Is your bird a male or female? And how old? I don't have an amazon, but that looks like an attempt to mate with your hand, and the grunting, wing flitting behavior strikes me as hormonal. From what I understand, an aggressive, hormonal amazon will try to bite, be very cage territorial, fan the tail, etc.
Mine is extremely friendly. I don't know if he is an exception or it is because I hand fed him since he was 6 weeks old. He is also quiet and shy compared to other double yellow amazons.
