Some of these young people, and adults too, really lack common sense! And some definitely don't have very good ideas concerning their hair style decisions! 😆 🤣 It's sad, mostly, but also disturbing at times too. And I don't think that when you dislike some of them, that it's because of your age, it's just that they were really terrible ideas and most people would agree with you, including myself, lol! Love watching your reactions and the kind way you give advice. Take care 🙂 ❤

I started cutting my own hair at 15. At 16 my boyfriend asked me to cut his hair. When I was done he told me I'd given him the same hair cut I had. I gave him the same hair cut I had given all my friends, a mullet. We didn't call them mullets back then, just the haircut Lizzy gives.
I have a feeling you'd be a fun friend. Lizzy, business in the front, party in the back, she's even got a haircut for it 😁

I don't have any money to waste on my hair, but still not stupid to do my own hair...I will live with the grey.
I figured that now I'm old and greying, the LEAST I deserve is being pampered in the salon every couple of months!
It's money well spent, nobody would ask their milkman to perform brain surgery on them, but they're happy to have their 15yr old sister slather their hair in all kinds of chemicals, and then wonder why a disaster ensues! 🙈

My daughter had extremely long,thick, light, blond hair in middle school and wanted to go platinum. She researched for about a month and wanted to do it herself (with me actually doing it, lol) I was terrified. It took us 3 entire days, bleaching 2 out of six sections per day. I would finish putting bleach on one section only to have to rinse the other section because it took so long to saturate each section. The final color was highlighter yellow. The toner we got did not work, so off to the salon we went. The stylist said we did an amazing job bleaching her hair. It turned out beautiful. I will never do it again! I was so stressed!
So you did good work? But how did the hair stylist safed the color from yellow to platinum?

Honestly I could listen to this guy talk about anything all day.
I graduated cosmetology 1988, I've told my oldest daughter over and over "let me do it, this is what will happen, DON'T DO IT" she will never listen and always can't understand why this happened. 🤣😩 I then have to show her the photo I have of her beautiful hair 8 years ago. It was waist length. I just don't get kids these days haha.
My mother study to be hairstylist and I ignored what she said. It’s only because we want to experiment even if it’s could be really bad. The worst is we are sure that it will be great but it’s always a disaster at the end 😭

I can’t do Tic Toc. It’s so annoying!My granddaughter made a tic toc through my Facebook. She has tic Toc accounts on various family members names. I make her wear headphones. I can’t listen to the same loop ten times.😭
@@colleenmoylan4214 my son has been on tiktok since it was music.ly I've been listening to 15 second clips of songs since 2015. I'm not sure anymore if it's him on tiktok or the sounds have burrowed into my brain lol It's maddening. If he's watching them he has to wear headphones now but if he's making one I just let him go.

😳😳😳 ive been bleaching my hair for a while now, i still don't know how people manage to damage their hair so bad it breaks. I'm hugging my hairstylist for teaching me the right way
My hair has been every color of the rainbow. I decided to stop dying it a few years ago. My hair has some breakage now, but other than that I'm happy how healthy it looks compared to what it used to look like 😬

Ok ripping out a chunk of hair and then having bleach near that same spot is okay🙄😬😳....& you will put that on your scalp that you just damaged by pulling out the hair, but won't put bleach on the spot?!?! She's also damaging her follicles. If she keeps doing that the hair will eventually won't grow back. She should use scissors next time

When I was in beauty school I had to cut a mullet. I was traumatized LOL. Me and my schoolmates would actually take pictures of people with mullets and send it to each other. I should mention that I live in North East Tennessee and for those who don’t live in the US that’s in the south where we have lots of mullets LOL.
One thing i havent heard you talk about is the problem with using metalic colors then trying to use non-metalic color. I was taught the metals in color can adversly react with other standard color.

This reminds me of a coworker I had. She told me about her daughter, who had long, healthy, curly hair, waking her up in the middle of the night freaking out because she messed up trying to cut her hair short.

In the early 70's the mullet was known as a feather cut, it was fabulous on girls with very straight hair....... unfortunately not so good on curly/wavy hair 🙄

To get hot pink my hair was bleached WHITE (this was professionally done) but to a magenta/fuschia colour I did it over an orange/yellow colour and it turned out nice (that one was done at home)

I feel you. I am not so patient either. After a while I get irritated with the “I don’t know what I’m doing I don’t know what I’m doing I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m just going to throw a bunch of chemicals on my hair even though I’m not sure what they do.
And then the full on crying oh my god look what I did it looks so awful crying crying.
And I’m thinking, “Holy crap, what did you THINK was going to happen?! Stop whining for attention, style your hair, and live with it.”
