This is the best video with the most info that I've found. I plan on doing almost the same thing in my gym. Thanks a ton you guys, keep up the good work.
Love to see the plans for tower pullup system. We need a free-standing structure. Thank you!
Good job, well done guys! Thanks
thanks for sharing mike...
1:34 I made my parallel bars with these as well. Cool clamps.
Did you ever get to posting this project online? Complete instructions?
It's in the video description
I know the bars are 1 inch thick black iron pipe. As far as the fittings are concerns, check out your local hardware store under pipe fittings. They should have the elbows and flanges you see in the video. Hope this helps.
excellent viddy BTW-- thanks!
Hey thanks for posting the video, I was wondering what the bars and connectors are called that you used because I would like to make something using what you used for a long dip station like parallel bar.
thanks
Are the fittings that secure the pipes running vertically from the ceiling threaded or do they use a set screw as well? I want to build something similar but just imagine the set screw slipping and not being as secure as threads.
Thanks
Can you put a link of the dimensions
Building something similar out of scaffold and bolting it to the ground.
Where exactly on your website do you have the plans?
Do you have a list of the supplies used?
this is probably a dumb question but regarding the pipes that are leading from the fittings bolted to the ceiling, are the allen screws going directly into the pipe? or just tightening down to the outer edge?
Is this 3/4" black pipe, measuring 1" externally or 1" black pipe, which measures 1.25" externally?
Love it. Thank you. Wanting to. Hold an inside jungle gym for my kid
Are they galvanized? Are they still holding up well?
what are the names of those fittings?
What are the galvanized brackets called? Maybe an item #?? The web site is huge and it's impossible to find the product mentioned.. Thanks!!!

I travel a lot. Its safer for me to do calistenics type exercises. do you know how to build a lightweight, portable pullup bar system?
lily chalmers get gymnastic rings
waiting for screws to strip out of the 2x4's lol
but seriously nice job

No it is not, it has a join in it, probably two joins.
Metal pipe.
Hey Mike
Thanks for posting this video.
I just built my son some indoor monkey bars based on your design and its working out great.
If you click on my username you can see 3 video clips of it.
Where is the video to the tower he was showing at the end!?
the key to success is to train in a pleasant environment. this one looks like public toilet
Can you stand still for a minute! The video sways continually like you are on a boat in a storm.
*sigh* another person who smacks there lips every 5 minuets
thanks
