    So on the FAQ on your website it mentions "The distance from the upper edge of the wall plate should be at least 45cm to the ceiling". My ceiling is 263cm and i am 193cm. I don't know the length of the plate but i hope you see this stuff totally makes no sense for longer people as there is only 25cm left for the plate size, i assume the plate is longer than 25cm.

    • @PullupDip
      @PullupDip  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi there, with a ciling that is 263cm high this is no problem at all, it just means that you can't hang on the bar with your legs straightened out, which is no problem at all. A few people have a ceiling that is 4m high, we are aware of that :-) but it's still easily possible to work out with our bar indoor

    • @PullupDip

      Hi, if you have a very massive concrete wall we recommend to drill with 11mm in the end instead of 10mm (normally) so the dowel has more space to spread.

    What is the optimal height of positioning the mounting plate to be able to do both dips and pulls? I'm guessing that in order to have both I would need to have legs bent in knees during pulls?

    • @PullupDip
      @PullupDip  Před 5 lety +3

      Hi Milosz, it depends on your body height but we recommend to install it on a height that you can fully hang from the bar without having to bent your knees. If it is then too high to do dips you can simply jump up a bit into the dip bars :)

    What is the optimal height for a body height of 180cm

    • @PullupDip
      @PullupDip  Před 11 měsíci +1

      We recommend mounting the Pullup & Dip bar as high as possible so that you can fully hang during pull-ups. The distance from the top edge of the wall plate should be at least 45 cm to the ceiling, so that you do not hit your head against the ceiling during pull-ups. The delivery also includes a drilling template with which you can simulate the final height. Alternatively, you can also hold the pull-up bar against the wall before mounting to determine the optimal mounting height.
      Any further questions, let us know.🙂

      Its definitely not sturdy enough against dry wall. The instructions recommended a piece of plywood in between the mount and the wall. I got a half inch piece of plywood and mounted that to the studs. Then i mounted the mount onto the plywood! Works well for me, even a big boy at 200 lbs.

    Das kann mich nicht überzeugen, bin sehr skeptisch im Bezug auf die Halterung, der Klimmzugstange. Die drei Haltenoppen würden bestimmt über die Zeit mehr Spiel in der Platte erzeugen. Beim Pull Up sehe ich leichte Bewegungen der Stange.

      Heyhey, da brauchst du dir keine Sorgen machen, die Stange hält, es kommt über die Zeit kein Spiel dazu, sie wird sich über die Zeit also nicht lockern. Die Stange muss sich ein wenig mitbewegen, das ist ganz normal. Die Stange wird auch in den Arm eingehangen und kann problemlos ausgehangen werden, sie ist nicht fest am Arm fixiert, weshalb sie sich auch minimal mitbewegt.
