They did not describe BPD accurately. I researched BPD for months because I was misdiagnosed. Anyway BPD is most stigmatized disorder and they can be manipulative but not all are manipulative. Most are only manipulative inside trigger. You are not your disorder. And if you say you are not manipulating people, then you aren't. Go be your best self.

hey sorry I might sound dumb but what is BPD
Bpd is borderline personality disorder and it's one of the worst personality disorders out there. But the person talking on video is not accurately describing BPD. It's a bunch of untruths. For example, video says BPD is master manipulators. Bpd people have triggers and they burst out in anger and can manipulate only inside that trigger. Bpd people have loads of empathy outside a trigger and are sweet and caring. But inside the trigger, they lose all feelings but the anger. They don't care about the consequences or feelings of others. Therefore, they can seem like 2 different people. I've just described 1 aspect of BPD. There are 9 total aspects that are considered in diagnosis.

@@terry_the_berry if you have symptoms, also look into autism. They overlap. I'm autistic-not BPD but I believed I was BPD for 6 months. But borderline personality disorder workbook(it's blue and white cover) I bought on Amazon actually helps with loads of disorders. It takes time to teach strategies for anger and is helpful. Good luck.
