god, john force is a dad and then some... the man drives 300+mph for a living and still has time to be a father! now thats true determination and love for his children right there!
sstroh08 whats really funny about your comment is you have no idea the gravity of the situation I am also from a racimg family you ....YOU would shit when a real car goes crazzy Hurt you more than your keyboard you silly shallow minded fool
People don't even understand going that fast. It takes time to get the mind to catch up to it. You go 150, then 180, etc... Once you get comfortable with it. You start using all that extra concentration left over figuring out how to beat that person next to you! I remember going 180 MPH racing motorcycles and scaring myself witless on that first turn breaking into it. Its all about not letting fear "which is something that is not happening to start with" ruin your life.
Normally, in motorsports, the driver is out of the car before the safety crew even gets there. I don't know if that was the case with Brittany, but she was obviously able to walk to the ambulance under her own power, which they always let drivers do if they're willing and able. When the decision was made to bring Brittany to the hospital, that's when C-spine became necessary because a hospital NEVER wants to receive an MVA victim without c-spine precautions in place.
being an EMT we can't force our patients to be on a backboard or even go to the hospital. It is there ultimate decision to be treated and transported. We can only persuade them that they NEED to be backboarded and c-collered for safety reasons. As long as the patient is oriented and knows what happened, where they are, what day it is our hands are tied until they tell us they want us to treat them. It sucks sometimes cause you know what needs to happen and pts don't allow you to help.
seen this crash on Right on Track. 10 years later history repeats itself when Brittany wrecks her Monster Dragster in Pomona. At least she is okay. And that why Brittany never gives up if she wrecks she will always be back in her dragster trying to break the land speed record.
@medicgirl6020 I totally understand I'm a paramedic volunteer and we tell our patients this would be better for your safety but then again a lot of them never want it.
I'm glad to see her do this, her dad is right get back in that thing and do it gotta do sooner or later sooner is always better do let the fear set in no time to think bout it. Good job dad and daughter
Can't make fun of Brittany. I seen her in person and she is a very small girl. But look at her know though driving top fuel only force to ever drive one.
wrecking while speeding defidently slows you down and takes away confidence that takes a long time to get back you no longer want it to be sketchy like it used to lmao
No way in hell would I let my daughters race NASCAR or Hot Rod, dragster etc. it wouldn't matter if I raced and was the greatest there ever was. What indicates whatever talent I have would somehow be inherited? I know how a dad can push children into something they themselves love and are highly skilled in, all the while, claiming I didn't push them. A good friend of mine is a huge college football fan, she kills it in NCAA and NFL trivia. She has 4 girls and 1 son, despite being undersized (and gay as well as not liking football) he played on junior and high school ever going to camps all summer. When his mom asked him if he was thinking of walking on a university team he finally opened up, Mom, I'm gay and I hate football, I only played to make you happy. The mom believes that not only did she not push him into sports, she told him he was too small and light, meaning he'd get crushed by bigger kids. She made sure that all the family was at his games ad rewarded the kid when he did OK
@Eagleoneradiogod oh come on women do fine driving and working on cars go to an NHRA race some time and see lots of women driving and working on cars . and not just daily drivers i mean top fuel cars the fastest cars in the world
WOMEN ARE NOT DESIGNED TO DO MENICINAL JOBS EVEN THOUGH THEY THINK THEY CAN. THE MOST COMMON MISTAKE ALL DRIVERS MAKS IS EXCESSIVE BREAKING EXCESSIVE STEARING MOST PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO CONTROL A VEHICLE WITH MINIUM IMPUT INTO THE CONTROLS. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON CONERNING. JUST YESTERDAY I SAW A ACURA SPIN OUT JUST GETTING ON THE FREEWAY. I WISH I WOULD HAVE COUGHT THAT ON FILM.
Wow... crappy job by the medics lol. So she crashed, was pulled out of the car, put in the ambulance, then 15 minutes later put in c-spine on national TV. I wonder if they still have their jobs lol
god, john force is a dad and then some... the man drives 300+mph for a living and still has time to be a father! now thats true determination and love for his children right there!

but history repeats itself and Brittany once again wrecks 10 years later.
Boy did Brittany come a long way since this incident!
a very long way and 10 years after this crash she wrecks again but for Brittany it is all part of being a member of Team Force.
this is neat but a&e overdramatized the hell out of it
sstroh08 whats really funny about your comment is you have no idea the gravity of the situation

@medicgirl6020 I totally understand I'm a paramedic volunteer and we tell our patients this would be better for your safety but then again a lot of them never want it.

You don't know anything about drag racing do you?
Sarcasm .. You know what it is.. Right??
She is gonna be in a whole new world when John puts her in a top fuel funny car

Junk EMT's! Why even c-spine after that much time?
Right. If they thought she needed it, it should have been on her before she got out of the car.
