Good Diagnosis. Normally I would say tow that Jeep POS to the junkyard, but that vehicle has been taken care of and deserves to fight on. Nice to see an old vehicle that has not been abused to death.

Just had my wife's 2021 wk2 with the V6 fixed for this issue. Could only get it to crank and not fail when using the remote start. It would always start after the fail. After 2 dealer visits they finally tested the Fuel system and found it needed the filter and sending unit. Little to no pressure, but no error codes or anything. All at only 25k miles. Crazy. I know this video is on an older Grand cherokee but hope it helps someone who is searching fort answers on a newer jeep.

I ordered one. It was $30 off retail price on Amazon today so that made the price more appealing as a tool that could get me out of a jam on a job.
If it's a job where it'll be overnight then I generally take my little $35 NOCO 1 amp charger and use that so it charges the battery and if someone were to steal it night like I would be out $100 rather $35, actually about a little less than $32.50 as I have a couple plus a 5 Amp charger. 100Amp schumacher maintainer for programming, Die Hard booster box that i've had a few years I got from Menards for about $119 before taxes at the time as it has a built in inverter, 5v USB plugs, mini compressor for airing tires up in a jam.

I have a '97 GC that's purely an off-road toy that had been parked for over 3 years. I went to start it about 6 months ago and had the EXACT same problem as this customer. I have scoured the internet for answers, but couldn't find anything definitive, but it wasn't a huge deal because the GC isn't a daily driver. I started looking into it more just a few days ago.
