@@Cassiopeee670 Yes it's very similar with the X, comes locked and limited, but supports also unlocking. When it's unlocked it has a lot of torque and power, it feels very similar with the X and this one is also lighter so it accelerates even faster.

Great review! I'm going to purchase the C20 Pro - but it looks like ENGWE has better build quality than a lot of similarly priced Chinese ebikes (I had a nightmare with a SAMEBIKE folding bike, the motor failed within 2 days).
This bike is very similar to my bike in looks. I have air suspension in the front and a 203 rotor in the front and 180 in the back. My bike just has straight handlebars. 48 volt batterry and 24 amp hours. I am in the uk so restricted to 15.5mph. I also have a throttle to assist me to that speed which cuts out when it reaches that speed.

You could cover it with something when you leave it for a longer time with no battery. Also add water repelent special grease for electrical terminals.

I would stay away from the Fiido version, they used to broke in half from catastrophic frame failure. They do claim to "fixed it" with a newer version, but then again they have a history with this issue on other models as-well.
Hi there 👋. Could you share your thoughts on those 2 big holes where cables are connecting to a controller on the bottom? All the water and mud from the front wheel goes right inside that hole. So controller and cables will be always wet. I think its a design flaw. Planning to cover it with silicone etc.

As I see there are scratches on the frame. Does it scratches so easily? I wanted a green bike, but if it scratches, then black must be a better option because it's easier to repair paint.

I've just received mine and did 40km range and battery died.... I used level 4 and 5 assist with sometimes just throttle... And not max settings, middle settings... I will write to the company because they claim 140km LMAO

These throttles are compatible with the display and the controller so they really need to match. If Engwe officially told you that they do not have another compatible throttle then definitely they don't have one.

Yes you can ride it by only using the throttle, you need to unlock that first. The power also goes up from the "standard" 250W. I have uploaded some extra videos about that and how to do it.
Has anyone answered your question about the real practical differences between the EU 250W & International 750W versions...like trying to get bl00d from a stone. As far as I can tell, there are significant differences in the way one accesses the menu on the display, which is not explained by the company, when they're still giving customers the OLD instructions for that display...not good & which causes confusion & lock outs...
250 is road legal and 750w it's not,750w classified like moped and you need to have license and pay tax 😂 off course probably no one will check this if you not riding like crazy maniac with high speed at the front of Police Car,you may have problems If you have accident with car and you didn't register your bike in proper way,it's a fraud,fine in UK I believe Is 300£,bike probably will be confiscated by police.
@@ajacks1349the 250w motor is the same 750w motor yes. Output is locked to 250w electronically from factory. No one wants a 250w bike. They want the powerful 750w one, and Engwe realised this. The E26 is also the same idea. The new L20 Boost even has a throttle sensor now :)
Why is it not wise, it's a dedicated non branded display held up in screws. It's not like a Garmin GPS to attract thieves. This display will only work with a dedicated controller such as the one found on the L20.
I just got mine, and did nowhere near the claimed range of 140km ! False advertisement from ENGWE. I know range can vary from rider and conditions, but I got only 40km out of this bike... and only 25km on max settings...... Very very disappointed... All the rest is pretty good, except some gears jumping but this I'm sure I can adjust... I will be writing a complain to the company, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT !
The claimed range is obtainable under special conditions such as using only assisted mode 1, 25°C temperature, no wind, tire pressure is maximum for their rating, brakes are adjusted not to drag, rider has 55-65kg maximum, etc. It's normal if you unlock the bike to deplete the battery in 25km.

Crazy thing, like in Norway this would not be legal.. Cause it has the ability to not be legal. If it's not blocked to ONLY 25km pr hour and max 250w power with pedal assist ONLY it wont be legal here.
The bike is legal if you don't mess with it. It comes locked and you can get an EU certificate for it. In my reviews I like to squeeze all the performance so I can better showcase how it works.

As a adult you still can only have 250w on a bike, and it can not have a trottle on it. it can be pedal assist ONLY. so if a bike has the ability to choose between trottle or assist , it's not legal here. it's so silly. . But great video. I'm buying a fatbike next month, so I just been watching lot's and lot's of videos about electric bikes latly. =)
Yes I truly understand you. I have lots of kids riding rent scooters with no knowledge of laws and traffic, yet the rules for bikes state 250W/25km/h. Yet I'm still lucky as this doesn't apply for any kind of road that is not public, so you can still unlock and have fun.

you'll be ghost pedaling at 7th speed running around 32km/h, so yeah it'll be too fast.

At about 30km/h you can still pedal ok, faster than that the cadence is to high.

The paint is just like any other matte paint, mine was damaged and scratched during transport.
