Great guide, very helpful and much appreciate.. Can I ask you what sort of range you get on Boost with this modification? And how does it compare to Boost mode without the modification? I find my Boost mode gives me 47km range usually, according to the computer.
The range varies a lot and doesn't correspond with the estimated one from the display.The level of power remains the same, but assisting you over 25km/h takes much more power, especially the faster you go. So keeping a fast 35-40km/h will drain it definitely quicker.
Hey , love the trick . Do the automatic shifting hub remains exactly the same ??? Switching shifts normally as before ? Because if not then it is not worth it.
Yes the automated hub still works normal, it uses all gears and changes at the same real speed 0-15km/h 1st gear, 15-20km/h 2nd and 20+ 3rd gear. The only thing is now you will still be assisted when going over 25km/h.
