It's like a weird mix of Rocky and Rambo.
In a strange way it's kinda like a reverse vanity project. The movie has all the hallmarks of one. But instead of being the super mega bad ass that wins every fight. Miles Long loses or just barely win every fight.

18:10 Dave is correct. Sometimes a heart monitor can show a flatline when there is a very weak pulse, that's when you use a stethoscope which can detect a much fainter heartbeat. An electric shock will do nothing for a heart that is not beating.

My Father was a big fan of B grade action schlock movies. I lost him yesterday morning after his long battle with heart failure. The deck was stacked against him. While in the hospital recovering from the heart issue, he contracted sepsis and had a bowel blockage. He somehow, inexplicably, recovered from both and was able to come back home. While he was rehabbing and trying to regain strength, he suffered a TIA stroke. He was battling back from that, but in the end it was too much for him. He asked for his favorite drink, a rum and Coke which he hadn't had in a long, long time and then after finishing it he told us he was tired and didn't think he could fight anymore. Billy Jack was the first B movie he introduced me to.
Thanks for keeping these old gems circulating and I will continue to watch them on your channel for as long as I can.

He never had great ability in any one area, but he would just put his head down and push through until whatever goal he wanted to accomplish was completed. He busted his butt at Poly Tech to become an engineer and when he completed his military duty he went to work for Fairchild Industries and helped design the A-10. When the company changed from military contracts to private sector space and became Orbital Sciences, he helped develop the satellites that the company launched into orbit for cell phone and GPS technology. He was the only employee in the history of the company to be named Employee of the Month twice. Because of his attention to detail, he saved Fairchild from a lawsuit from the government for breach of contract. His paper trail proved that the communications were sent as ordered and were being fouled up on the government's end.
He was a tough man to grow up with, but it is because he wanted me to be the best I could be. He taught me the importance of doing a job right the first time so it was the only time. That if you said you were going to do something, that you do it. If I ever needed anything, my Dad was always there for me to make it right.
Watching you guys predict this movie really makes me want a so bad it’s good bingo card. The free space could be Dave’s face doing the barbarian yell.
Not since John Wick have I seen an action hero take so many hits. That guy was a nut with all the stunts he did! This shit is why we need stunt awards at the Oscars.

In bad 1980's and 1990's movies, bars are apparently the most dangerous places on earth.

From the tree branch grab onwards was absolutely insane. You know, there's something to be said for allowing your hero to get beaten and battered and yet still persevere. It really conveys the threat. Part of the reason why films like John Wick are so great is because the action grounds it in reality (albeit with a pinch of salt) when you see the hero take a beating that would stop others, yet still press on.
I love that while honoring the good bad movies, stunt people get their flowers as well. A shame the academy doesn't recognize their efforts but we sure do here at SBIG!

Something about the Sega genesis soundtrack and the random throng of thugs that beat up men and women alike for no reason makes me think of this as a Streets of Rage the movie if it was made in the early 90's or late 80's. We have "Miles Long" as Axel Stone, Officer Backdoor as Blaze Fielding and we don't have a black guy as Adam but if we did its almost 1:1. Also that last bullet in the pocket reminded me a lot of Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, I wonder...
