    Thank you for all the information. One of the things I'm having a hard time researching is reliability stats. I was hoping your video was going to cover that. Perhaps you have another video that does. I'll check. Thanks again.

    I'd love to see some conversation about broiler location: bottom drawer, or within the main oven cavity. I have a bottom-of-the barrel GE oven from 15 years ago, and it's in the bottom drawer, and it's the jankiest drawer I've ever had on any appliance or piece of furniture. It's so bad, we rarely use it more than once or twice per year. I wonder if newer drawer broilers are actually better than they used to be, or if we should look for an oven with the broiler. And what I also find interesting, is how important this would SEEM like it should be, but it's barely mentioned in passing in most range spec lists, if at all. In some cases, I've had to download the appliance's manual PDF and search for the section on broiling to find out if it's in the drawer, or in the oven.

    Your comment regarding service is interesting. In 40 years and 5 homes I've never had to have a gas range serviced. Seems like this supports the old adage "they don't make 'em like they used to" or plain old planned obsolescence.

    I know you don’t have many subscribers and views but I watch all of your videos. Your videos helped out a ton when I bough a pro range last year. Thanks for the great information.

    No one ever talks about the location of the cut-out for the gas valve. The last time I bought a stove, I had no idea. I have lived with my stove being 2 inches from the wall. Now I need a new stove and have no idea how to check this before buying.

    Helpful overview, even though no specific models are covered.

      Thank you. The idea was to cover the main considerations, give people something to compare specific models against

    You Guys are absolutely amazing!!!..wish you were here in Colorado:) we are going through Mountainhigh appliances for our new build and they seem to be really good as well...Im kind of leaning towards the New Thermador Pro 60 inch dual range although torn between the wolf equivalent any thoughts?

    • @YaleAppliance1
      @YaleAppliance1  Před 3 lety

      Those are both great choices. It really depends on your cooking style and the features for each that support that. Like if you make soups a lot you can get a 60" Wolf with a French Top, if you like a really low simmer the Thermador is a good option, and so on. Good luck!

    What do you think about KitchenAid pro-range

    • @YaleAppliance1
      @YaleAppliance1  Před 2 lety +1

      Its a fun range that comes in a lot of great colors. We love Kitchen Aid products but I would be careful on what you are trying to compare this range with. There are "pro-style" ranges like the KitchenAid and there are "Professional" ranges like Miele, Thermador, and Wolf. KitchenAid should not be compared to those brands.

    Thank you for the video. I am looking at getting a gas range double oven. I am debating between the Cafe vs. LG signature. Or going down a tier with both companies to the GE Profile and LG Smart Double Oven. I was wondering if you think it is worth it to with the higher level for Cleaning, Cooking, and Reliability Purposes as those are my main interests. And Which brand you recommend. Thanks so much

      When you go up in price point you are getting better features, not necessarily better build quality. If those features make sense for your needs then it's worthwhile to spend more to get them.

    How come luxury appliances dealers do not post prices? It us hard to shop around and to have an idea of how much of a budget do you need? Also you gave the best times to buy these products but how do you really know if you are getting a discount when you really don't know the regular prices? When I mentioned luxury appliances I meant wolf etc.

    • @YaleAppliance1
      @YaleAppliance1  Před 3 lety

      That's a fair question! We are mandated by many manufacturers to sell at a minimum price, that being the same as every other dealer (at least in our region). Basically, everyone has the same price. It's similar to premium consumer goods like with an iPhone or an Xbox - meaning the price only changes when the manufacturer decides.

    • @Peter-ok9bj
      @Peter-ok9bj Před 3 lety

      Thank you. So I basically have to go to the store to get prices so I can set up a budget. I really didn't want to waste salesman time until I was ready to buy.
