I bet elsewhere on CZcams, there is a video from the other guy in the elementary school who freaks out when he sees a stranger peeking around the corner at the end of the hallway.
yeah i can remember seeing it somewhere else hard to recall but i think it's from a channel called "Bizarrebub" or something like that
@@randomguy.-_-. Could be staged
@@randomguy.-_-.fr? That’s what I was thinking… for that clip & the other one of the dudes at the abandoned asylum who saw a light shut off on the other side of the courtyard I could easily see that being another explorer getting freaked out & freezing in fear / shutting the light off. I’ve gone urban exploring a lot & I’ve also squatted with people when I was using meth & I can tell you it gets freaky seeing strangers in these places in either position whether you’re an explorer or a squatter… 9 times out of 10 realistically the other person doesn’t mean any harm & they’re just exploring themselves or they’re homeless seeking shelter… but there’s always that off chance you’ve ran into a psycho like that sick fuck who kidnapped that girl & I think our minds instantly jump to the worst case scenario… especially when you’re up for a week on meth & experiencing sleep deprivation psychosis lmao. I remember when I was squatting I went upstairs from the basement this chick & I were staying in there were 2 people outside the door to the outside & I was so tweaked out standing behind the stairwell trying to discern if they were cops, or a hallucination, or what!… after what felt like an hour or something I finally mustered the courage to creep closer to the door to figure out they were just dope addicts looking for a spot to shoot up lol. We invited them in & let them have the upstairs & ordered a pizza that night🤣 still got them added on Facebook I’m in recovery now… as for that dude who chased those teens to their car I could easily see him being in the position I was in last year & instead of trying to stake out the situation from afar trying to judge friend or foe & rationalize that they’re not a threat he went into fight or flight mode & decided to fight for his territory… you know if those two dope addicts had came inside the abando being loud & obnoxious we were in it would’ve definitely made me a thousand times more stressed out than I was in the position I was in being able to watch them from afar judging if they were a threat or not… crack, meth, & sleep deprivation really fucks with you & ppl start to have these delusions they’re being gangstalked & shit & fear for their life…

Believe it or not everything is real
If you are a homeless person staying in an abandoned building and a crowd of rowdy teenagers shows up at night, and you're scared because you don't know their intentions, act as deranged and spooky as possible so they run, run, run as fast as they can 😂
We used to act deranged & spooky as possible if some jerk guy was trying to pick us up😂
It works! LoL
or don't be a p.o.s. homeless person
@@annahgibbus8 Don't. If you come across as too unstable, a predator might mark you as a target for assault if they believe your testimony won't hold up in court (due to mistaking you for an unreliable narrator). You don't know what a creep's true intentions might be.
@@JohnGardnerAlhadis
Nothing would get to court. This was 40 years ago in my dating days when we all had balls & wouldn't put up with anything.
If they kept it up we'd have the bouncer or a biker kick them out of the bar😉

It pays to be a regular at your favorite bar. LoL
Applies more if you're a brit. Might get you shot if you're 'murican.
I feel so sorry for people in these situations, can't even imagine how vulnerable and unprotected you'd feel living like this
The fact that the mannequin suddenly fell - by itself - makes it worse than being an actual person 😂
czcams.com/users/shortsBmc9NFfhx74?si=6XyEugEBTuSb01UO
It didn't fall by itself. His buddy in the stall next to it pulled the string he tied around its ankle to make it fall, right on queue. All his videos are staged. They're still entertaining, like a horror movie is, but cmon, this dude is supposedly the only urban exploration channel that runs into spooky shit in every single video? Nah, fake.
it makes it worse than being a real video
Yea it looks like it fell forward first or it's knees buckled lmao creeped me right out. How do these ppl do this alone and why do I choose to watch this stuff alone in my attic at night
@@KT06 why in a attic out of all places lol
I really appreciate the respect of the guy in the last clip. He didnt play up some "ooooooh spooky" story, he just acknowledged what had likely happened and used it to send out a good reminder.
The last one completely shattered my heart. Nobody should go out like that.
True. This clip was more sad than scary.
agreed. I didn't want to cry today, but here I am.
One of my coworkers bought an alarm necklace for his elderly mother to wear in case something like this happened to her. He overheard her telling one of her friends that she wasn't going to wear it because she didn't like the looks of it, and he lost it and read her the riot act. She should be shown this video.
@@tacoheadmakenzie9311 He should. And a riot act? What’s that?

Sometimes people do get scared for real. Exploring creepy abandoned places put you on the edge of your toes and any slight anomaly can send you into panic mode.
Well he is freaking out while saying sorry lol
As for the second one, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve bumped into other explorers while in abandoned hospitals. There’s always an air of distrust and unease from both parties and most will avoid eachother like the plague, wary of the other’s intentions when most of the time we’re all just dorks exploring lmfao

@@svenrawandreloadedI’m not an UrbEx dude but surely there’s subreddits and other sites and boards all of these mfs can come up with a code word with each other.

Where I live it’s usually an exchange of small talk - nice day for it/seen any security?/how is (name of other location nearby)? etc.
Homeless people got the most balls. The fact they can just go to an abandoned building and stay there the entire night shocks me lol
That's literally what I was saying in my head like I would never if I was homeless☠️ i would be too scared 😭
Such a shame about the old lady dying alone like that and a very sad scene for those explorers to come across. She must have been so scared. RIP 😢
even sadder is that her relatives came over to go trough her stuff
did they ever care about her when she was alive or visit her or help her. they cared after she died and only about her belongings....

The strangers came out in 2008 and the girl was kidnapped in 2006. That backpack was not hers and the police would never ever leave that at the scene. Also, Jessica Coleman was shot and her body was found a pile of railroad ties by railroad workers- not in a church.
Love that movie
That is NOT 'Vinson Filyaw's house. He lived in trailer, and the bunker where he held Elizabeth Shoaf was dug out the ground in the middle of a forest.
@@eccIefechan exactly my point. I didn’t think it was I just did enough research to know that the dvd and backpack were most definitely not hers. You are fully correct though.

In regards to that last one, when I was a kid, me and the family were leaving the house late one evening on a rainy day. Due to the weather no one was out and wouldn't be for the remainder of the night, my dad swore he heard someone calling for help, I couldn't hear anything, neither could my mom but my dad persisted, sure enough about 5-6 houses down an elderly woman had fallen in her front porch and couldn't get back up. Dad got her up and to dry inside her house and called an ambulance. We visited her once or twice since then to see how she was recovering. No telling how long she would have layed there, getting rained on all night if my dad hadn't thought he heard something.
You dad might have saved her life that night. What an incredibly honorable thing to do.

The last video brings a whole different feeling to me now. Last week I heard my downstairs neighbor banging and saying help (he’s elderly with Parkinson’s) I ran down and he gave me the combination to his lock box that had his key and I was able to go inside. He fell and broke his hip and had been laying there going in and out of conciseness while banging and yelling for help. His life alert necklace was on the charger as well as his phone, both well out of reach. He’s out of surgery and recovering now but I’m really glad he didn’t end up like the lady in the last clip.

The message of the last clip is important. I can see why the family didn’t want to gather her stuff. Check in on your loved ones.
I understand. However, if they truly cared then it’s horrible to just keep everything there to rot instead of saving it all somewhere or donating it. That house could easily be renovated for someone else instead of breaking down slowly to eventually get squatters and become vandalized then possibly end up collapsing over time. I find that disgusting.
@@EternalRiver90 “if they truly cared” yes it sucks they left everything to rot. But I don’t know anyone that would be able to work in the home their loved one died alone, with a perfect stain of where they rotted,
@@almathetiredone9167 What? That actually doesn’t make sense. Obvs they wouldn’t be alone, that would be stupid. They’d get help from someone or if anything, sell the house to the state and let them take care of it somehow. Just because you don’t know anyone who would work on the home doesn’t automatically mean there wouldn’t be anyone on the entire planet who would be willing to do it. Also... perfect stain of where they rotted?! You must be trolling bc that’s such a fucked up thing to say.
@@EternalRiver90in the last clip there is a stain on the carpet in the house that perfectly outlines where a woman unfortunately passed away. Sad but true.

Your videos are freaking awesome my guy and the campers in the woods is what made me follow you but hell yeah great stuff keep it up hoss 👍🏻
Crazy that the school only closed in 2015. You would think it would be longer based off the terrible shape it’s in.
You’d be surprised how fast buildings will decline without maintenance… usually they’ll hit a plateau cuz they’re brick & mortar buildings & they’ll remain in the same shape after 40 years once everything else is looted/rotted away in the first decade.
Also factor in the condition it may have been in before that. A lot of older public schools are pretty beat up while they’re in use. Funding probably flagged before the school was closed. And then the presence of squatters and explorers would account for more of the mess.
2015 was almost 10 years ago. looks like 10 years of abandonment to me.

Sound engineering student here. There is no way the disturbance of the soundwave could've caused the figure to fall 4:25. Don't get confused with big PA systems where the output is over 80dB SPL and you're dealing with sub frequencies that you can clearly feel. Why no one ever does explorations with night vision goggles instead of using a giant lightbeam and pinpointing their location.
Well, imagine they walk in on a homeless person in the dark. Couldn't even blame the homeless person to get startled so much they attack the explorer in self-defense.

That body stain brings back memories. All the caretaking service did was not call the police when my mother didn't open the door for them, but they didn't since she had just changed the service provider for it. The weekend passed. On monday the fire dept broke down the back door and found her. After 3 winter days in the warmth of the radiators, you can imagine the state of decomposition. It takes surprisingly little time for stains like that to appear, not seeing your loved ones for even 3 days can already lead to this. Many old people are too thickheaded to carry an emergency buzzer around their neck, like my mother was. I was very aware of that reality while removing the flooring that had absorbed that stain and all the blood that seeps out of the body after death. If your old folks are in danger of falling or badly ill, make sure they live with someone, or always carry their emergency buzzers around with them, but sadly, this is how many go.
My mom forgets to wear hers. I check and visit she lives close.

I really appreciate how you don’t try to embellish things for the sake of appealing to the lowest common denominator. It’s always frustrating when people have no critical thinking skills (or at least pretend not to).
It’s nice to have a horror video youtuber who doesn’t act like obviously fake videos are real, and who straight up gives the logical explanation behind what happens in the videos. You don’t try to pass anything paranormal off as genuine. None of that “I don’t know guys, it might be fake but I think it could also be real” crap.
Too many of the old horror CZcamsrs have completely sold out for the sake of getting views from kids.

URBEX HILL's videos are likely staged. Because most of the time things like this only happen to him and his reactions seem fake. In reality, anyone who encountered that dark silhouette would quickly leave the place and be very scared. The reason these happen in night videos is to increase credibility and fear.
Exactly.
They are!
I really dislike content creators who do that. I hope him and his buddy who helps him stage this stuff show up to a building some night and there's an actual Skinwalker in there.
I don’t think they’re staged, but it could be. Like when he saw the homeless guy crouching down, that’s real
I don't know what it was, but I had this strong sense the dark silhouette was edited in.
And I didn't understand that, because you could easily have a buddy or whatever do that. But maybe due to the lighting it would be too clear who it was and the clothing etc. Just having a dark blob move is obviously much scarier (sarcasm).
The fact that these things actually can happen, that I don't dispute, but his video there seemed disingenuous.

As an older woman who is alone a lot & walking troubles, that last one genuinely destroyed me. I fucking hated this video.
Do you have relatives or friend you are in contact with daily? Because if you have contacts like that, even if they are further away, if something happens and they are used to speaking/writing to you every day, they will know something isn't right. It can also make sense to set up your phone so that you can speak to an AI like Alexa if there is a problem and you can't reach it to have her call a certain number or even set it up to have her call the police or an ambulance. Take care. :)
Many smart watches these days have fall detection, and other features that can automatically call emergency services for you. A few months ago, my sister passed out in the bathroom and her watch called an ambulance!
Be sure to keep a phone on you or at least on the ground. My grandma kept the second phone of her landline on the ground for just such an occasion and it saved her life.
My dad lived alone after my stepmom passed and he had a really hard time walking as well and fell ALOT, when he wasn't answering the phone one day after several attempts my brother and I went to his house and yes he had fallen and broke his neck and was unable to move, it was very heartbreaking to see, he ended up passing 2 months later, my advice is to get a smart watch keep on your wrist at all times so u can get help immediately or get life alert and keep it around your neck

3:35 - 'Chris draws his gun.' If you somehow didn't believe this was the US, there's your proof.
Or the fact that the school is literally named after paul revere 🤔🤔
Yeah? So what?
Its a crime to let these buildings fall into such disrepair
Then do something about it
Taxes my dude. Cheaper to lay abandoned than have operate and repaired. I see it as free real estate
It’s beautiful in a way tho ngl
Gotta leave something for the future archeologists.
The first video felt staged as hell. The mannequin part had me raising my eyebrow but the part where you could somebody behind the glass and yet the room was suddenly empty when Chris goes to check it out just had me shaking my damn head. Expecting me to believe that the dude behind the glass was able to somehow vanish from that room without it being noticed is a huge ask.
tbh it's a good thing it looks fake because walking around a dark, abandoned building with a weapon drawn and trying to engage with the various beings you "encounter" is incredibly irresponsible and obnoxious behavior to present to an audience.
Reflections exist yk
No sane human gets there to explore at night, follows strange noises and calls for them. That mannequin situation was fake as hell too.
Exactly. In addition, why would you stay in an abandoned building in pitch darkness knowing there's a complete stranger who you have no idea what they're capable of? A fair number of homeless/squatters have mental health issues, I wouldn't want to wait around to find out.
@@suhailaljady270 "no sane human" isn't an argument, even if this was fake
You can’t draw your pew pew randomly because you’re scared of the dark either.
If you’re trespassing you’re not allowed to launch a projectile at another stranger because they frightened you
15:20
This happened in 2006
The strangers came out 2008
Rip stick came out in 2007
Fake af
I honestly feel like the second one was a reflection. The fact that the "other person" turns off their light the same time they do is a pretty big coincidence. Also when the light appears in the side window as they enter the room, it's not stationary -- it pans from the right as they turn the camera that way, then pans back as they turn away. Even though all the windows on their side are hollow, it seems more likely there was one window pane somewhere on the other side of the building or some piece of glass that reflected their light back.
It's so obviously just their own reflection in a pane of glass, in both instances. It's painful that they made it through post and then it made it here without someone realizing that reflections are a thing and it was no mere coincidence that the light went off at exactly the same moment as our explorers', lol.
Scariest for me will always be Dan Bell visiting the abandoned children's mental house/facility. It was an absolutely gorgeous mansion that was donated, used as a mental health facility for children, and then abandoned and trashed. The scary part was that people were living there and caught them essentially peaking at him on camera.
Yeah that one was pretty fucked
Dang just a couple months ago when i subbed you only had around 50k subs. You’ve really grown congrats
"Keep calm keep calm"

That fact that bro knew that was Melvin brought a smile to my face and made me subscribe lol
Hi chilling scares. Idk if u have ever made a video on this but can you make a video on urbex hill’s Masonic temple second exploration video? That video really freaked me out and I would love to see one of your videos on it
Just the perfect creepy video with the perfect abandoned building setting, thank you Chilling Scares in the name of everyone!
Please keep making these videos. They're really relaxing to watch before I go to bed.
I'm high and don't know how I got here
@albertlmaio4206 i get stoned and watch these all the time! 😂
ProperPeople has excellent content that doesn't fail to keep me interested.. unlike some youtubers.
The last one broke my hearts.
16:58 This part caught me off guard lol
Hi, love your content alot
One of my favorite series are these "disturbing abandoned buildings encounters"
Hope you make more of them!
Real I got so excited when I saw this in my feed
I always give props to people who go to abandoned places or solo camping or hiking. You never know what could happen and they have more guts than i do to go places alone
21:16 she may have also died instead of having a bad fall. ether way still pretty sad to see.
In my opinion, you have the best voice for those types of videos.
I would love it if you would also tell scary stories, like Mr.Nightmare or my favorite: Whispered Diaries, which have a very similar voice as you. Keep it up! 😊
props for mentioning cleveland twice. some of the most interesting and reclusive urbex locations to be found here. the community keeps fairly quiet about it. urbex hill is a chill guy ive met him a couple times but yeah cleveland is like any urbexers dream
the last one made me shed a tear
6:17 wow and I thought I had balls of steel for moving directly towards creepy sounds in Silent Hill games
My relative died unexpectedly and someone noticed when delivering something and they saw her in the window.
