I literally JUST saw with Bazemore a few hours ago at the Heritage Series race in Tulsa, Oklahoma doing photography and filming! I was not expecting to see him up there that was really cool and I was thinking the same thing, damn I wish that guy was driving because I remember in 03 when he was chasing the championship and it was down to the wire in Vegas.
It happened a few years ago when Capps and Bazemore were on the same team. Bazemore mouthed off to Capps about something and Capps punched him in the face. And that was the end of that.
Jet cars at OCIR in the 70's making runs into the fog,when the race cars couldn't run. Balls like Jupiter !!! Nothing but the FLAMES SHOWING,THEN A WIN LIGHT !!!
It was Capps that threw the punch after Baze, and he got nailed with a $10,000 fine for his outlash. Bazemore has gotten under the skin of some of his opponents in the past.
In these days of boring drag racing where there's no more 1/4 speed records and "reality shows" with the Force's daughters, some off-track fist fights are in order...I can dig it anytime!!!
I have always liked John Force. I think he was good for drag racing and racing in general. That said, I wish at least one person would have dropped him like a bag of cement. He made a point of making confrontations physical. Some people don't want to take things to that point, even though they could.

I agree...The N.H.R.A. needs some sort of WWE script to have the fans invested to see the next race. Much like NASCAR has now. The big difference is that only 16 qualify for each fuel division while there's 43 circle jerks running their mouths.

No matter what, John has no right to touch a person in an unacceptable way just because he has a disagreement with them. The same thing happened in 2009 at Indy. He touched an NHRA official & got fined for it. I neither hate or love John. I respect what he's done for drag racing. I think that controversies will always be there.

Their reason was that John did long burnouts but in recent years he has shorten them up. I dont think it was a one time thing and that Whit did it several times to John & Tony. Whit had a tendancy to piss people off when he was racing

I haven't like Force since he badmouthed Bruce Larson when Bruce was finally doing well after all those years of match racing & no budget. Bruce has never said a bad thing about anyone that I know of and had always been humble, giving credit to his crew and none for himself. A real class act IMO. Something Force is not most of the time. I thought after Medlen had died he'd changed, didn't last long though. I like his daughters though, they seem a little more professional. Must get it from mom.
