Best solution for a simple wall mount for your Bicycles in a small apartment. I purchased this mount from REI a while ago, and it's been great!

You could tie a strap through the front wheel to the downtube of the frame to stop the handlebar from spinning and rubbing the tires/brake levers against the wall if you are particular about damaging the wall's paint

I’ve thought about that. It doesn’t run the paint off, so I like to keep it without the zip tie so that I can just pick the bike up and go.
