So a few comments kind of said it, but to be clear: in the og story, Jason was not back, it was Clayface pretending to be Jason... but the reception was so strong they came back later on and retconned it as actually having been jason briefly before swapping out with Clayface.
Personally I think it's overcomplicated, and they should have just let it be clayface. The conversation, general appearance, and motivation don't really mesh with Jason as we see him later. So i choose to ignore the retcon.

Wow... those elbows ARE an eye sore. Totally agree and please bring in the blue n grey version next. I'd love to see a Poison Ivy n corrupted Superman 2 pack next... 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Nice review, D. A lot of good information. This 2-pack is up on GameStop and I had it in my cart, but I didn't pull the trigger because I just can't get past those terrible elbows (and the angry open mouth expression). Hopefully they will re-release the Batman as a single figure in blue and gray.

Great review as always, I got the incorrect arms from my local and ended up ordering one from norway to get the normal arms. Thankfully the blue version has been announced.
Guess I’ll never get the normal arm version…

the elbows are painted Black, if you remove the paint it will be gray undeneath.
btw, hush doesn't have side eye, his eyes are completely white
But that won’t fix the elbow issue as the top of the forearms needs to be gray as well
Yeah I realized when looking at the hush head that they were all white, I made a comment about that when looking at hush closely

i heard if you take the elbows apart and use paint remover on them you can remove the black paint and the plastic is grey underneath
Yeah but that won’t fix the issue is forearms need the top to be gray also

The only reason I'd want to get this two-pack is to customize that Batman figure. I'll use the head, cape, lower arms/legs, and hands from the Three Jokers Batman and the upper torso, belt, trunks, and upper arms/legs from the Batman vs. Hush two-pack.
I wish we didn’t have to do all that part swapping, this could very easily be a great Batman by himself
I’m sure Todd will come out with a gold label Hush that has his trench coat open. I’ll wait for that one. But this two pack is very tempting

Alot of people have complained about the elbows being black despite of the render showing it being gray like in the comics however I saw reports of the batman hush figure having a gray elbow joints than black so that one is a running change to me also I still want a regular release of this figure but in blue this time since Jim Lee draw this outfit originally in blue and gray not black and gray liek we're used to.
And add 2 fist hand and a new expression

And for hush maybe new jacket that can have more articulation?

I was not going to buy this 2 pack, but when to Target yesterday saw the box set had a sticker of clearance of 14.99 on it( Obviously it was wrong).Took it to the self check and ithe girl set she was going to validate the price since the sticker was there!

Tbh the only reason why I'm getting this is because of the Batman the black and grey suit has only been my favorite. Even though they messed up his arm it's still good and great review

@@dHuntersReviews Np and I know the 3 Jokers Batman is black and grey but I feel like this one is more comic accurate because he's not as big because like Batman vs Hush (comic not movie) he was a lot more skinny which I personally like better and sorry about my bad grammar I'm young
They are both very big they are made predominantly of the same body

Those elbows are so brutal. C'mon Toddy Mac you are better than this. I love the held sculpt but lackluster looking two pack as a whole. I'm sticking with Mezco and Mafex for my DC releases as McFarlane's are far and between now except for the Mega Figs.
McFarlane’s are awesome, I prefer them to Mafex and Mezco overall, but they botched this pack.
I don't know why McFarlane keeps making Batman larger and larger, but pretty soon he'll be able to go nose-to-nose with Giganta.
Bigger is better that is his mentality I guess

@@dHuntersReviews I don't like the closed Jacket, wish one of the two figures atlease had a open jacket since we can't get the guns as supposed too pf the character itself.

Hush was the 1st Jason Todd return story (it was a fake out). It was so popular they ripped it off and retold it a year later. I hate Jason Todd so much; what an infinitely boring character…

Fixed the gloves with acetone and paint, painted the Batman year 1 head completely black and swapped it with this batman, painted the inside of the cape blue, and added more torso articulation, i cant ask for a better Batman

McFarlane has to fix all these QC issues. I just took a figure back to the store for a refund. It's unacceptable for a license like DC.
What was the problem with it? They have far fewer quality issues than their competitors from what I have experienced
@@dHuntersReviews They're still selling The Batman figure with the 2 cowls and the abdomen section flipped upside down. It had just gone back in stock at GameStop.

They have a gap and are too far down. That might be why. I remember hasbro had a lot of complaints about that. Maybe the cape being on top of the chest more would fix it
