Scores 42 points, tells he did a bad job because 6-7 of his shots got blocked by an 7 foot 4 defensive monster.
I understand his thought process though. Nuggets should have blown out the worst team in the West who only have a rookie + scrubs. This speaks more of Wembys future greatness too. He carried his team to the end.

Wemby did a much better job if I am Tim Duncan than I did on Tim Duncan in my first season. Shows respect and doesn't mention the fact that he still managed to score 42 pts. That's how great players talk. LeBron could learn a few things.
If Jokic went around crowning himself when he had a good game and walking out early without shaking hands after a bad loss like Lebron does, then I would freak out and stop watching! I love how humble Jokic and Wemby are! True team players!
Probably because he got most of his points when victor was off the floor because he did get blocked 6-7 times against him. Regardless Jokic is a great guy and still gonna get his MVP numbers

The Spurs aren't concerned about winning so Wemby chucking those 3s don't matter. It's actually good that he's taking those shots now so he knows his range and efficacy better. These remaining games are the perfect practice games the Spurs can get.
Missed my point. Complimenting Wemby for being able to lead a depleted team to a near victory in the hardest arena to play in the nba. Point is without chucking 3s they could have won even without anything to play for. Hope we can move on now lol

Duncan already had 3 championships when he was jokics age right now he's right dont compare them they're far apart from each other
The nuggets number 2 + 3 man were out for 2 seasons. The Joker carried nevertheless, won 2 MVP's , helped develop AG. Won the title and FMVP when the team was healthy. Basketball is a team sport, you know?
Imagine for two of those championships Duncan was missing Ginobili and Parker

@@strangelove7125 that's understandable every team goes through it's ups and downs but to put him in the category of one of the goats to ever play the game yet before he's even reached half of his accolades is dumb he's even saying it in the interview. If anything Jokic reminds me more of Nowitzki at the moment than Duncan. If he proves himself to be at the level of Duncan later on in his career then we can begin the comparisons.
Duncan had Robinson and a great supporting cast later on with some hall of famers.
