I never knew Bruce Springsteen was such a nice down to earth bloke. I saw him on another video where he told a story about making friends with a kid at a cinema and going back to his house meet the kids mom and they had eggs. The kid went to get his album to show his mom it was really him. I’d only ever seen him on stage before. Such a cool fella.❤
He is without the most kindest person ever, so down to earth too. Thanks for all the music over the past 50 years 😮 As for being 72 you look better than most 40 year olds. My top tune from you is "im on fire" 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I am from NJ. I lived in Belmar until 1990. I moved south after they closed the bar I was working at for 7 years. Mary's Husband's Pub. I met Bruce a few times. Nice guy. The last time I said hi was in a club on Palm Beach. Clarence used to play there. Bruce showed up one night and played. That was in the late 90s.
You know he’s living in Colts Neck now. Horse farm near the old Harmony Hills golf course. I was surprised when he said Rt. 34, that was near my house too. In Holmdel
I was at the Saturday Wembley show - July 6 I think, Week before Live Aid. The one where he told the crowd :"I'm gonna be 36 soon. How long can this go on?"
@@TheBent139 What do you mean - so you look like Bruce Springsteen now..? No, just kiddin. But you think Bruce is currently under a certain hormone treatment ( which you are also / same therapy )? What would that be, how is it working? Hope you don't mind my asking, I'm just interested. ( Pls don't mind any bad English - I'm no native speaker )
@@Vivarius_RLPBY Testosterone therapy helps with preventing belly fat and muscular degeneration and all sorts of issues with aging. It also certainly helps to have a workout routine. Most men's T levels drop as they age. At least outwardly, the aging process slows for many who use this therapy. I am lucky to have access to this treatment.
The guitar is priceless and man can b Springsteen tell a story but when he performs Springsteen shines. With his written songs of heart ache and life. Great performer. Wouldn’t be considered a guitarist of note.
Ich hatte das Vergnügen Bruce Springsteen und seine E Street Band letztes Jahr auf den Hockenheim Ring zu sehen und ich bekomme auch heute noch Gänsehaut wenn ich daran denke. On this Day a dream became a reality
I had a Stratocaster that I own since I was 12. It was a 1980 Stratocaster. It was new. When it was 35 years old I broke the neck right in half. I have 31 guitars now. None of them will ever replace what that Stratocaster turn to me into. When I got it I could barely play. When I broke it? I was a force to be reckoned with
I believe the body was originally an Esquire, which has just one pup in the bridge (no neck pup). However, all Teles are routed for neck pups, so adding one is no big deal, which is what Bruce did with this Esquire, making it a Telecaster.
WMMR in Philly, Ed Schiake (sp) would invite the new talent Bruce Springsteen into the studio to play early acoustic versions of his new songs. Springsteen really captured the times, the cool, humid magical nights and kids hanging out, romancing with their cars parked.
Man that guitar has seen it all! And imagine the stories it could tell!. I've seen him and the E Street band more than half a dozen times ,from MSG to Nassau Colliseum, to the Barclay.. Greatest band in the land!
I brought a fender mustang when I was 16, I worked so hard and saved my money to buy it, it was stolen when I was 21 It was my pride and joy I’m 58yrs now
I saw Bruce in 1973 in a basement theater of a dorm at Villanova University. There weren’t many people there but he and the E Street Band were great . Their first album came out a few months later .
No disrespect but...maybe it was 1972 ? The reason I say that is Greetings From Astbury Park was released the first week of January 1973 the same day as Aerosmith's debut album. Both on Columbia Records.
I've had my old Tele for 31 years, shes not travelled as far nor is she as famous as BS's but I've loved her since the day i saw her hanging in the store...worked overtime for 2 months to get her.
185 bucks.... wow... Some other musicians pay thousands of dollars for their instruments, and the boss himself plays a guitar, he bought when he was 22 yrs old... Wow! ❤
He got that guitar and he learned how to make it talk. 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎶
Bruce is a great writer and showman. He isn't a monstrous guitarist, but Nils Lofgren and Steve Van Zant are.
He sucks at guitar.
No, he learned how to make it sing!
@carado1984 Ah Cardero so sorry you're upset. In order to get accolades, you actually have to do something! And what is it you actually Do?
@twylabrooks8263 I'm not upset. He's just not a good guitar player. It's obvious.
So that’s possibly one of the most famous guitars of all time…. Right there 😊
Man, please make me look like this man when I am 72
It would be super weird if you turned 72 and suddenly looked like Bruce Springsteen

He’s not! He has a severe case of TDS
The story goes every time he come to town he visited that kid and he have the same meal. Went on for many years
He is without the most kindest person ever, so down to earth too.

You can buy relic-ed guitars that look like this, kinda pricey though

@daveholyoak7472 well open your eyes and clean the $hit out of your ears
Saw him 4th July, Wembley Stadium 1985, “Born in the USA” tour. Still the best gig I’ve ever been to. The Boss!

@@Imw101We were on the centre line. // Leeds was the one where my missus said ' he's got eyes for Patti....yeah right & she was !!
I'm surprised he wasn't in America for that date of the tour. Would've made more sense. Love how he gives his all. Iconic six string.
He looks amazing at 72💥
He'll be 75 in September
I didn't look that good at 22😂
