This is Gond Katora, not normal gond. It's taseer is cool and it's used in summers only.
This is not gondh. Edible gondh is called Gum Arabica which dissolves in water. This is gondh kateera aka Gum Dragon, it expands in water. While Gum Arabica is hot in nature Gum Dragon is cool in nature.
I use Gond katira to remove heat from the body. It always works.

If there is 90 gm carb in 100 gm gond katira than how can calories be 200 gm. Isnt 1 gm carb equal to 4 calories

Good question .. out of 90 g carb 80 g is fiber mostly soluble. We took 2 calorie for fiber to arrive at this number. Online you will see 300 kcal per 100g
