  • This is a 2017 model Delta Airbus A321-200 (N318DX) taking off and landing from BOS to ATL. Included is the ATC of the Boston Tower, listen for the flight number "Delta 2648". She was running at capacity, and flew at a cruising level of 36,000 ft and at 526mph. This A321-200 is built in Mobile,Alabama and is powered by two CFM International (GE) CFM56-5 high-bypass turbofan aero engines. Delta is buying a ton of these A321s to replace most of the old MD-88/90s and 757-200. I included a little of the taxing portion for both, but feel free to skip around as I sped it up as well. A lot of planes were delayed this day as some very bad storms were approaching from the west, I included the flight path and radar so you could see the storms. Thanks for watching!

Such an interesting job, airplanes & air traffic control are so advanced. My girlfriends aunt is an air traffic controller in Atlanta right now, she just moved there from Columbus.

I always thought it would be cool to be a pilot! Getting to travel the world and make money doing it! Aviation has certainly come a long way, most of the flight is computer controlled now days, especially on an Airbus. Atlanta is a crazy airport, its non stop planes with one every couple of seconds. So much logistics involved!
