- It's now April 2024 and some neighbors from across the country shared more Ring Doorbell videos with us showing people doing what they usually do when they think no one is watching.

Why is it people notice the thieves taking packages,but not the actual delivery of it?
That’s a good question. I never thought about it.
@@VictorVictor-oq6dh A lot of reasons: at work, didn't think to have it delivered to a safe place, didn't hear the notification that it was delivered, can't come to the door at that moment (in the bath, coloring hair, watching a Soufflé, having a nap, too lazy...
I do agree that when they are home and get the drop-off notification, that it should be taken inside immediately.

I've asked that on here a few times. One thing is UPS ,Amazon and Fed-X are like Navy Seals. They get in and out so fast you don't know they've been there.

Take the handle off your outside faucet... it comes off with one screw.

This is why me, my 2A, and my dog patrol our neighborhood. These sorts of incidents have gone _down_ and have almost stopped since we started.

I'm on board with you too. My friend. I don't like apartment buildings either. Too many people too crowded but I think this is where we're going. Cause people are not buying houses anymore. So they're building part one buildings. They're popping up everywhere, like jack-in-the-boxes.
After watching video after video, I'm glad I live way out in the country. Even though a neighbor just blew away a porch private last week.
One things for sure if I ever get a ring doorbell camera I'm definitely gonna have it super glued right beside the door. Then it would make it hard for people to steal it.

I have watched enough Doorbell News to say is, if your home, in your house and the delivery guy rings your doorbell to let you know there is a delivery or a notification on your phone saying your package is delivered and it's been 30ish minutes, and you still have not went outside to get it. I don't feel sorry for you if your package is taken.
If they have a pkg on porch. Get it..before They do.

Kids that rip off doorbell cams are just disrespectful punks, but when adults do it... it's more than likely something sinister like taking it off then come back later to break in. For the kids I got the belt, but for adults get the 2A locked and loaded.
