I actually think it was a fight as well and he was kicked out and they thought he walked home and discovered the news that AM. I do not think they intended this result or would have cruelly left him, but that it was an accident and they just let someone else take the fall

You know that over the 3 days there’s no court in session, Matt will tell Jenn all about the texts and they are going to be very busy practicing her answers (I’m very sure the rest of the participants watched the entire thing)
O M G Legal Theatre at its FINEST! I was at work listening couldn't watch (phone in pocket) and could only sneak a couple of comments in the live. But I heard the change in Yannetti. He was asking questions very very rapidly and would change the subject on a dime. Then he would ask a whole string of 'yes' questions very rapidly. Then confusing questions. He really kept Matty on his heels. Didnt care and kept pissing Aunty Bev off. Acted incompetent. Then attacked. Then he fumbles the question and 'accidentally' skips a line....whoops! 'Lemme go back Im sorry' Then bumbling like he forgot to give Bev and Matty all of the text printouts (poor Lally had them )....making Matty sweat while he waited and didn't give Bev a heads up...made her go on record! 'Oh My Gosh' (as Matty wiped the sweat from his face during the sidebar...what did Yannetti say to Bev to get the texts admitted??? (Eff around and find out is my guess?)... 02148 LOL..... I was dying! I could not even breathe, I knew something was coming...Then he dropped the bomb...☠... Yannetti nailed it!!! 🎆❤🔥
I have watched this part 4X since I got home. Yay Karen!!! I saw her with the printouts and not gonna lie...I cried a few tears of relief and joy for her. Still can't breathe.

What angers me in this case is the Prosecutor KNOWS their witnesses are lying. They know the jurors see it. They know the judge allows it.They know the media is reporting it and yet, they continue through this charade. Meanwhile, there sits the defendant, who *may well be* guilty, but if she is, you don’t have to lie about facts.
Why lie, when the truth reveals the case? Why not show up in force when you told a body has been found on your front lawn!? Why not just state EVERYBODY’S name who were at the house when you arrived home prior to a devastating g event? Why send texts telling the others what to say, to anybody?! Who cares if it’s to investigators or the media!
If I were sat in that jurors box listening to this, I would be angry. Wasting my life sitting there listening to people lie to my face would send me over the edge.

Does anyone else feel he was videotaping the text messages while the light was on? At the end it appears he turns off something but the light is still on a second or so

My friend was a juror on a drug case and wanted to convict and another juror who disagreed got mad and kicked her! Bullying other jurors absolutely does happen.
Did your friend say something to the court officers? If not, she should've.

Jen kept looking at the jury with her answers. Reminiscent of Amber Heard. In my opinion she is an extreme narcissist.
To me she came across as a very cold person that followed a script. Her eyes were emotionless and her script included all the points to blame Karen together like saying she was screaming did I kill him and I broke my tail light in the same f phrase. I hope these people are brought to justice and pay for their crimes.

When I went to jury duty in MA, no one could bring a phone into the courthouse.
Those group text are provided by FBI (see the omitted footers) and Bev has an issue over the FBI formatting.

I actually am disgusting with all of them including Aunt Bev. When Yanetti said which bubble and she said, the 2nd bubble I'm not allowing in and Yanetti said, I need to be heard on it then.. She then sighed.. WTF! That is so unprofessional for starters and then she never sighs when Lally talks about the weather, the apron in front of the firehouse or the snow at 12am and 6am on the scene with every witness. I also can't believe she wasn't going to allow the text in that she changed her mind on about "The guy never entering the house". Then both McCabes but especially Jen saying John was their friend and she calls him JJ but she calls him a man and Matt calls him a "guy".. seriously?! These people are all so disgusting and disgraceful. Their parents must be so proud.. loosahs!

I just want to make a point if John died of hypothermia he must to be alive for a while and exposed to the cold. That means someone could save him. And another point that yard it’s a small yard,I had a bigger yard in my house with a circle drive in and I could control from one point the whole yard. We are not talking about acres in the front of the lawn it’s very small and if John was there about 12:30 to 1 when Karen left in the yard people could easily trip on him.
In my opinion he was place outside at 2:00 later search how long to died in the cold front a participant on the crime. I hope all these family members are treated like accomplices.
If that was the last place she had seen him why was she outside of the Albert’s House? That doesn’t make sense especially since they were being expected to show up to the party. One witness already said they saw him in the car with her pulling up to the Albert’s. They can’t get their lies straight, and for them to be policeman, they all have the same exact story down to a T !

They only checked two neighbors both police both said nothing to see. So no video. But they did not put out a bulletin asking for anyone with video to come forward. They never asked anyone for video showing Karen Reads car on the way home. There were many people that had them but were never asked by police. so they deleted them.

Matthew McCabe says he could see the broken tail light He said he never came out of the house and only looked out his bedroom window. In my opinion, there would be no way to see a broken tail light when the vehicle was parked front end towards the house. This was the morning Karen came to his house looking for John. Also, nothing has been mentioned of tire tracks or footprints in the snow. I would have thought there would be.
I was stuck on the fact that he claimed he heard Karen on the phone with Jen because Jen answered the phone on speaker phone. Who does that when their husband is asleep next to them first thing in the morning?
Jackson spends a considerable amount if time trying to.trip.people up and jumble there words and put words in their mouths.

A car colliding with a person does a lot more damage to the car than cracking the taillight though and also does different damage to the person than John had (lower body injuries usually)
@@katejarman4598 Absolutely, buckled panels, possibly cracked windows etc, and of course, the injuries John had don't match with a collision, but from 'being roughed up'... I think the fallout from this case will be interesting...

Nicole Albert testified that the dog is still alive, that she knows exactly where it is and that she gave that address and contact information to the prosecution. I have no idea why the defense did not press further into exactly when she supposedly provided that information to the prosecution and why it was never disclosed to the defense despite it being information explicitly requested in a discovery motion that was approved by the court.

Did everyone notice Johns brother put his left hand on top of his head when door matt was asked about taking a picture .when the camera pans out you will see him put his hand on his head. To me that mean Oh S!ht.
I wish they would've shown John O'Keefes family members when it was read that he, in a text to them, said, "Tell them the guy didn't come into the house." And Brians response."Exactly!"
John needed directions to get to the Albert’s house. Jen spoke to John giving him directions as to where the Albert’s house was. He didn’t know where the Albert’s house was. And Karen only recalls leaving John at The Waterfall according to Jen’s testimony. Karen wouldn’t want to go to Fairview and be adamant about going to look there if in her mind she left John at the bar. Jen testified to this that she had to inform Karen she saw them outside the Albert’s home.
Karen wouldn’t even know the street name “Fairview” if she didn’t remember going there. Why would she state over and over to Jen that she needed to go to Fairview if she told Jen she only remembers leaving him at the bar.
I think Karen knew she dropped John off there, knew she didn’t leave him at the Waterfall, two people testified they possibly saw her in her car alone outside the home. Fairview was the last place Karen saw John and she wanted to go there to see if he was still there. She contacts Jen to see if she could help her because she didn’t know the Albert’s. Same reason she didn’t want to go to their house in the first place unless she knew it was ok to go inside and there was an actual invite. Not just your friends inviting you into someone’s house you’ve never been to before.
Instead Jen and the other woman wanted to go back to John’s house to make sure he wasn’t home first. Stalling possibly? Not sure…
That is me I haven’t watched anything except when you said it was the biggest case, I started watching trial after opening and it looks to me like two women scorned and hateful not two friends trying to help come on Jen never helped
