I think Kenny is just extremely sensitive to disagreement or resistance especially when he sees it as detrimental to people he cares about. Lee not supporting him in destroying Larry basically leaves him thinking, "Lee didn't care enough about me and my family, nor even Clementine for that matter, to see that this had to be done, and he was willing to risk all of our lives and mine in our predicament, endangering the whole group, all for just the miniscule chance that Larry could survive". One more reason could be that Kenny resents Lee for leaving him with the guilt of destroying Larry on his own, instead of sharing the load of responsibility by helping him do it
@@xenophonanthony2791as a kenny fan I couldn't agree more, I love the character and ngl I sided with him my first playthrough of season 1, but my second playthrough I decided to not agree with him just that one moment and holy crap was the difference crazy, the only way I got him to come with me at the end to help look for clementine was because I chose to shoot duck instead of letting him do it, but yeah after my second pmaythrough I understood why people hated him cuz he was a spiteful prick the entire season just from me disagreeing with him that one time, however he does make up for it a bit imo at the end of the season qhere you 2 can hash it out and he even admits to clementine in season 2 that he could've been a better friend to Lee, great writing, there's a reason the first 2 games are a 10/10 for me

Mhm, even the expressions and tone of voice, if he helps you or not in certain events and QTEs as well as his overall demeanor and if he sticks up for you. Hostile Kenny is rude, brash, and often times expects you to handle things without support or will go into his feelings if you don't side with him. It plays hard since he loses his wife, kid and friends during the apocalypse. Firnedly Kenny is much more upbeat, if honest, generally seems to have a more mellow and buddy buddy attitude and will save your ass in a few QTEs, stick up to you and almost see you as an anchor as he loses the closest to him

He definitely killed Carver. I wish that he would have dispatched his henchman Troy too. He got off easy with Jane having bitten off his Johnson and getting devoured by Walkers shortly thereafter.

Hulk TV series, Actualy how Kenny comnents on Lee is dependant on wether he came with Lee to find Clem at the end of Episode 4, not wether you killed Duck though it does play a part in his decision. If Kenny came with you he says that Lee was "A hell'ov a guy." and if he didn't come with Lee he says something along the lines of "Lee and I had our differences but I know he'd have done anything to protect you." You are right in saying you could try to Save Larry but , you'd just have to convince him to come instead of on his own. This way he still says Lee was "A hell'ov a guy."

I still think the small details and bromance between them if you’re supportive is awesome, and the small details like him just expecting to be disappointed by your responses it unfriendly (whereas if you disagree with friendly Kenny he is more curious and confused) his facial expressions and just overall tone and vibe when he’s friendly and unfriendly are great touches.

I had Friendly Kenny and didn't Side With him in Ep 2 With the Leader thingy. Also what happens if you tell the Saint John's you're the Leader With Unfriendly Kenny? Will he have an Angry Face or does he Smiles like he always does and Lily and Larry Have that Mad face. Lily's face I call The Witch Face.
It's more complicated than that. In late E4 and E5, his dialogue is very heavily tied to the episode 1 and 3 choices. For instance, if Kenny questions your loyalty on going to get Clem, saying Clem is your family will only work based on how many times you supported his family. If Lee was good to his family, Kenny will go with him, but if not Kenny will yell at Lee for pulling the family card.

On my first run I supported Kenny all the way through… except for when I choose to save Larry, cause despite the guy being a massive asshole if there was a chance he was still alive I’d take it. Everyone deserves a second chance of some kind and I thought by saying his life his attitude would change. But no saving Larry is what got me Unfriendly Kenny even when I supported him where it really matter, his family.
Its hard to not get into a fight with Kenny if he is so unfriendly in episode 3, guy is a prick, but he has been through a lot. Never gave up on him and you get some nice development by the end of it
Think you forgot one, after you and Kenny escape the zombies. Friendly Kenny will say “lets go pal” while unfriendly Kenny will get called out by lee for not helping
I got all of the friendly Kenny scenes, and he said that lee deserved a spot in the rev with clementine, but I didn’t save duck. I also supported ken all the time. I got neutral kennny

I used to think that too, But now i think Kenny actually saved them in the Meat Locker. Larry would've need medical supplies to survive that. Remember too that is the apocalypse, if Larry turned into a Walker he would've killed all of them.
If it makes you feel any better about killing Larry then just know that he was never gonna survive if you pump his heart with Lilly. It wouldn’t have helped anyway, you need professionals to help you and that wasn’t gonna happen. Pumping his heart was the equivalent of making pancakes without the utensils or bowls, it’s just not gonna happen.

You missed a few bits of diagloage, for example: You didn't cover what Kenny says if you did steal food from the station wagon when Lee says "We got plenty of food out of that station wagon" when Lily and Kenny are arguing. Also he says a third piece of neutral dialogue if you where friends in Episode 1 but tried to Save Larry when you confess your past to him.
You will still get “What’s he say?” instead of “It was a scary situation” if you save neither Shawn or Duck. I know, it’s weird and there aren’t any dialogue changes opposed to when you actually save Shawn so Kenny will still say that Shawn viewed Lee as a hero when he died in an Unfriendly Kenny playthrough.
It’s kinda funny the only way to make Kenny go with you to find Clem is if you basically act like the villain. Kill a man in a meat locker? Debatable on if he was alive or not but I believe he was alive, since before Kenny dropped the lick on his skull, he took a breath. Drop a TEENAGER to his death to be eaten by walkers because he tried to help? Ben is debatably one of the worst characters in TWDG, but I understand why people defend him, he is just a teen, he’ll fuck up and cost lives, something people forget Clementine does. In order to get Kenny to go with you, you HAVE TO kill one of them, otherwise he won’t go unless you bring up Clementine. Kenny isn’t a good man in this season, the only reason why people like him is because he’s charismatic and kinda funny. I know that’ll get me a lot of slack but it’s true.
That doesnt mean Larry was alive, he could take a breath and still become a walker. Remember, they were locked in a room, and didn't have any medicine. I agree that is not good just dropping Ben like that. But Kenny is not a Bad person he did what he had to in order to protect the people around him and survive the apocalypse.
Larry wasn't alive, he experienced cardiac arrest, which means he wouldn't have lived without proper medical equipment like a defibrillator. If Katjaa was is the room, I could understand it as she has medical knowledge. But no one except Kenny did, as he would have picked it up from Kat. The fact this is what Kenny did shows Larry was a lost cause. And Kenny is a good man in the season. He saved Lee after Larry punched him, even if Lee agreed with Larry. He hates Ben because he technically got Duck and Katjaa killed, without knowing the full context. And the way Kenny went out showed how great he his. He obviously saved Christa, which was heroic. But with Ben, it shows how good Kenny is. He learns Ben's perspective through Ben's outburst, and shows remorse for how he treated him. Then, he decided to stay behind so that Ben didn't die alone. He also made sure that Ben didn't face his biggest fear, which was becoming a walker. He did this by using the only bullet in the gun, which could have killed him. Kenny's outbursts were because he lost almost everything, but becomes willing to sacrifice himself so that others live.
@@KMog-py7coKenny wouldn't have gotten that medical knowledge from Kat though. Kat is a Vet, she even states herself that she thought she'd get used to stitching up everyone's wounds. Hell, when you first meet her she even says that she works with animals and not humans. Kenny didn't know shit, he immediately asked if Larry was dead and then decided he had to go. I'm not saying you're wrong about Larry being dead, so don't even bother restating your point, but I'm saying Kenny didn't know. He made an assumption out of irrational fear of the situation and stuck with that. Any medical knowledge Kenny had would've been about animals. When Lee cuts of Paul's leg or brings back shot Travis, Katjaa has no idea what to do but she does her best. Her words heavily imply that she had not once tended to anything other than surface level wounds. The only thing she says is "That man was never going to survive." She only started treating human wounds AFTER the apocalypse, not before.
11:05-11:12 I laughed so hard at this part when i first played this game especially the way Kenny looks down at Lee's crotch before he asks him "it wasn't for touching kids was it?"😂😂 I sided with Kenny the entire game.
It's pretty annoying I did everything right by Kenny but because I refused to help him kill Larry he turns into an arsehole. I mean nobody hates Larry more than me but there was no definitive proof that he had actually died, he had the same exact heart problems in the pharmacy and didn't turn then.
Because they were able to get Nitroglycerin pills in time at the pharmacy store. Larry was just so angry at the St. John’s that he get so stressed out not realizing that he needs to calm down. Plus, they were stuck in a meat locker, and they didn’t have the pills. I don’t think CPR will be enough to save Larry because the moment he dies from a heart attack and goes walker on them, everyone dies.
Someone commented on a video by BabyZone that Larry wouldn't make it out of there, since they didn't have meds and CPR only delays the inevitable. Larry's mouth moving was a reflex, not him actually breathing or waking up. Kenny's actions were rash, but he did save everyone from a 6' 4" walker with muscle/fat to overpower everyone in the meat locker.

I just have to say that giving CPR alone is not enough to completely revive a dead person. That is a movie myth It just keeps the blood pumping. That's why I helped kill Larry. Kenny was actually correct in thinking that Larry couldn't be saved.
Both friendly and unfriendly Kenny is so well done it gives you a insight to who Kenny is he can be your best friend or your worse enemy me personally I prefer unfriendly Kenny I think it gives him a better arc depending on your choices he can get over his petty grudges against Lee and can help you save Clementine and try to save Ben great character
I've noticed in Lilly's room, if you decided to help Kenny in the locker room, Lee will be on Kenny's side. If you decided to help Lilly, he will be on her side. Yeah, Lee. You aren't on any one's side...
I don’t know if many people agree but I think most of the stuff Kenny talked about I agreed with, the Motel ended up dead and because we didn’t leave sooner the supplies were found and the bandits attacked, even when it came to Killing Larry, if their was a choice to try and convince Kenny to help resuscitate him I would’ve taken it but if Larry had turned he probably would’ve but someone before taking him down, it was to much of a risk to try. The only thing I really kinda disagreed was taking the station wagon, in the end it didn’t make much of a difference and I’d side with Clem over Kenny any day but it just felt wrong even though it was probably the right call as well. This is just my opinion but I think Kenny was right on a lot of things especially when it came to arguing with Lily who wasn’t usually right if at all.

If you save Duck, defend him and side with Kenny on Lilly not being in charge of people's lives, he will still be p1ssed at if you didn't smash Larry's head. To that all I have to say is... Imagine if the group managed to defeat the bandits in episode 3, Lilly discovered that Duck was bitten, and immediately shot him. Kenny would be FURIOUS, he'd go bananas, wouldn't he? The unfriendly Kenny is more interesting in my opinion but if you kill his son for him he will still say he was a hell of a guy in season 2 meaning he got over what happened in the meat locker
Hulk TV series, Actualy how Kenny comnents on Lee is dependant on wether he came with Lee to find Clem at the end of Episode 4, not wether you killed Duck though it does play a part in his decision. If Kenny came with you he says that Lee was "A hell'ov a guy." and if he didn't come with Lee he says something along the lines of "Lee and I had our differences but I know he'd have done anything to protect you." You are right in saying you could try to Save Larry but , you'd just have to convince him to come instead of on his own. This way he still says Lee was "A hell'ov a guy."

I still think the small details and bromance between them if you’re supportive is awesome, and the small details like him just expecting to be disappointed by your responses it unfriendly (whereas if you disagree with friendly Kenny he is more curious and confused) his facial expressions and just overall tone and vibe when he’s friendly and unfriendly are great touches.

It's more complicated than that. In late E4 and E5, his dialogue is very heavily tied to the episode 1 and 3 choices. For instance, if Kenny questions your loyalty on going to get Clem, saying Clem is your family will only work based on how many times you supported his family. If Lee was good to his family, Kenny will go with him, but if not Kenny will yell at Lee for pulling the family card.

On my first run I supported Kenny all the way through… except for when I choose to save Larry, cause despite the guy being a massive asshole if there was a chance he was still alive I’d take it. Everyone deserves a second chance of some kind and I thought by saying his life his attitude would change.
But no saving Larry is what got me Unfriendly Kenny even when I supported him where it really matter, his family.
Yeah, episode 3 dialogue is entirely dependent on Meat Locker choice. But in E4, his decision comes down to the point system.

You missed a few bits of diagloage, for example: You didn't cover what Kenny says if you did steal food from the station wagon when Lee says "We got plenty of food out of that station wagon" when Lily and Kenny are arguing. Also he says a third piece of neutral dialogue if you where friends in Episode 1 but tried to Save Larry when you confess your past to him.

You will still get “What’s he say?” instead of “It was a scary situation” if you save neither Shawn or Duck. I know, it’s weird and there aren’t any dialogue changes opposed to when you actually save Shawn so Kenny will still say that Shawn viewed Lee as a hero when he died in an Unfriendly Kenny playthrough.
It’s kinda funny the only way to make Kenny go with you to find Clem is if you basically act like the villain.

But Kenny is not a Bad person he did what he had to in order to protect the people around him and survive the apocalypse.
Larry wasn't alive, he experienced cardiac arrest, which means he wouldn't have lived without proper medical equipment like a defibrillator. If Katjaa was is the room, I could understand it as she has medical knowledge. But no one except Kenny did, as he would have picked it up from Kat. The fact this is what Kenny did shows Larry was a lost cause. And Kenny is a good man in the season. He saved Lee after Larry punched him, even if Lee agreed with Larry. He hates Ben because he technically got Duck and Katjaa killed, without knowing the full context. And the way Kenny went out showed how great he his. He obviously saved Christa, which was heroic. But with Ben, it shows how good Kenny is. He learns Ben's perspective through Ben's outburst, and shows remorse for how he treated him. Then, he decided to stay behind so that Ben didn't die alone. He also made sure that Ben didn't face his biggest fear, which was becoming a walker. He did this by using the only bullet in the gun, which could have killed him. Kenny's outbursts were because he lost almost everything, but becomes willing to sacrifice himself so that others live.

Hell, when you first meet her she even says that she works with animals and not humans. Kenny didn't know shit, he immediately asked if Larry was dead and then decided he had to go.
I'm not saying you're wrong about Larry being dead, so don't even bother restating your point, but I'm saying Kenny didn't know. He made an assumption out of irrational fear of the situation and stuck with that. Any medical knowledge Kenny had would've been about animals. When Lee cuts of Paul's leg or brings back shot Travis, Katjaa has no idea what to do but she does her best. Her words heavily imply that she had not once tended to anything other than surface level wounds. The only thing she says is "That man was never going to survive." She only started treating human wounds AFTER the apocalypse, not before.

It's pretty annoying I did everything right by Kenny but because I refused to help him kill Larry he turns into an arsehole. I mean nobody hates Larry more than me but there was no definitive proof that he had actually died, he had the same exact heart problems in the pharmacy and didn't turn then.
Well even then I would be happy not seeing Larry again.
Because they were able to get Nitroglycerin pills in time at the pharmacy store. Larry was just so angry at the St. John’s that he get so stressed out not realizing that he needs to calm down. Plus, they were stuck in a meat locker, and they didn’t have the pills. I don’t think CPR will be enough to save Larry because the moment he dies from a heart attack and goes walker on them, everyone dies.
Someone commented on a video by BabyZone that Larry wouldn't make it out of there, since they didn't have meds and CPR only delays the inevitable. Larry's mouth moving was a reflex, not him actually breathing or waking up. Kenny's actions were rash, but he did save everyone from a 6' 4" walker with muscle/fat to overpower everyone in the meat locker.
So in episode 3 if you don’t kill Larry he basically hates you?
You know, they could've placed saltlicks on Larry's arms and legs as straps and give him CPR 'til he comes back alive or as a Walker.

I just have to say that giving CPR alone is not enough to completely revive a dead person. That is a movie myth It just keeps the blood pumping. That's why I helped kill Larry. Kenny was actually correct in thinking that Larry couldn't be saved.

I don’t know if many people agree but I think most of the stuff Kenny talked about I agreed with, the Motel ended up dead and because we didn’t leave sooner the supplies were found and the bandits attacked, even when it came to Killing Larry, if their was a choice to try and convince Kenny to help resuscitate him I would’ve taken it but if Larry had turned he probably would’ve but someone before taking him down, it was to much of a risk to try. The only thing I really kinda disagreed was taking the station wagon, in the end it didn’t make much of a difference and I’d side with Clem over Kenny any day but it just felt wrong even though it was probably the right call as well. This is just my opinion but I think Kenny was right on a lot of things especially when it came to arguing with Lily who wasn’t usually right if at all.
Not just the motel died but almost everybody from the Motor Inn group died one by one shortly after leaving, leaving sooner could have helped a lot.

There was no way to save Larry in locker room since there is no pills or defibrillators to save him. Kenny did the right thing, otherwise Larry becomes a walker and eats everyone.
