Thanks, amigo 👊🏼 I hope you can join on one of autumn CX races!
Dude I love your channel...... I subscribed you ride like I do I have a gravel bike with street tires I do lots of downhill on sidewalks which is basically 3 ft wide lots of twisty turns I go balls out I'm not scared at all I come from BMX background I used to race the BMX I've had mountain bikes I'm addicted to speed now I try not to even ever touch the brakes.... I love it I'm going to finish watching this video and I'm going to go ride I'll check out the rest of your videos throughout the week keep it up man! 👍
Top video! Hopefully this autumn will be my first cx season and this was just the motivation that I needed! 💫
Thanks Callum! Glad my video motivated someone 👍🏼
What a cracking video. I started racing Cyclocross last year, having never done it before. It's absolutely bonkers and probably some of the best fun I've had on the bike. I now need to go and price up some of those components ;-)
Thanks, Ash! It is indeed a lot of fun. I love it 👊🏼
Thanks Oleg..a weapon to be sure !
Very informative! Thanks for sharing 😚
Are you bought into the idea of buying a cyclocross bike? 😄
You're not a blogger, you are ACTOR!
Not sure whether to take it as a complement or insult hahah
Such an amazing content! I hope you get more subs
Thanks mate
@@TwistedWheels Keep it up! Hope you smashed that race today! Would love to see a video of your whole fleet!
love the build updates! I'm already excited for fall cx in the US
the only problem with your channel is it makes me want to spend too much money on bikes ;)
Haha, sorry! 😄
seen one on ebay, might try and get it
Cooles Video. Vielen Dank)
Excellent
Awesome 👌 👏
the perfect bike don't exis...
Some great ideas of weight saving! May I check if the headset of this crux is tapered 1 1/2" to 1 1/8"?
I don’t have it anymore but I’m pretty sure it was
Hi, nice build! To make the bike "perfect" I believe you should use tubulars, like professional CX racers. By the way, Challenge makes a tool to help mount their tires.
Yeah, I have a similar tool. It doesn’t help with handmade tyres :)
Tubulars are perfect for professionals, but definitely far from perfect for amateurs like me :)
Thanks for the cool video. How would you classify the general geo of the bike? Do you think it can be ridden as a gravel bike with occasional road-only sessions? thanks :)
For sure. I’ve been riding gravel, cyclocross and even took it to Mallorca for road cycling (as it was lighter than my road bike at a time :)
How did you remove/cover the kcnc branding on you seatpost? Love the clean look and what to do the same on my kcnc post :)
Nice video
Thanks. I had it anodised black by a company who specialises in anodising aluminium. I also like how it looks much more.
You can acetone/ 90% alcohol to remove the branding on most components
Muito bom vídeos sobre bikes ultralight
Muito obrigado
Hi, I want to build the same wheels as yours, but I'm on the edge of the weight limit, can I ask how much you weigh, should I risk it or not?
Hi, I weigh 77kg
How you remove the decals from the Seatpost?
These seatpost come with laser-etched graphics, not decals. I had to anodise it.
how did you fit cannondale SiSl2 to specialize frame?
This CRUX frame had standard BB30 bottom bracket - that is what these cranks were designed for
@@TwistedWheels ohh thanksss
besides weight, why change cranks.
Weight is already a sufficient reason :)
Plus I find them stiffer too.
What is the exact name of the stem you used in this upgrade?
Extralite hyperstem
@@TwistedWheels Thanks!
@@TwistedWheels What do you think is the lightest gravel frameset in the budget category? I love you content I would like to follow your steps :)
There is one thing I don't understand: You live in London, where is (are) your track bike(s).
My knees said “No” to track bikes 🤣
пивко то хоть алкогольное на финише?)
Естессно! 🍻
Что жена сказала 😆?
Боюсь, CZcams это не пропустит :)

rim depth is not about weight. shallow rims will accelerate better than a deep rim and therefore makes a lot more sense. the weight is a very very small bonus
and why do you think they will accelerate better? 😉
@@TwistedWheels less wind to catch? a 1500g shallow rim will accelerate better than a 1500g deep rim
@@Carftymk Shallow whees accelerate better because of the lower rotating mass (rims).
@@TwistedWheels If the rims weigh the same, then shallow rims accelerate more slowly, as their moment of inertia is higher (mass concentrated farther from the center of rotation).
@@ilanpi this is obvious. But shallow rims are lighter (e.g. my carbon rims weigh 280g each) - that’s the whole point.
