This is setting me up for disappointment when I go appliance shopping this weekend. No salesman will hold a candle to this and I'm going to expect them all to be this knowledgeable 😄
Mini masterclass on ranger ovens. Well done my friend! 🥇
Very thorough analysis. I’ve lived in my house for 40 years, so I’ve run through the gamut of ranges: electric coil, electric glass top, natural gas, and as of last week, back to electric glass top. I have both electric and gas lines, so it was just a matter of preference. I found that the natural gas unit took forever to boil water, very frustrating. The temperature probe was so inaccurate, it wasn’t worth the bother; a small digital thermometer was far easier. The convection option? I hardly used it. I can’t use induction because I have an implanted pacemaker-defibrillator. The new electric smoothtop has been great. Boils immediately, no gas fumes, the grandkids can’t reach the controls. True, it’s not as quick to change temps as a gas flame, and you have to be careful not scratch it. But I can easily live with those restrictions. Oh, one more thing - in the winter, we have a humidifier running in the kitchen. It compromises the gas flame, and you get a yellow flame instead of blue. I first thought it was a gas supply problem, but then discovered it’s a common problem with moisturized air flowing nearby.
We are renters, after living here for 12 years our range oven just stopped working. Our landlord offered to purchase a new range for us and gave us the option to pitch in to upgrade to an appliance that suits us. After watching this video I am going to be so much more confident when I go out to choose the oven that will work best for us. Ben was very easy to listen to and follow, he was very thorough with explaining all the features that are available as it can be super confusing to those of us that know nothing about this subject. Thank you Ben, you have helped us more than you can really know!
Thank you for sharing this!!! I’ve watched so a few videos about what range to buy as home cook and this has been the absolute best one so far. You kept me engaged and answered ally questions even some I didn’t know I had. Thanks again😄
Thank you for helping my thought process 😅 ( first time home buyer) most sales people are not very knowledgeable or just don’t have time to walk the store floor so Thanks for this content very much appreciated
Excellent video! Your explanation of this product is the gold standard to refer to. Thank you!
Thanks a million man, you have saved me hours and hours of searching,I really appreciate your help thanks again
Ben was so informative. Thanks so much! Get more people like Ben.
Fantastic video. Contains thorough info on all sorts of ranges, including pros and cons.
Thank you. Good info about many things I didn't consider.
Very nice video!! I’m in the market for a new gas range and this was helpful! Very nice job!!! Gold star for you!
Thank you for making this video. Excellent!
This was a really good presentation. Thanks for sharing. I learned a lot.
Great video!!!!! Thanks so much. I learned a lot!
Great information ! So clear!
Thank you.
Thanks! That was really great info for an amateur “range shopper”. 😉
Top man thank you for this 😊 Very useful. Me & my partner are in the process of our first mortage so this is all new to us lol! Got to be ready for exchange day!🏡🎉
I've been cooking all my life with an electric range.
I'm finally in position to remodel a kitchen and I'm going to a gas cooktop and electric convection wall oven.
This choice is best for me because when the power grid goes out you will still need to cook or heat food. It's inconvenient if the power's out for a couple of hours, but life-and-death in an ice storm with a week-long grid failure.
By the way, induction will usually require a visit from the electrician to upgrade the circuits to the 50-amp current specified, and repairs to an induction cooktop are outrageously expensive, no, thank you just the same.
Thank you so much for fast and simple explanation.
In the market for a new range. Your video was very informative and helpful. Thank you
Really appreciate this!!!
Thanks for this, it answered a lot of my questions.
Lots of great info. Thank you.
Excelent information. Thanks so much
Great video, answered all my questions.

Super helpful video! Thanks!!
Thanks Dude! Great starting place for us. Well done!
Great information! Thank you!!
Very well explained. Good job.
Great video. Thank you
Thank you for the help!
I like stove very much.
Great informative video
Fantastic video…very informative, thank you.
Nice video, very helpful ! Good work :)
Excellent information on range features. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
The first range with coils is in my opinion the best for home cooks. They are incredibly resistant to hits from pans (even cast iron) and the coils are super cheap to replace. The glass ones, on the other side, feel like planned obsolescence to me, since the glass it's extremely expensive to replace
you made some really pertinent points that will help me decide what to choose. question--why dual fuel? thanks
Great video with solid sound advice on ranges. Thank you!
Excellent Review Sir!!!
Very helpful video
This guy is good. Nicely explained and good flow. Some of the music at the beginning was a bit much though, kinda distracting. Thanks for the info though.
good stuff
Great presentation.
Glad you liked it!
OMG!! Can you be my oven salesman?? 😭😭 This video was so informative. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Bit of a better review than I have seen on other sites, but the base line will always be how good the manufacturer tech support is.
My local Bosche team seem a lettuce leaf short of a sandwich in that respect so may not be a prime contender when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Great presentation! Better without the word “so”.
FYI Frigidaire does not stand behind their products. If you any issues after ONE YEAR, they cover nothing. That’s right, a one year warranty on an item that costs thousands and should last over a decade. Kitchenaid has 3 years.
Most folks who go to a store are there to replace a range, so installation is key as is incorporating it to your existing counter. That was not touched upon..
My current range has slight overhanging edges that eliminate the gap between the range and the counter. This prevents spills and bits of food from falling in making cleaning near impossible as appliances are anchored to prevent tipping over. I have yet to find such a range, though the height of some is adjustable. A seamless appearance is not only functional but esthetically pleasing. Please comment on this. Otherwise, this was a great primer .
Hotty in the appliance section!!
Next ranges are not easy to clean. Which are best?
Hello, Mr. good morning…
On the LSEL6337F LG - Smart Slide-In Convection Range…Can you direct me on how to dismantle and replace The dashboard panel, I believe its number is 2002
… It was damaged while pulling the range out, so I have the part… and need to know how to replace it without further damage…I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Which ranges are best? I need electric. The smooth top ranges are fragile even with water.
God I love Ben so much
Can someone please recommend me a reliable 24” gas range!?
All the brands i see have bad reviews. I need the oven to work too.😢
Now I want a convection oven
So quick question so the bottom of oven is broil and the top is bake thank you
No, the broiler is the top element and bake is the bottom. In some cases the bake element is hidden, but a range has both elements , broil attached to the ceiling and bake on the floor. See 12:59 where he points out the broil element.
udat in denver?
What is the name of the ranges?
please how is the price
Hi Benedicta, we usually don’t put prices in our videos since they are subject to change. For Current pricing check out our website ApplianceFactory.com or give our friendly sales team a call at 720-772-3434.
okay thanks
You look like Sean McVay
For those in the comments wondering....So count = 117 (thank you YT transcript search extension)
That said, the guy was very informative and obviously has an on-camera tick as being on screen is undoubtedly not his profession."
But still....117 SOs...very commendable count and solid on-camera tick
Most people can save money buy buying toaster oven, microwave, grill, slow cooker, deep fryer, and delivery. These can burn down the kitchen I think.
Say bad wire
My laughing stove is a creepy guy
Those glass top are not easier to clean, scratch easy
"So! 😄"
"so!"... "so!"... "so!"...
So
The #1 problem: all these manufacturers offer only THREE (!) colors in their ranges: stainless steel, white, and black. They are BORING! WHY is it impossible for manufacturers to offer red, green, yellow, bronze, brass, copper colors, without charging in excess of $20,000? Color is at least as important as the features.
…to someone who will never use it…and definitely Simone who will never clean it 😂
so? x9999
Hot guy alert
I lost count of how many times he said "so" when he hit around 87 times. They';; never call him Einstein.
Nothing you can say can be taken seriously if you disable dislikes. Be transparent or else you're a liar and a snake.
I stopped after 2 minutes. Very low quality speech bye
