But they deal with odd questions and assumptions because he’s quadriplegic, and she’s able-bodied. In this Why I’m In It conversation with Great Big Story’s Courtney Coupe, the interabled couple behind the CZcams vlog Roll with Cole & Charisma talk about how they met and fell in love, address some of the misconceptions people have about their relationship and imagine where they’ll be in five years. I was a cna i know the medical world most of the single white older widowed men and young men when they get disabled or in rehab or in position where they dont have options they will marry or date black woman i even know of some who used to work for the men then the woman quit the home health agency because she married or is dating the white man....but black woman we been around for centuries u just now noticing us????? I asked 1 white man he said a lot of white woman dont want to be a maid or caregiver and ethnic woman can be more nuturing..there was a white man on utube who said his white wife divorced him cause he got disabled and dont want to be a maid....come on now people u cant tell me u dont get what im saying......i cant get a amen anywhere people get so hurt by truth....

You are implying she is less than because she is black.Cole discusses that in a previous clip, they may not have met had he not had the accident because they met during his physical therapy.But he says if you think he wouldnt love her if he could walk, that's b.s. because you are saying Charisma is less than because she is black and hes "settling" for her. What Cole said about the unexpectedness of life made me ponder. When you think about it, it's uncanny! In 1 year, he went from finding his (maybe) future wife, having a CZcams channel with nearly 160 000 subscribers, doing interviews on bigger platforms..! Thank you Charisma for including mental disorders as a disability when you were listing types of disabilities. I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair and I also have a mental disorder. Two very different disabilities. It's hard because my wheelchair is so visible but the mental part is invisible and sometimes that's the hardest thing I deal with. And people don't see that as a disability. Unfortunately it still has a stigma attached. I loved your interview. There is no doubt that the two of you are in love. My 23-year marriage is not doing as well but my disabilities are not to blame. That's not our problem. Thanks guys!🍃🦋🍃

Thanks for mentioning invisible disabilities. I have intractable epilepsy and some of my seizures you couldn’t see but I can feel them or those really close to me know I’m having a seizure. I would very much be in an interabled relationship someday and you guys have given me so much hope. 💜

Oh Gosh. You can't please everyone. If you don't like a word than use a different one. Inter-able is a word that allows others to easily identify and search for videos when looking for information. C&C have addressed this lots of times.
I just discovered their page here on CZcams and am hooked. Like literally . I love them both for who they truely are .I absolutely dont pity Cole at all . He is so positive (well am sure he definitely has his downs like any normal person) but he is just so out there even with his condition and hence that's why I respect him so much because at the end of the day , it has to be that person who wants to embrace the world and live life to the fullest .anyone can have tons and tons of support from family and friends or their partner ,but that person has to be strong enough and willing to embrace it all and that's Cole ❤. Charisma is a jem and an angel sent from above to Cole for sure . They are the epitome of soulmates 🦄💙🦄

I have advocated for individuals with disabilities for 25 years & I love it 🥰. I love being an ambassador for the caregivers because if you take care of the caregivers they’ll be at their best for those w disabilities.
