He seemed like a really nice and well mannered guy
The notation that Robert Wadlow was known for his kindness and compassion is very true. My mother (1926 - 2019) grew up a couple of blocks away from the Wadlow's in Alton Illinois and she told me that he never failed to say something nice to Mom. People in Alton did not treat Robert Wadlow as a freak or a curiousity but as the kind gentleman he was who struggled as best he could with his situation.

CelebHeights is considered to be one of the most reliable sites in estimating the barefoot heights of celebrities. Those 6'6" claims were clearly either exaggerated or with shoes on. According to Rob Paul, the author of CelebHeights, Michael Jordan is just a hair under 6'5" barefoot.
@@OwenOgletree I’m a longtime NBA fan I should probably know the height of the most famous NBA player of all time should I not 😂 I met the man in real life and seen multiple sources claiming he’s 6’6” If you do some basic math and calculate his jump vertical height of 48 inches and compare it to the height of the rim (10 ft) when he jumps, you see his head slightly above the rim which is accurate to a man of 6’6” height. Don’t believe everything you see, use your own logical analysis.
