Yes with some motherboards it can be a issue, especially on the older ones where power was limited to 500mA. Newer MB will do 1A and even more, depending on the brand.

@@TechTronic9000 Even my Asus Z790 Hero cant deliver enough power to the Arion via USB A (Same for my Chromebooks and my Homelab). Its just on the edge when you also have a power hungry SSD inside. And the problem are the RGB LEDs. They will always power on for a second on any device and thats when it uses too much power and disconnects again.

Assistance stops at 25km/h, the throttle takes you to 35km/h. The throttle on the international version also gives more power that the assisted mode.

@@TechTronic9000 my point was, we have silly rules here in norway when it comes to electric bikes. like, you can have a 12 year old on a electric scooter with 1500w and a trottle, and that's fine. As a adult you still can only have 250w on a bike, and it can not have a trottle on it. it can be pedal assist ONLY. so if a bike has the ability to choose between trottle or assist , it's not legal here. it's so silly. . Yes I truly understand you. I have lots of kids riding rent scooters with no knowledge of laws and traffic, yet the rules for bikes state 250W/25km/h. Yet I'm still lucky as this doesn't apply for any kind of road that is not public, so you can still unlock and have fun.

Range will vary from a lot of things, such as rider weight, speed, incline, temperature, tire pressure, assistance level, etc.

Are you kidding?! 45km/h on a 250W certified EU bike that was locked to 25km/h? This is better than a dream.

Yes this bike in particular comes with a a 36/48V compatible controller. The motor will also go fine on 48V. The performance will see a large boost in speed, acceleration and range.

Sadly the bike is "hard locked", to be able to properly program it you will need a can bus interface box and specialized cable which are hard to find for the M200 motor and rather expensive. I recommend to go on Gigabyte's site and check the BIOS history, there were several upgrades that needed first another specific version fist. Check that out and then you can use a USB drive and update correspondingly directly from BIOS options, it's much more reliable that way.

You usually get a booklet with these details, also in this case it comes mostly configured.

Probably will do ~50km/h, depending on the wheel diameter. For going faster you will need to go higher in voltage.

There are so many tools on the market that I think that copying Bosh was the least thing to do. They are just buget tools that have above other quality and are back-up by a solid 3-5 year warranty.
