Bayverse Starscream is my favorite design outta all transformers. Dunno why but ever since I seen his concept art. With decription of ONLY wanting the most advanced flying vehicle(f22 raptor) on earth. On the movie website back in like 2006 I fell in love.
When I saw this at target, boi was I happy. Didn't get it thought, gonna wait till they bring the inevitable masterpiece blackout

Honestly, Movie Screamer has such a distinct robot appearance that I'm surprised they nailed it.
Especially with regards to the legs and fingers/claws.
They managed to do a good job by Revenge of the Fallen, after that it was tweaking and tidying some details and getting the back thrusters to fit
Of course they nailed it... It better be! Since they sacrificed the alt-mode entirely!

They are really nailing these MPM figures, they look just like in the movies! I honestly like the movie designs, they are cool and unique and it was these movies that really got me into transformers so I love them!

In the part you forgot untab at the abs I imagined that you were going need to come back and redo it. The way you film your review are really clean, I could see were the tags and slots are and how to connect them. Amazing review mate.
Thanks for another great review. Your channel is the best channel. I really enjoy the format. I first found your channel probably in 2009 when the leader class rotf starscream was reviewed, so it is very special watching this one. I wasn't planning on getting this because I thought the original hunt for the decepticons starscream and the black mamba ones were good enough, but I guess I will be picking this one up too. Hooray for rolling flying things.
After owning this one for a few days now, I really appreciate the depth the robot mode has. It makes the studio series and hunt for the decepticons ones seem flat. The transformation is nicely involved. Thanks again for the review. The Just transform it version helped me get the hang of the transformation.
I found mine at Target when I took my lunch break and obviously impulsively got the best of me.
Out of the whole series there were only three designs that I liked, and this was one of them. The others were Blackout and Bonecrusher.

They finally made a perfect movie Starscream, there's something subtle to it but it looks SO accurate in comparison to all the others, it's amazing!

Geez the jet mode makes the Revenge of the Fallen jet mode look sleek in comparison. Take out the electronics, add more joints and paint and that version would have been perfect for the movie line.
Dude, your impression of Starscream is really good! It honestly reminds me of Steve Blum, which is quite the compliment!
I’m an old man that prefers his Starscreams G1, so I’d never buy this guy, but I’ll gladly watch an emgo vid so I can appreciate the engineering and get a vicarious dose of enjoyment from the movieformers 😄
I like the movies because they give me some cheesy late 2000’s nostalgia. The fourth and fifth ones don’t do it as well.

It's funny how in just 3 more releases, they got Blackout to look so amazing, in both modes, AND have a super clean alt mode underside!! MPM-13 is a marvel of engineering.
I ordered this exact starscream model also, and didn’t realise how big the model was until it was delivered. Also, the detail is just amazing.
What can I say? Cowards do survive.

... so I'd say no.
MPM might be a bit wider? But that's about it

I know this is overgeneralizing, but I have that Leader Class SS and this one looks like a minor retool and repaint of that figure minus the electronics and some extra accessories. I would like to see those figured side by side to see. Also it looks like to me there is a hinge in the front to open the cockpit. I am surprised they would have removed that or not included it. The paint job look really nice. Good review. Nice showing him with all the other MPM. Wowsers MPM Megatron is huge!
Everybody talks about him looking like a trianglr but if you look at him for long enough, he stops looking like a triangle.

We will eventually, (if you don't count the oversized studio series version) but I think we'll get Brawl first. Brawl is smaller and has a less involved transformation; the upscaled studio series Brawl is pretty close to what you could expect, just cleaned up and some more detail (as well as fixing up his alt mode too)

Honestly though. Like I *love* taking stuff apart and putting it back together. I want to go to school for mechanical engineering.
But I don't think I will EVER understand how they go about engineering transformers (at least the more complex ones) the amount of R&D it takes must be unreal, all the little hinges and tabs and holes and making sure it not only all lines up but can also transform between two if not more modes... it's insane
I noticed a thing on the thrusters. I had the impression that the holes are 5mm ports, so one could attach effect parts on them.
I tried and they didn’t fit

But they don't fit as in "if you sand the pegs a little they could" or as in "you should cut them in a way you couldn't use them for anything else"?

Well, that's a good news. That means that if I use a small piece of paper (or any other way to enlarge the peg/shrink the hole) I can make the effects stay in place.
picked this guy up the other day, 50% off at Target already. definitely leaving him in bot mode. the jet mode isn't terrible, but the Studio series Screamer can fill the jet mode gap in my collection

Seems like just another reissue rather than perfected variant that its lower fuselage looks just like real F-22 Raptor without the bulky hands and legs there
