My only issue with what Mo said about the Hawks is saying the current roster is perfectly constructed to Trae. I just don't agree with that at all. His co-star is a SG that teams do not respect as a shooting threat, although he has shot pretty well to start this season. The entire starting lineup has no shooting threats outside of Trae, so teams willingly leave everyone else open. There's a reason why Trae generally plays better with the bench guys, since they actually provide some spacing (Bogi, Bey, OO).
As it stands at the time of this comment, Trae somehow is the third-fourth best defender on the team behind Jalen and Onyeka, and maybe Hunter. Props to Trae for improving on defense, but him being one of the best defenders on the team is an indictment on how bad the defensive personnel is.

So as a Raptors fan I definitely skipped to the Raptors part and I think everything said was fax (except Scottie Slander, raptors have horrid spacing making him way worse).
Masai needs to blow this team up because we have negative spacing. Elite perimeter defense but negative rim defense gives us a giant black hole which tanks out defense lower than it should be.

Plus, part of the reason why his stats have gone down is that his possession per game have also gone down a fair bit (I believe Schroder is taking a lot more now) so he just has less to do.

Klay is Klay, can't really blame him, he suffered back to back career ending injuries. The issue is his shot selection. He can still effective if he just slows down. If anyone needs to be traded its Draymond. His antics were tolerated when he contributed to winning. He's not the same defender and a inconsistent scorer but his antics are just as bad if not worse. Yall are gonna get regret the cade thing. Not the pistons thing, but the cade thing. He is an elite passer and he is an elite shooter. 34% isn't everything. He has to take almost every fourth quarter shot, and he's letting it take his efficiency down because he wants to win. He needs to improve defensively and at the rim, but watch a game and you can see he's blitzed on every dribble. There's no way to succeed with a team this shit.

But they did pay for the championship per se.
From the championship core, only paskal, og and Boucher are left, and and og and Boucher weren’t getting that many mins.
I think raptors should try and trade paskal for maybe a young point guard, and then aim to be play in, lower playoff seed this year. And next year with progression in both the young player and and Scottie, add some pieces around that and aim to be a higher (4-5) play off seed. And aim to be contenders after that.
Saying that, paskal won us a championship and has been the best player on the team after that, as a raptors fan he is also the last little bit left of championship core, and it breaks my heart to see him go and part of me wants a role player haul to go from toronto for a point guard star.
