Love this guy! As a product designer myself I think the designers at Hasbro and Takara will secretly love these ko's as they really show off their work and design skills far better than the legitimate releases! Of course they would never be able to publicly admit to this.
what a gorgoeus paint job, i loved movie starscream despite his small appearance, also the in hand images of MpM 13 look much better than the pictures before please check it out!
I disagree with his height. He was just as tall as Megatron he was just always hunched over almost stuck in a constant bow.

I'm not a huge fan of the Bay-Verse designs. But I appreciate whenever a good looking Bayformer figure comes out. I may not be a fan, but I can't help but smile when Bayformer fans get a quality figure.
I began to accept Bayverse more over the years. Optimus from G1 is iconic, but his altruism is unrealistic for a military commander who has fought a losing war against Decepticons for thousands of years.
@@rinzler9171 I've never seen G1 besides the movie to be honest, so I'm not too familiar with his personality. I'm just not a huge fan of the designs in the movie. But I do think I they can make some really nice figures that I would totally buy. Lol
The sculpt work, inside and out, is disgustingly beautiful! The painting is also a beauty.
was contemplating between this and the non-tattoo version but decided to get this because i didn't really like starscream's design to begin with thus the tattoo made it even more abstract. i didn't like how the non-tattooed's chrome head was very contrasting to the rest of the body. I also prefer my figures with the pristine look and the metallic paintjob on this figure is absolutely gorgeous! however now that i have him in hand, it has become my favorite figure of my bayverse collection but maybe because he's my first mpm figure.
My copy came in yesterday! ive bought some other amazing 3rd party figures before, but my jaw absolutely dropped when i first opened the package. a true masterpiece
Honestly, I wouldn't mind getting the official version as its still pretty nice mold, but this version may be a deciding factor to which offering goes into my Mpm collection. And I'm glad it still comes with LED lights. The only real competing factor is if I want the tattoos or the clean look of the T-10 star sky wings. I like the tattoos, but I also love looking in awe of the masterpiece vehicle modes.
The cybertronian tattoos make him a little better than just nothing on him. He hides in jet form and people are like, "Oh no, I wonder where he is..."

I a fan of that thing you just did where you showed the step in the one leg and arm and then skipped the other ones. It's obvious we need to do it to the other limb just mirrored. I like it that way and it keep the video shorter and more enjoyable.

Dark of the moon is my favorite movie out of the 5 films and I love this version of starscream
Just last week one of my floating display shelves collapsed, the only casualty being MPM Starscream. Sadly, the 4th party figures I had seen were all out of stock, so thanks for the video. Really didn't wanna spend full price on another official release when better, cheaper options exist.

To be fair, though, that HftD Leader class Starscream did get a clean repaint by Takara as MPM1...perhaps the one time that color scheme didn't work so well. 😏😏😏
Meanwhile, I'm rather curious as to why the RotF/DotM deco is so much more popular than the 2007 deco; I'm probably completely alone in disliking the RotF look for Starscream, as all them Cybertronian glyphs look downright fugly on him.

It's beautiful! Does the paint comes off easily? I have F12A Starscream and I must say it was disappointing as the paints came off easily, figure really couldn't stand properly to pose,tend to fall.. parts are fragile too!Well, that's my opinions of it!

I think they look great in robot mode and I’m glad they added them. Would be nice to see them in alt mode tho, I agree. I was confused by that myself

What's the difference between a 3rd party figure and a 4th party figure?
3rd party would be something unlicensed but original, like Uninique toys Dragoon (Megatron) or Challenger (Optimus). They aren't based on official figures and are made from the ground up where as 4th Party figures are anykinf of Knock offs (KO) that ARE based on official products. As this is a repainted upscale of the MPM 10 starscream this is 4th party.

When did there exist a 4th party
In the context of Transformers, 3rd party denotes an original design, whereas 4th party means that it's based off of another design. It confused me when I first got into it as well.
It doesn't. It's a knock off. The 4th party is a label that collectors have come up with to further legitimize their illegitimate collection. Because it's so much nicer to say that you bought a 4th party figure than to say that you bought a knockoff, which is what this is. This figure is just fans further supporting the theft of HasTak's intellectual properties.

HasTak is extremely stingy with paint, even on movie "Masterpieces". Even if HasTak did do a RoTF repaint at this point, it would be certain to be inferior to this KO. Just go for it.

The blue paint on the wing in jet mode kills it for me lol bummer
I still think no starscream is better then the original rotf voyager, I think that toy is more accurate in jet mode and more fun to transform

a third party isnt officially sanctioned by hasbro and a forth party is a third party of a third party
a 4th party is basically a knockoff of an official figure from hasbro or takara, and a 3rd party is from a company that made their own design or model without being licenced i think?
I dont think there's an official definition and people think different things. But I come to think of it as simple repraints of already produced figures with extra custom bits or a custom paint finish
