more flashy in general so they can look more standout among the products.
So it's not that Tomicas can't race, but they're relatively not as competitive as the others. But if I could, I'd like to see the races between just Tomicas and see what's going to happen. But well at the same time, I feel like Tomica is too precious for me to be put in a race and more chances to be damaged lol.
@@Jay-jb2vr TL;DR: suspension & wheels lol
For a race like this, the suspension that Tomicas have would slow them down as that's kinetic energy not going forward, but i assume Mr. Julian removed that. Another problem is that Tomica premiums (which is what the leopard is) have more custom plastic wheels that from the factory, don't always roll straight and are sometimes wonky, something that frustrates me a lot lol. It maybe would have performed better if he had swapped HW wheels in. And finally idk but the mechanism for the opening doors May have made it less stable or more top heavy

Really nice job with the landscaping and details around this track! Definitely can see this one took a lot of hard work. Really makes it all worth watching.
Sometimes you grab a fast stock and throw it together with some Rust belt decals for your best friend who just got diagnosed with leukemia a week before the deadline and it works out others; well see today's race. Honestly the editing and the commentary is out of the world!
Of all the updates and changes to the tracks the best thing that has happened to the channel is 2D. He makes the broadcast. Between the mad beats and stunning tribute to McClyde (race in peace McClyde) to the excellent commentary he is the John Madden of racing. You watch the Daytona 500 and they had 4 or 5 retired drivers bloviating to make the broadcast better. All 3DBotmaker needed to have the best race broadcast was 2D. Feel the love 2D. Feel the love. Not in a Joe Biden smelling girls hair love but more like Terrell Owens saying Tony Romo is his quarterback. 2D’s our racing color analyst.

Pinky's a real pro. Instead of "turn right to go left" to countersteer, the FC doubled down and just literally faced right while turning left for the flex

@@Jay-jb2vr I have to agree with @joaojotta64. In the video itself, they admitted they didn't have cameras covering all the track. I'm sure they'll get everything worked out eventually, though.
Man! When the Ford Sierra Corworth debuted last year in the Hot Wheels main line, I thought it was a very nice car, probably not the best looking, but it had something that appealed me, so I did my best to get one (wasn't so difficult since its success was very low between collectors in my area). Now I'm so proud it did so well in KoTM! I shouted when it took the win in the third race! This season will be epic!
I bought every one I could find, so now I have several in different color schemes. Cossie Sierra and Cossie Escorts are two of my favorite cars.

Great racing as always, though I noticed the bridge that makes the last straight to the finish looks just like the bridge that used to reside in Grand Valley in the Gran Turismo games up until GT7. Maybe this explains where it went.

weirdly fitting to see a singaporean driver in it, seeing as the bridge at the finish line is strongly reminiscent of Elgin bridge in downtown singapore
Infiniti M30 / F31 / Nissan Leopard FTW!! Funfair, the Nissan Leopard was the main star in a cop show in the 80's. It also came with the motor from a z32 as an option!
