Mark D is fast, the idea of someone running a 14 flat is really stretching it. I would be stunned if he doesn't get in on time.

Sounds like that SVO Mustang has been swapped to a V8. At first I was wondering why they would yank the turbo 4, but that lap time was all I needed to understand. Amazing, Marc D!
The foxbody Mustangs raced in Australia (under group A rules) in the Touring Cars were V8s. Way to go! Cheers, thanks for the comment. Marc D
@@cutrockr-diecastracing2773 SVO Mustangs like the one pictured came with a 2.3L turbo and were a little faster than the V8s stock. But if you listen closely, you can hear a V8 in Marc D's car.
Tito is a beast. Amazing move to win in race 2. And some of the best blocking ive ever seen in race 3. Not as fast as marc but with racecraft and skills like that, you dont need to be lol

It isn't always about being the fastest. It's about how well you connect with your machine. Tito showed some amazing skill in his control and that's why he took the win. Marc D would smoke him in a time trial but, too bad for him, this isn't that kind of race.

That Marc D Mustang deserved a better outcome. As awesome as this track is it seems very difficult for fast cars to pass slow cars on this track compared to the last track.

I live in Wamberal, NSW, Australia, and I subscribed back in 2019. Mark D should have got through on pace. Fingers crossed his record stands.

49 years old and cannot believe that I'm watching Hot wheels racing.
And enjoyed the hell out of it.
I love the callbacks and expanding lore. When the mustang 🐎 flipped🙃, we were there for the reaction.
I'm telling you, Steve Eckman was paid (by Tito racing) in that second race to take out Mark D. That DNF when he should have gotten a first or second cost him the qualifier.

Also, Tito Racing showed us that sometimes you just have to have the bigger brain to win the race.

@@Jay-jb2vr I mean Luke’s fastest time was 15.844 seconds and Terrance jr almost beat terry hills record which was 15.501 seconds.The only drivers to get a sub 16 second time last season were Terry hill,Luke.H.,Terrance Jr,Lady of speed,and Frank kline

In defense of Marc D, those buildings block a lot of the view when approaching the intersection! There's no way he could've known that he was about to hit Tito! Of course, that does beg the question of why they're going at such high speeds through the tunnel, seems like quite a safety risk!

This is a good yet funny episode. I also notice the Gundam Toyota Auris commercial on the TV billboard next to the CJ cafe. The Toyota Auris is the JDM name of the previous generation Toyota Corolla in hatchback form which is sold as the Scion iM until Scion discontinued in 2016 and the Toyota Corolla iM afterwards until the E210 Corolla arrived in 2018

Tito has a light car with not much power, but he's very passionate even though he is clearly very green to racing. This drift at 01:50 in the end really made me cheer for him right from the beginning and then his second race with blocking and keeping the first place - just great!
