You can take the blast effect off with some hot water and it's just pegged on with some minor glue
Yup I broke mine because it looks like it just plugged in. I can't wait to see the page punchers version of freeze, I hope he looks like an Arkham freeze because they missed the mark on this one.

@@dHuntersReviews the heat didn't work? I remember the tip of my gun coming off but I didn't use heat and it looked like a peg was in there.
Heat would work but if you go that route it’ll pull off the tip of the gun, that’s where it’s loose and will come apart.
I've been tempted a few times to pick up this Mr. Freeze. He looks good.

Ive seen review where the guy just pulled the Freeze ray out. There was not much glue holding his in I guess. Preordered this hoping I could Fudge it with my Mafex Batman Line. Do not normally buy McFarlane, but this is one of the best Mr. Freeze Designs I have seen in a while for a figure.

*Solid fig but I don’t know if I like the all white suit. Hopefully the page puncher freeze that’s rumored will have the classic black and blue colors.*

I love that you froze Batman lol I used to do that with my toys many years ago.

He's definitely a great addition to the Rogues... I raised the height on mine and made the freeze blast detachable in my review.. All and all dope fig...💀

If you watch ToyShiz' review of him the effect is easily removable even if it's supposed not to be. Guess heating that part up a little bit would be enough.
Regarding the fig I think the sculpt is ok, but the painting isn't lol. I'll just wait for McFarlane to release the Arkham City version.

Could you check his boots? On Bones' review, his figure has a boot swivel which I think would be a first for McFarlane...
Yeah, I've seen reviews from Josh From Before and Toy Shiz as well as Bones and they all showed a boot cut. It is easy to miss when you aren't looking for it though.

saw this in a TRU during my trip abroad last month, and I couldn't believe when I saw the freeze gun.. wish I picked it up.. looks fantastic...I dont usually mess with my figure's accessories but Id cut that blast effect once I get my figure.
I wish I could make it reattachable.

Some of the other reviews I've seen mentioned that the freeze effect is only attached with glue, you should hypothetically be able to remove it and reattach as you please.
It’s attached with glue at the wrong part you’ll rip off the tip of the gun if you do that.

People are angry that the ice isn't removable but I'm just happy we got it. A Mr Freeze without a freeze gun would be so lame and absolutely unacceptable. And did you actually freeze that Endless winter Batman in ice. That's dedication to making the story realistic.

I would get lore use out of it without the attachment…removable would be better. That way you can have him holding it before, during, and after him shooting.

This thing looks unpainted, did Mcfarlane really think this was the best paint scheme for Mr freeze?
I mean you can clearly see belt straps and buckles that should clearly be another colour and they have just painted over it all in one colour.
Often their sculpts are better than their paint jobs. It is a mass retail $19.99 figure.
@@dHuntersReviews then they should charge a little more, why would anyone want something so sub par? The sculpt is there but covered in one paint colour like those cheap children's toys. it's a shame when this is one of the best MF sculpts.

If they are going to add buckles and all that fine detail but then just slap it all with one paint colour then what is the point? Who wants to have to add a custom paint job on the majority of these dc figures?

Paint is good for a $19.99 figure. Definitely could’ve been metallic silver or blue. Accessories is good…

I’d be happy to pay more for better paint, but I don’t get to pick that. He’s making mass market retail toys and doing a damn good job on it. Best quality and value out there.

That’s why McFarlane is the stuff. Marvel legends are smaller, less detail, and more expensive. And they do more reuse. Hasbro is greedy.
