The wet balayage was beautiful after the cut. The green on her bangs made the ash brown look a little off but the rest of the color was fantastic!

I think the "after", the grey is SO MUCH BETTER than the big bird yellow she started with. I think it looks so much nicer with her eyes and skin tone.

So glad I have curly hair, you can hack on it pretty good and no one can see if it is uneven. Cause it shrinks up and curls at different rates in different places.

I 100% agree as well that the end color and the look of 'This Is Jess Paul' fits her so well. She looked stunning.
I think the platinum girl going to brunette ombre achieved what is called in Sweden "råttfärgat" or rat-colored, which is the most common natural hair color there.

As for the curtain bangs on the other girl, I was wondering… could you create some kind of template for people to use to cut their own bangs? So many people are cutting their own hair because of Covid and don’t know what they’re doing. I realize people have different sized heads and face shapes, but there might be a way to compensate for that? 🤷🏻♀️

The balayage was amazing. She's lacking complete confidence because its so new. Change is scary but so satisfying when you see how good it looks and the compliments you get for such a good job.
15:04 she used Joico Color Butter, it’s actually a conditioning DYE, it’s what I use to maintain my purple and pink balayage between visits to my hairdresser 💇🏻♀️. I cringed the second she showed this product and described its function incorrectly.

LMAO, girl thought the bleach would just spread to the brown spots if she left the bag on longer. That was funny! I think the second girl with the balayage made some fabulous lemonade with the lemon results she got, and I hope she warmed up to that smokey rocker girl style. It does suit her well!

I cut my own bangs and it took me a while to get it right, I usually have short bangs. Right now I'm painfully growing out a pixie cut.
PLEASE always cut them too long. It takes a lot of little cuts to make it all straight. If you cut them to the length you want them to be in the end you will end up with bangs that are way too short.

Ohmygosh! Go to the salon and get a buzz cut. Just a tiny bit longer than a dudes. Go home and dye it lavender. Then it will grow out in a manageable way
The balayage girl before styling looks like me in the late 80´s or early 90´s. That is not a compliment;-) But she rocks it!

You can absolutely put pink over a yellow canvas. Hot pink goes great on top of yellow. If you want pastel pink then yes, you need a near white canvas.

Great video as always. I would love to have some pink flashes in my hair but not going to attempt that myself as it will have a build up of black on it and likely take some lifting and time to do safely. I rarely get to have my hair done but would really enjoy some pink flashes. X

It depends on what tone of pink you're going for, I've use pink PR many times over hair that was nowhere near lifted to pale yellow/white and it took amazing and faded nicely but that's also their cupid which is hot pink, definitely need a level 10 for pales though
