I’m quite suprised that Kenny came with me despite saving Ben. I think what affects Kenny and Lee’s relationship the most is if you try to save Larry or side with lilly
What most people don’t realise is what a crazy amount of time these guy puts in his videos lol, to get all those options and playthroughs, only to be put in a simple to follow video
No wonder that most people and youtubers had neutral Kenny because most people saved Ben. Also that’s why most people were confused and angry when they had neutral Kenny because you wouldn’t think that dropping a kid to his death would be the most important choice
Also you would think that giving food to Kenny family or stealing the food from the station wagon would get you points especially since you get points from leaving Beatrice.
I literally came back to watch a few of your videos yesterday becuase I decided to marathon playing every Season over christmas break. Already knew about how Kenny worked so I got good Kenny in the end, I didn't kill Ben so I ended up getting 10. I'm at Episode 4 in Season 2 at the moment.
Kenny’s been calling Lee “Pal” for a long time I understand now, If you side with Kenny at a difficult situation Kenny will be thankful and admires your loyalty but if you don’t he won’t help you at all he’ll just think you are a random jerk
A few weeks ago I found out about this points system thanks to a page I found online. I was considering making a video myself since I didn't find anything. Now I found your video so there's no longer that need. Good job!
He should give bro speech at 8. Not killing Larry and Ben and still being able to have him do it would be cool. Also I think that giving Duck food should give you 0,5 and giving Kenny food 0,25. Stealing the food from the station wagon should give you 1 point. Leavimg Lilly should give 0,25 as well and the limit would be not 12 but 14. If 14 was the limit 9 for bro speech would be fine. I'm actually thinking about rewriting telltale's twd story with better choices. Like Larry survivng until episode 5 if you play your cards right.
I disagree about letting Larry live though. The way that everything happened makes it so it's never clear on if Larry was truly able to be saved. Larry even has a slight animation of his jaw moving just before his head gets caved in, which either implies that he was still alive or that he was actively about to turn. Making it so you can save Larry there defeats the entire purpose of this.
In my very first playthrough, I: Saved Duck at Hershel's farm Defended Duck in the drugstore Sided with Kenny in the beginning of ep2 Gave Duck some food Tried to save Larry Didn't take from the station wagon Left Beatrice Sided with Kenny about leaving the motel Fought Kenny on the train Had Kenny shoot Duck Had Lee kill the zombie boy in the attic Saved Ben I got neutral Kenny, and I convinced him to go with me by saying that Clementine was my family.
I honestly thought letting Kenny shoot his own son was the right decision! Damn! Well, at least now I can go back and fix my mistake. So, here are my choices. - Save Duck (specifically, by grabbing a piece of wood and smacking it over the walker’s head, because it’s the fastest way). - Siding with Kenny (specifically, by shouting, “No, you don’t touch that boy!” at Larry and not have Kenny fighting him). - Siding with Kenny by choosing “Kenny’s right.” (Because fuck Lilly). - Kill Larry (because fuck Larry, anyway). - Leaving Beatrice (because let’s just be honest, it’s a smarter decision, anyway). - Siding with Kenny, again by choosing “We have to go eventually, Lilly.” (Because, again, fuck Lilly). - Lee shooting Duck (Surprisingly, I actually got this one wrong the first time I played. I actually had Kenny do it because I thought it was the best decision and I thought I would get Kenny to like me more if I let him do it. I thought I would get points by having a father put his own son out of his misery, but no, so I had to go back and fix that. I did console Kenny, just in case you guys were wondering. Either way, I feel it’s better to put someone out of their misery by shooting them). - Lee shooting the walker boy (This one I actually got right the first time I played it. I figured, “I’m not going to let Kenny go through that again. This isn’t his son this time.” - Save Ben (Yes, I know. It knocks a couple points off, but I still get the bro speech with 10 Kenny bro points, also I still want Clementine to be happy that Ben makes it out, as well. Plus, I like Ben). Some things I wish gave you Kenny points. - Feeding Duck a candy bar at the drug store in episode 1 (a lot of people miss this one). - Feeding Duck in episode 2. - Feeding Kenny in episode 2. - Being honest about Lee’s past of how he killed a Georgia State Senator in episode 3. - Leaving Lilly on the side of the road in episode 3, (even Katjaa agreed with my decision on that one). - Talking him into stopping the train without fighting him in episode 3. I’m sure you guys can put in more things for this list. Anyway, thank you for making this video. It really helped a lot.
I was always neutral with Lily and Kenny, I never killed Lily’s dad, left Beatrice to suffer, or leave Ben to die Also I like how at 3:26 you kept track of the points and showed up it neat
The final point in which you have to pick Larry or Ben in order to keep Kenny on your side really does a great job emphasizing that he is, in fact, self interested and will only go with you if you either sweet talk him or show absolute loyalty.
Not really, notice how you get points for simply not siding against him with Lilly? You don't actually need to take his side, even being neutral in their arguments gets you favour with Kenny. Just don't be an asshole to him. Trying to save Larry puts everyone in the meat locker and by extension Kenny's family in danger all to pointlessly try to save someone who medically can not be saved because you don't have a defibrilator. Once someone's heart has stopped and they're not breathing, CPR alone will not bring them back to life, it will only buy time for a defibrilator to be brought to the scene. In addition to that, it makes Kenny look like the bad guy for doing the right thing and protecting everyone. I'd be pissed if I was Kenny and my friend did that to me. Help keep Larry from turning, save Ben. Easy choice to get Bro Kenny.
Saved Duck Defended him with the Badass line to Larry Sided with him Against Lilly, also in the Swing I agreed again Killed Larry Didn't kill the girl Agreed with him against Lilly about Leaving Shot his son I let him shoot the Boy in the Attic And I Saved Ben. Also I Believe I either stayed quiet or told him to kick Ben's ass later.
When Lee gets bit. Show the bite and that shows sacrifice. Find and rescue Clementine before he turns. Kenny is very uncley to Clementine for how much he cares for her. Tell him, "Clementine is my family" then Kenny says "Family matters" and comes along.
surprised staying neutral during the Lilly and Kenny argument in episode 2 will still gain you points, despite the fact Kenny chews out Lee for not picking a side.
I always get the bro speech without even trying or looking up a walkthrough. I don't really want to, because I think Lee going alone is much more badass, but with my personal choices it makes Kenny always come with Lee. Lol! 😅
i played this game a lot when i was much younger... i kinda wish i remembered all the reasons i liked kenny so much to always get the bro speech, i remember wanting to throw ben off the train every time back then LOL
I got neutral Kenny only cause I helped lily try to save Larry. I saved duck Defended Kenny from Larry Gave food to duck Was neutral with lily and Kenny argument Didn’t kill the girl at the drug store Sided with Kenny at the motel Killed duck Killed zombie kid I saved Ben And Kenny was neutral and then I side Clem is my family and that’s what made him go with me
Thanks so much bro, I also helped Lilly and I was confused why Kenny didn't come with me, I picked the "I need you, Kenny" dialogue and be didn't come with me, so thanks for telling me this
neutral Kenny can be convinced with one word: Kenny, you know what Clementine means to me, she is my family, she is all I have, then he will agree to go with you and help look for clementine, such an interesting thing, friendly Kenny he will go with you anyway and he won't let you alone
As long as you pick options that directly favored his family if you say “Clementine is my family” he’ll go with you, good mindset to follow for anyone struggling with killing Larry or letting Ben fall
I had a neutral Kenny: - I Didn't save Duck, but protected him from Larry (1.5 points) - disagreed with Lilly, but refused to kill Larry (0.75 points) - shot a zombie magnet chick (no points for me) - was all into leaving Motel (0,75 points) - shot Duck (2 points) - ended the Attic walker (0,75 points) - did not drop Ben (no points for me) 5,75 points total. My Lee ended up being an alright guy with a short temper (simple example: he threatened Vernon and took a gun from him, but instead of using that said gun into forcing them to show him a way out, he apologized and explained that he needs to get back to his people and Clem. Or in case of Ben: he threatened to throw him off the train and wasn't against Kenny beating the shit out of him BUT he did not let him fall down to his death)
I was wondering, do you know what choices determine what neutral response Kenny will give in Episode 4? From my playthroughs Pro-Lily seems to override Same Page and I also think you need to Save Larry (or have Kenny shoot Duck, don’t remember) along with Saving Shawn and voting to throw Duck out for the later while for the First Teamed Up line you just need to side with him in the Episode 1 choices.
Also saving neither Shawn or Duck seems to have the effect for if you Save Shawn for both the response he gives (Same Page) and for not awarding any points despite the episode 1 choice statistics claiming you saved Duck. (Funny thing is the game’s dialogue for Kenny and Katjaa kind of flip flops throughout the game if you choose to save neither. For example Katjaa will thank Lee for saving Duck in both the preview and in the actual episode if you talk to her in Episode 2 and Kenny will acknowledge neither him or Lee saved Shawn in Episode 3 if you pick that dialogue where Lee says he doesn’t care about Duck being bitten like he didn’t care about Shawn but you will also get the dialogue option “What’d He Say?” instead of “It was a scary situation” in Episode 3, which you get for saving Shawn, when talking about the farm in the beginning of the episode [and Kenny will still say Shawn viewed Lee as a hero if you saved Larry like he normally does if you pick it]. Also in the convo with Lee and Christa in Episode 5 in the attic you’ll get the line where Kenny says he thought Lee was a piece of shit if you save neither and you know do the other two requirements for it.)
The options I did and the result I got for Kenny: 1. Saving Duck instead of Shawn because saving the child was more important 2. Siding with Kenny instead of Larry about the Duck agruement 3. Siding with Kenny instead of Lilly 4. Agreed with Kenny to kill Larry because it wasn't worth the risk if Larry turned after he just had another heart attack with no pills during the time while being trapped in the meat locker 5. Left the girl screaming alive in order to have more time gathering food from the drug store 6. Siding with Kenny instead of Lilly again 7. Let Lee shoot Duck instead so that Kenny didn't have to kill his own son from turning 8. Let Kenny shoot the boy in the attic so that he can overcome from seeing every zombified person as Duck 9. Saved Ben because of Clementine's support for Ben. Result: still got friendly Kenny even after making Kenny shoot the zombie boy in the attic and saving Ben.
I got 8.5 points - really annoyed that I didn’t get the bro speech as I’d felt like I helped Kenny a lot. I thought letting Kenny kill the attic kid was the right choice
@dnm104 can you please do how to get Christa and Omid to come with you at the end of Episode 4? Not just reveal the bite to them, but other methods to do so.
Omid and Krista will go with you if you 1) Saved Omid when he fell near the train 2) Leave Clem at home (don't take her to Crawford) and give her a gun. These two options will affect the fact that Omid and Krista will go with you without showing a bite
9 seems outlandishly high for his character. Kenny is the best character in the entire series. I think hes more dynamic than Clem, and she's the real star. Kenny was never the villain. He was the one constant that always had the backs of the ones he cared about
How get unfriendly kenny: Save shanw Side with larry Says lily its right Chosse save try save larry Says this place its fine kenny Let kenny kill hes son Make kenny kill the zombie boy Save ben Well if u want make this Edit ima trying to get pro sided with lilly wish me lucky
What about taking lily with you I managed to save Ben and I noticed I got the bro speech but what about having both lily stay and saving Ben will I get neutral Kenny or the bro speech
No but if lee doesn't side with kenny in season 1 kenny will talk about lee to Clementine saying that he and lee had their differences,on the other hand if you side with him he'll say he was a hell of guy.
I understand why a lot of people don’t like Kenny, if you’re not siding with him all the time he gets pissy. But while I don’t agree with him half the time, I can’t hate the man… he’s genuinely a good and caring person if you can believe it, and he gets the worst end of the stick in both seasons leaving me feeling so bad for him.
Its crazy how no matter how many times you side with Kenny if you don’t SAVE duck over Shawn he doesn’t go with you like wtffff I glazed this man the whole play through 😭😭😭
My first play through of the game I didn't save duck but sided with kenny on everything else didn't kill ben and kenny still came with me at the end of ep 4. Did another run doing the same thing twice but he gave me the same shpeal of "me not being there when he needed me". Maybe I got lucky? 🤷♂
Neutral Kenny is the one where he says something along the lines of "yknow I care about Clementine, but would you be there for me?" and you'll have to convince him. Friendly is the popular "bro speech"
I had about 8 points and he still didn’t come with me. I was actually always on his side but I tried to save Hershel’s son instead of Duck and I also saved Ben so do I also have to let Ben die so that he could come with me ?
Yes, I did the same mistake, I didn't saved duck and also tried saving ben in same playthrough. You don't want to play the whole game again just to save duck so unfortunately, you have to let Ben die.
NGL, Killing Larry makes sense. Tbh. Why save a guy who already tried to kill you after you saved him ? Fool me once that's your bad. Fool me twice that's MY BAD.
I got neutral Kenny.I -Saved Duck -Defended Duck at the drugstore -Picked Kenny over Lily -Helped kill Larry -Didn't kill the screaming zombie chick -Sided with Kenny again -Had Kenny kill Duck -Had Kenny kill the zombie boy -Didn't kill Ben

@@BOYWONDER20090 Yeah I know that. That's the reason why I want to have three version's of the game. First is where Lee goes alone. Second is where Ben comes with Lee and Third is where everyone goes ( including Ben) and where Kenny gives bro speach after I hid the bite and decided to go alone.

*HE’S BACK!!! =D*
The options I did and the result I got for Kenny:
1. Saving Duck instead of Shawn because saving the child was more important
2. Siding with Kenny instead of Larry about the Duck agruement
3. Siding with Kenny instead of Lilly
4. Agreed with Kenny to kill Larry because it wasn't worth the risk if Larry turned after he just had another heart attack with no pills during the time while being trapped in the meat locker
5. Left the girl screaming alive in order to have more time gathering food from the drug store
6. Siding with Kenny instead of Lilly again
7. Let Lee shoot Duck instead so that Kenny didn't have to kill his own son from turning
8. Let Kenny shoot the boy in the attic so that he can overcome from seeing every zombified person as Duck
9. Saved Ben because of Clementine's support for Ben.
Result: still got friendly Kenny even after making Kenny shoot the zombie boy in the attic and saving Ben.
Don’t rlly need to but just a common request, Christa & Omid’s reaction to Lee’s bitten on ep 5 when Lee hides his bite. Only Christa & Omid btw.
Where's the part where you agree to take the supplies shouldn't there be points for that?
I wish there was a way to edit his point value so you can get what kenny you want despite your choices
I got 8.5 points - really annoyed that I didn’t get the bro speech as I’d felt like I helped Kenny a lot. I thought letting Kenny kill the attic kid was the right choice
Do you think you could do a video like this for The Wolf Among Us?
I saved Shawn instead of Duck, didn’t kill Larry, yet somehow got the bro speech after doing everything for Kenny… 🤷♂️
Did you drop Ben?
@@anthonyhack1164 Nope, Ben is a bro
Good thing I got the bro speech
you have to kill multiple people and meat ride kenny for him to even consider being your friend. great character design telltale
This is the walking dead, not Disney channel lol 😂
@@rickgrimes9530 bro what? so because its the walking dead i gotta gobble this mans nuts to be considered a friend
Not rlly
i did everything besides save duck in the beginning so will kenny go with me or not??
Man i love Kenny
Mate I did all except shooting duck
@dnm104 can you please do how to get Christa and Omid to come with you at the end of Episode 4? Not just reveal the bite to them, but other methods to do so.
Omid and Krista will go with you if you
1) Saved Omid when he fell near the train 2) Leave Clem at home (don't take her to Crawford) and give her a gun. These two options will affect the fact that Omid and Krista will go with you without showing a bite
Thanks
would be cool to see a full anti kenny playthrough
What soundtrack did you used
Its called "Training Clementine"

9 seems outlandishly high for his character. Kenny is the best character in the entire series. I think hes more dynamic than Clem, and she's the real star.
Kenny was never the villain. He was the one constant that always had the backs of the ones he cared about
How get unfriendly kenny:
Save shanw
Side with larry
Says lily its right
Chosse save try save larry
Says this place its fine kenny
Let kenny kill hes son
Make kenny kill the zombie boy
Save ben
Well if u want make this
Edit ima trying to get pro sided with lilly wish me lucky
BRO YOU LIVE
What about if you save Shawn but say that it’s not Kenny’s fault? No points earned?
nope :((
@@dnm1048 man... they would have the opportunity though. Oh well, thanks anyway.
What about taking lily with you I managed to save Ben and I noticed I got the bro speech but what about having both lily stay and saving Ben will I get neutral Kenny or the bro speech
Do more videos of these, please
Bro can you do all variations in the 1st episode of the walking dead season 1
Im quite surprised that saving duck earns more points that killing Larry.
The only two I didn’t do was duck and Ben so annoyed
Kenny is real friend
What's the music in the background?
Do you get any points if you take the supplies from the car in ep2?
or convince Kenny to stop the train instead of fighting him?
@@sheabutter2489 nope, neither of those count
@@jjkilhij9531 ok thx
One question, does this affect what happens in season 2?
No but if lee doesn't side with kenny in season 1 kenny will talk about lee to Clementine saying that he and lee had their differences,on the other hand if you side with him he'll say he was a hell of guy.
Leave Kenny to go find his damn boat 😂🤣🤣 👀 thats what im 100% gonna do
Does it care if you fight him or don’t? Or if you not telling him that you are a murder in the past?
I understand why a lot of people don’t like Kenny, if you’re not siding with him all the time he gets pissy. But while I don’t agree with him half the time, I can’t hate the man… he’s genuinely a good and caring person if you can believe it, and he gets the worst end of the stick in both seasons leaving me feeling so bad for him.
Its crazy how no matter how many times you side with Kenny if you don’t SAVE duck over Shawn he doesn’t go with you like wtffff I glazed this man the whole play through 😭😭😭
This is wrong because I did everything besides drop Ben and save duck in the beginning which gives me “8 points” but I still got the bro response
Dmm104 come back we need your videos
My first play through of the game I didn't save duck but sided with kenny on everything else didn't kill ben and kenny still came with me at the end of ep 4. Did another run doing the same thing twice but he gave me the same shpeal of "me not being there when he needed me". Maybe I got lucky? 🤷♂
Do you have to do all these things to have Kenny come with you or can you let one thing go like not dropping Ben
You just have to get more than 9 points. Even 9,25 is enough
Ok ima hope I can skip on dropping Ben so I can get the scene of Kenny forgiving him
@@KGVR Yeah, best not to let Ben die cause he and Kenny get more character development and Kenny gets to know Ben better.
Could you do a video for Conrad?
wait so what if u have kenny shoot duck instead if lee would that get any points
I got Kenny to come with me in the end and i made him Kill the baby walker and i saved Ben but he still came with me
whats the diference betwen neutral kenny and the friendly one?
Neutral Kenny is the one where he says something along the lines of "yknow I care about Clementine, but would you be there for me?" and you'll have to convince him. Friendly is the popular "bro speech"
@@Goldlack65 thx
@@bichogreenskin1546 Friendly Kenny also says "pal" a lot.
You have to convince him to go with you
Loyal to kenny but dont got his back
Keeping score
NGL, Killing Larry makes sense. Tbh.
Why save a guy who already tried to kill you after you saved him ? Fool me once that's your bad. Fool me twice that's MY BAD.
Lol
I got neutral Kenny.I
-Saved Duck
-Defended Duck at the drugstore
-Picked Kenny over Lily
-Helped kill Larry
-Didn't kill the screaming zombie chick
-Sided with Kenny again
-Had Kenny kill Duck
-Had Kenny kill the zombie boy
-Didn't kill Ben
Do you have to let Ben die? I really don't want to despite his mistakes.
you basically have to do everything, but can choose between Larry or Ben to reach the top points
So I had 7.75, no wonder he didn't come with me in the end. Damn I like Kenny, but friendship with him requires some really bad choices being made
What happens If I:
Didn't save Duck at Hershel's farm
Defended Duck
Sided with Lily at the beginning of ep2
Killed Larry
Left the girl on the street
Choosed the dialogue We'll do what's best for the kids.
Killed Duck
Killed the Boy in the attic
Didn't drop Ben?
These chooses will get you Neutral Kenny.
Which means you can still get him to help you if you pick the option: Clementine is my Family.
I was really hoping Kenny could come with me but I really did mess some stuff up
nah, hes just crazy about some things
I'm 666th sub! Amazing vids man
