- Today we're attempting something a little bit different... we're going to be trying to solve EVERY Level 10 (level 6 on the Hanayama difficulty scale) puzzle in one sitting.

Two weeks ago I never knew these puzzles existed. I am an old (British) soldier (Cold War Era) and I used to love taking apart a rifle or machine gun after firing, cleaning and oiling it and then reassembling. Just the feel of the clean and oiled pieces sliding back together was somehow pleasing. Anyway, I bought a Hanyama Cast Cylinder Puzzle on impulse thinking it would scratch that same itch. Well, it didn't because, for one thing, the puzzle pieces in the Cast Cylinder Puzzle are much looser. I couldn't work out the solution without help from the internet but now I want to try some others. I don't think I'll ever be much good at them but as the Cast Cylinder was rated 4 Stars/Hard, maybe I'll be able to solve some of the easier ones. Just discovered you video and channel and instantly subscribed. Looking forward immensely to watching more of your videos. Thank You.

I'd try a couple of different ones, the Cylinder is tough and it's also a blind solve, almost like cracking a safe. A few of the level 1's will probably be quite similar to the sliding back together feeling. The Loop, Diamond and Heart are all very satisfying.

When i was a kid i remember my uncle having puzzle 5 and 6 and he used to let me play with them. I used to think they were the coolest thing. I accidentally solved puzzle 5 and showed him super excited. He just put it back together and gave it back to me... Lol i think im going to get a couple. They are cool fidget toys :)

Another great video Ross!! I was thinking of asking you to complete all the hanayama puzzels in one sitting a couple weeks ago but I then remembered how many there are and how long that would take. So, seeing this video I found really coincidental haha. Loved the video.
I currently have the hour glass and the Infinity puzzel. What other level 10 hanayama would you recommend for me? 🤩

There's a place for all puzzles including 1, however if doing puzzles as a Magic secret, others which can be solved in hand & under secret cover work better.

Where do I get a level 10 Hanayama? I've only got level 6
These are all level 6/6 on the Hanayama scale. They're all level 10 on the Puzzle Master scale, level 10 sounds better for a video title :)
Im currently on hourglass ive done all he other vortex was the thoughest imo but hourglass is even worst lol

What is the best puzzle for a gift ? I want to offer a 5 or 6 but it will go to someone i don't know yet.
Enigma is probably my favourite level 5 or 6. It's very difficult but satisfying when you find moves
Enigma is the first hanayama i bought and it's great. I think i will buy radix, quartet or hourglass for a gift. I bought too the vortex and it's a nightmare, very hard.
Level 10 or level 6? All the Hanayama puzzles I've ever seen only go to level 6.
That's right. Level 10 refers to the Puzzle Master scale which is 5-10.
Easiest can be nice because one can implement a 2 minute time limit per try. IF still easy, implement behind the back solving.
Ok so am I the only one that feels like some of these puzzles got the wrong rating? Like the ufo puzzle should be on here because it’s one of the hardest puzzles I’ve EVER done! EVER! I STILL haven’t solved it WITH HELP VIDEOS!!!! The same with the hour glass puzzle. I’m half way through it but man! That’s one of the hardest puzzles on EARTH 🌏! I have puzzles like the Elk which they rated a 6 (USA rated hanayama puzzles, green window box edition) out of 6 but I solved it in an hour. Now as a black man in a middle class neighborhood, my stores that sell these puzzles (which are lower middle and middle class Walmart stores) don’t get new puzzles often so I get excited about a new puzzle. However when they say 6 out of 6 toughness for difficulty I have to balk at the rating now. Like not only that but they sometimes assemble the puzzles wrong (my chain or enigma Puzzle came assembled incorrectly thus it was unsolvable) and I have to wait to get a refund or exchange or I have to order a new puzzle as my only other option is Amazon or online ordering. I liked the labyrinth puzzle and I felt they could have given that a 6 instead of elk or enigma but alas... they didn’t. I guess it’s just a matter of perspective because I have solved 6 of the ten he’s got on this video and am waiting for the other puzzles to arrive along with some other puzzles as well. I’m VERY excited about the hero edition (based on Japanese super hero shows and comics like ultraman) hanayama puzzles and hopefully they will arrive soon. I love books and puzzles and things that challenge my mind and so I hate stuff that is way too simple and stuff that is just hard for the sake of being insanely hard (like the Japanese Mario brothers two game and the Japanese fighting games where you have to stick to one move and specific patterns that take like an hour to play to beat the game. Cmon man how is that fun? That’s just hard to be annoying not to pose an actual challenge.) because I see no point. Kinda like Kirk on Star Trek and that unbeatable mission simulation where you have to cheat to successfully win. What’s the point? Anyway, keep it up and please don’t stop puzzling my friend!
I agree, the UFO should also be a level 6.
I've seen the Elk was a 6 in another edition which is interesting... it's a 5 on mine which I think I can agree with, a 5 or a 4.

They do. I've been clickbaity and used the Puzzle Master difficulty scale. Their level 10= Hanayama level 6
