i wanted to ask if i could make a paste into chars and put characters in there, so it could be more organizated, but i don't know how do i put the characters from that paste i created in chars in the game.
@@Krellenos_ I found out it’s dependent on what button you use to pick the character. A,b,c,x,y,z= palette 1,2,3,4,5,and 6. start+(a,b,c,x,y,z)= palette 7,8,9,10,11, and 12

paste the downloaded character in chars then in notepad you can organize the character in order you want for the game

how do I add if the files are not in a folder?
Im playing Otanix and their is not select def file? what should i do?
maybe its hidden to a different folder. Every mugen has a select.def

This is how its done in every mugen
I did everything and recorded but the character was not loaded into Mugen.
make sure .def file name and folder name is same, also dont forget to add it in the characters in select.def
@@Krellenos_ hi, i wanted to say that when i tried to searc the select.def i couldn't find it anywhere,where the heck is that file?
@@catalinkato8106 select.def is in the main path of the file sometimes its simply just "select"

my game doesn't start when i add 1 or more characters, can anyone help me?

@@Krellenos_ i tried with 3/4 files but the game after the slides shows me black screen and then crash… i followed the tutorial step by step
