I love love the new T-Stand. Super quality and won’t fall over. Even comes with its own wrench!! Didn’t have to go searching for tools👍🏼
I have one at the apartment with D'artagnan. It works really well and is easy to move around.
Huh never realized how much Amazon heads look like giant budgies
More like giant conures
Are you working on formal indoor recall training sessions with your bird(s)? These training sessions are your insurance plan if/when your bird gets out a door one day.
Not yet, but I would like to. My parrot is also a yellow headed, she likes to explore outside, but when she is on a tall tree she's scared to fly back. So she calls me to bring my arm or a stick closer.
Dar is quite the looker, I just love double yellow heads when they are being sweet. Thanks Dave and Jamie, great class!
I have a rescue Amazon Parrot. She had unfortunately been heavily abused by whoever her breeders were. As her wings have been damaged and her tail feathers were cut. We've had her for over a year now. She has an extreme fear of hands and can be aggressive. Understandably. But shes slowly getting better, she'll never fly but she gets very happy sitting high up on top of her cage and makes happy noises when she sees me.
I hope one day I can get her to trust me to be able to step up or accept my touch. I can now hand her things from my hands which is progress but its taken a long time to get this far.
I don't know much about birds but i am trying to learn about them! And that bird is soo cute and funny.
Amazon's are mid size parrots, and double yellow heads like Dar are known to be good talkers, but they are also known to bite when frustrated and bite shockingly hard. They usually give warnings though like eye pinning and fluffy head feathers. This parrot is quite clever, and can live to be sixty or more years.
The bird is like a dog, if you run it will chase you. Funny
Yeah I am way too clumsy to handle all that stuff. Clicker stick tiny treats body language vocal commands distance etc etc 😱🤣🤦🏻♀️💚
You do look nervous at the end, lol

Like the new fuller beard look, Dave. Great training tips as always. Hope Jaime and Capri will be okay with scratchy Dad kisses😁.
Have you guys seen the latest video from Carolin vin Pelzholdt?? She needs to redone a rescue Military Macaw. Dave, Project Bird…only you could turn the poor guy around to have a good future❤️.
i think the best way to train without to much time is just be rewarded behav you want he wil do some of them eventually then just reward and be patient
Beautiful video 💕❤️
Which parrot is the best for free flight (excluding large macaws)
Very good training
Love Amazons, you should look at Tico and the Man on CZcams, Tico and his master are musical maestros
We will be seeing them this month! 🙂
I teach turn (to the left) and spin (to the right)
Good information sharing
Hi. Great video. Can you do this sort of training with a budgie xx

My budgies seem more than happy to perch on me, but if I try to touch them with my hands they freak out. Any tips?

Could you guys do a parrotlet course or have one as a project bird
I need your help!! I have a yellow crowned Amazon who has been threw enough in life and we adopted him and we were told he was so mean and he’s a sweet heart loves love but we don’t know how to get him out of the cage and hold him he’s never been allowed out of the cage in his other homes we always offer open cage and he still doesn’t come out unless he is super bored and wants to explore but it’s rare and we want him comfortable and we want to hold and love on him do you have any tips?
