Taylor Piedra, the Barneys New York concierge stationed at the entrance of our Madison Avenue flagship. And he doesn't cater solely to shopping requests. Better than your average Zagat guide, this former Barneys sales associate was once dubbed a mix between ringmaster and tour guide by The Wall Street journal.
Taylor pioneered the concierge program over a decade ago. (His first request on the job? Getting a guest into Nobu. His wildest? Helping a customer find the aforementioned hippopotamus jaw.) Today, Taylor is the manager of concierge services, training other up-and-coming concierges at Barneys stores across the country. And did we mention that his services are completely complimentary?
