These guys are underrating size. Joel embiid and giannis are not losing very much here unless someone gets hot. They have good enough defense on the perimeter to stop people and once they get the ball it’s just bbq chicken.
Lebron is one of only people stop Embiid but I feel like embiid Giannis kyrie and I give Lebron or jokic top 4 for 1v1

@@kashootme2083 i just think its more likely that curry can manage out a single steal from jokic then jokic can stop curry. Curry can run circles around jokic and potentially steal the ball a single time. Jokic can just back down curry non stop. End of the day its gonna be who starts with the ball. The only way any of them are losing the ball is if curry can get a steal or if he decides to take a shot and misses.
Don should've mentioned that curry was the steals leader atleast once in his career too. Him stealing the ball from jokic then running laps around him til he eventually wins isn't an absurd idea.
@@ashen0306I prefer Curry here, I think they seriously overrate the value of a post game in 1v1, but he gets steals by having good intuition on the passing lanes. He’s not just gonna wrestle the ball away while Jokic is mid-dribble

I feel like embiid primarily is a lane driver and a foul getter I mean you look at the stats he legit averages more fouls than PRIME HARDEN, and I feel like Lebron just has that old head every trick in the book on how to get a bucket and Lebron strong as shit to do he’s not just gonna get babied but I feel like it’s a 50/50 on this depends of who gets ball first.

KD vs Giannis is the toughest match-up in the entire bracket. Literally the epitome of skill vs athleticism. Both tall forwards that benefit from size without sacrificing their speed and handles. Most effective scoring bag vs. Most physically dominant. Idk how that match-up got brushed off so easily as it did 😂

Y’all reasoning needs to be consistent. Y’all think Giannas has a chance against KD due to his “athleticism” but when it was AD vs. Luka y’all disregarded AD. Zion made it far just by his sheer athleticism. AD is just as athletic as Zion & Giannas and has more skills than both. I’m just saying be consistent that’s all. When it comes to 1v1 mentality, skillset, and IQ does play a role too.

Giannis is a not a great isolation defender. He’s solid, but he’s not great at it, but if Giannis doesn’t get baited into taking outside shot, he’s bullying KD. No one is getting cooked, and it’s a lot more back and forth than you’d think. I might take KD just cause I don’t trust Giannis’s b ball IQ to not take a back outside shot.
You guys should try this by position so size doesn’t matter
