Nooo! Sad to see you parting with this beautiful bike
Colnago really keeps the old design of their frame and it's still gorgeous, this is one of the reason why i love this brand next the Pinarello then De Rosa.
Agree. But with C68 I feel they started moving away from this beautiful design. Still the shape of the frame is looking classic 👌🏼
Congratulations dude! Sharing your riding adventures, clear audio and visual, tech info, equals a massive effort. Gorgeous Colnago too! Thank you for making this.
Thanks James. Glad that people see and value the effort 👊🏼
Love your videos!! Very informative! Keep them coming !
A refreshingly original set up. I totally agree that the C64 is a better looking bike than the newer C68.
Awesome build, with using different manufacturers - very inspiring! Thanks mate
Cheers buddy
great video, congratulations for the colnago!
Wonderful built. I'm going for c68 now, after c60 and SWORKS time. Can‘t explain but there is something magic around these bikes❤
Lovely video and build, not worrying about the weight opens so much more possibilities. Thanks for sharing the video link on Weight Weenies. On the note of Tubolitos, after using these with lightweight clinchers for several years going back to tubeless felt so liberating, not having to worry about punctures, even though extra 200g hurt a bit.
Thanks, Илья! I have actually switched to Tubolitos not to worry about the non-sealed punctures on my road bike 😃 waiting for someone to make a road specific sealant to seal thin tyres with high pressure…
Great build!! 1x was a perfect choice it looks great
Thanks! I think so too 😜
Awesome build! Love it❤
Your frameset looks very similar to my CX-1 frameset I just finished building. Also matte and gloss black.
And that black chain on this bike! Style👌🏼
I am all about mountain biking but I must admit that this beauty got me, lovely build!! And like always, good vid, very funny script!
Thanks, Antonio!
Dude I love the rival hood too. Both my bikes have the rival hood with red and force components
Interesting build!
Since I got older, I started road bike with gravel tyres … but I’m just taking the road bike down the same routes I’d take the mtb on.
Looks beautiful
I hope you enjoyed Asturias cider 😉
That looks wow
You should check out Gelu saddles there ergo and the lightest saddle option out there.
First comment, haven't even watched the video I already know Twistedwheels + any bike is a beast.
Haha thanks. I hope you think the same after watching the video :)
Great Video... thanks
Awesome build - Colnagos were always my dream bikes. How does it measure from BB to top of saddle, btw?
Hi, love the look of the rotor cassette and force rear mech. Is that rear mech the new xplr version?
Hi, yes it is
My FOCUS IZALCO max 2018 is 689g frame and 278g the fork 50cm frame
Thanks for the information 😄
super sick bike like literally all your bikes. not as cool as the de rosa tho... haha. I gotta ask tho. you are a very, VERY skilled rider. i feel like london must be kinda boring for road riding at your skill level, since there are no long descents nearby?
Im lucky to live in San Jose where i can ride 20 minutes to mount hamilton. as a result literally everyone has a road bike and/or sportbike. But i recognize that not everyone is so lucky. Curious to hear your thoughts
HI, great video thanks. Specific qus regarding through stem, headtube cables. There is a Red wedge in the headset space. How did you get round that. I have a C64 but need to thread the cables semi externally. Thanks
Thanks. There are cable exits at the bottom of the stem. Cables then go into the Farsports spacer (specific to Colnago) and into the headset via the D-shaped fork. So the red wedge is inserted in the stem after that as normal.
Here is a close out shot of how the final result looks:

Thanks
Thanks for the donation, my friend!
Amazing build. Whats bb does it used? Looks very smooth.
Thanks. It uses Ceramicspeed T45
Fantastic build and great video. Loving your content but what was the total cost?
Thanks, Mark! I had most of the parts from my previous builds and I bought a used frameset, so it’s hard to calculate. But the estimate is around £7k 😬
Классный вел! привет из Австралии =)
Привет. Спасибо!
Use code TWISTED-WHEELS for 100 USD off any Farsports wheels!
Use code TWISTED-BAR FOR 50 USD off the Farsports handlebar!
What bottle cages are those?
Do you think sram force 36T dereileur would work with your rotor cassette?
I think it should, but I haven’t tried
Sweet build! What kind of bar tape did you use? Btw i enjoy all your videos 👍
Thanks. It’s GodAndFamous
Ordered, thanks again man I appreciate you! 🙌
Thank You for not using tan sidewalls tire!
Haha you are welcome!)
Lovely bike ❤️
How is the hylix seatpost so far?
Is Quality ok? Any issues with it slipping or problems with saddle clamp?
I’m thinking of getting one for my C64 so I would appreciate your feedback.
Many thanks!
Thanks. No issues so far with the seatpost
@@TwistedWheels Thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
Cheers!
@@TwistedWheels Do you mind I ask which ebay seller did you buy this seatpost from?
Thanks again!

Hi! Why don't you use a power meter? Weight penalty is probably about 100g (pedal based).
Because I don’t need it 🤷🏻♂️
👍
What can I say.... I have the same top tube protection 🤣
🤣 you’ve got the main bit
You have no problems with taste, except for the appearance of the saddle 😉
ps. pls record stereo sound in the future..
Thanks. The sound is stereo.
@@TwistedWheels the skatepark surroundings are recorded with the voice on the left channel only
Be6utif4l!!!
How's those handlebars in a long term? Stiff, no issues?
Really love the handlebars. Stiff and the geometry is spot on.
did you re-paint the crank arms?
No. I’ve covered the silver part on the cranks with black vinyl.
@@TwistedWheels cool, do you have closer pictures in other social-media site?
Yes, in my Intagram:
instagram.com/p/CcVU2KSMf-R/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
Colnago = MAMIL no question 😁
It's a 10 for me, but.... the logos in the tires are not aligned with the valve!!!! Lol
I’ll try better next time haha
Sorry, but C64 it's made to be paired with Campagnolo Record or Super Record groupset.
Sorry, not sorry 🤣
@@TwistedWheels 😬🤣
Дядь, невероятно крутой видос на невероятно крутой велик! Информативно, с юмором, интересно!
Спасибо! Рад стараться 😄✌🏼
Put 1x on my C64 and never looked back - 1x on all my rides now…
Push
I cannot agree with u that c64 is a comfortable frame...
Everyone is free to disagree 😃
ооо брята увидел!!! :***
Так и живём! 😭
OMG dude, amazing on the ramps!
I love the component mix. It totally makes sense. I replaced my whole drivetrain to Red XPLR a few months back and yeah... my girlfriend has Rival AXS and I think it was a total waste because they work exactly the same. I think I would pick the same things, rival shifters, force derailleur and cassette and red cranks.
I had very bad luck with garbaruk chainrings, I broke 2 of them, they just shattered. They gave me a 50% voucher for the next one but I went with wolftooth's and it looks awesome. I have it since before I got the new drivetrain (I had 1x11 mechanical before) and it's been great but I've had a couple of drops... SRAM chainrings look awful but they have better chain retention I think.
I've seen you use eagle chains on AXS single chainring drivetrain (aethos video?). Why? Any difference with the flat top?
I currently have a Santa Cruz Stigmata 2019 with all top of the range components and I'm thinking about buying the Spesh Crux Comp, swapping components and selling the old-frame-worse-parts bike. What do you reckon? I love the light blue one and it's for sale where I live, new model is out.
Have send u a mail . Thanks
