I feed my fox every night, he sits in my backyard promptly at sunset waiting for me to feed him. Very polite, won’t eat what I give him until I tell him.

Racoons are far more likely to be infected with rabies than any dog you know.
They are wild animals, not domesticated.
Not to mention several other parasites that can infect humans but don't bother the raccoons.
You can usually tell when an animal has rabies. And those Raccoons didn't look or act like they did. Plus I bet it wasn't the first time of them coming to the door

First clip that man was definately not from the Bronx, based on his accent and saying he owns 45 acres. Weird.
People really shouldn't feed wildlife (e.g. raccoons, pigeons, etc). They don't need your help! I had, shall we say, "eccentric" neighbours who would buy dog kibble to feed raccoons and also fed pigeons. They weren't bad neighbours otherwise, but I was glad when they left.
