There are 21 total bosses that spawn exclusively at night. Today we are going to beat elden ring only using the rewards from these bosses and see how it goes. Spoiler alert, it turns out that all of the night only bosses are difficult! - Hry
Whoever made the Deathrite Birds' Ghostflame staggerlock you is a monster. A lingering AoE that staggers you, deals damage, AND builds frostbite.
You could leave it at whoever made the deathrite bird is a monster lol
Deathrite birds are my least favorite thing to fight. I'd rather fight the foreskin duo with bare fists only.

24:48 just to explain : if you use poison moth after a poison proc, the poison will be removed but the enemy will "bleed poison", if you time it right you can get 99% of the poison duration damage + the poison bleed damage
I see, I forgot about the Bell Bearing Hunters. And I didn't know that the first weapon you got could be gained by cheesing the enemy.
Yeah I knew you could cheese that one but there were also so many people on Reddit and CZcams that still claim the one in Liurnia can still be cheesed but I swear It’s patched. Curious to see if anyone has been able to do it recently and comments on the video

Hey Bryce, love your content man, let me ask you: why did not you use the kite shield like a passive bonus while using other weapons? It would makke you heavier, but would work just like the talismans and like the turtle shield strat. Keep up the amazing work, I am excited to see the channel grow😁

@allrebel5943 It's likely they're not. The axe from Limgrave and I think the kiteshield from Altus both depict Deathbirds that look nothing like the ones we see. Plus, the ones in game look like deformed chicks.

I find a lot of fun using the secondary effects of AoW in ER, the Death's Poker iirc, if you do a charge attack after getting the ball of ghostflame, it'll slam it into the ground to do a decently wide explosion

Yeah I am planning on no-lifing that week and just playing elden ring the whole week lol still got your sleep damage idea on reserve for the DLC. Might be cool to do it with the current weapons in the game. Haven’t done much research on it yet

Iv been fighting a lot of them birds lately myself, I found using free camera mode and hugging against their lower body most attacks just whiff over you while you attack

kinda surprised you never stacked the twinbird shield (or have it on your back the entire time) along with the branchsword talismans while you were using other weapons; fairly certain they stack....so it probably would've helped in some cases.

Honestly, if you get a spell or an ash that's part of a challenge run without any means of using it, then it should be perfectly fine to use basic caster tools or a regular sword for that purpose.
I agree. I think it provides more value to the run than just skipping it altogether

Ancient Death Rancor is actually really good but like all the int/fth stuff it takes quite some time to start being more effective. Add on the fact that it’s a multi bullet spell. So it’s really good at higher levels but sucks earlier on.
Yeah using an un upgraded meteorite staff with the bare minimum requirements for the spell and no buffs or talismans for it probably isn’t a fair chance lol
@@bryceinator13 yeah but honestly generally for a challenge run like this it really limits how much you can out of stuff anyway without basically ruining the challenge part.
Still I do suggest playing around with the death spells more if you ever have the chance. They’re pretty fun once they’re set up properly though you’ll probably need to be around level 200 to optimize unless you sacrifice stats like Vigor, endurance, etc
idea: only items from graveyards and abandoned places like ruins, and you can still use estus and torrent :)
Btw, the sacrificial axe can be infused and is dropped by a deathbird in the weeping peninsula

Try a venomous vampire build: 2 heavy greatstar hammers one with war cry and the other with horah loux earthshake, dragon communion seal, snake shield, eczykes decay, silver tear mask, raptor feathers, brair gloves and boots, erdtrees favor +3 i think, old lords talisman, godskin swaddling cloth, ritual sword talisman, physik flask: spiked and thorny cracked tears, mimic tear, and mimic needs horah louxs earthshake in main hand to fight melania
You could have used the Repeating Thrust on the Nightrider Glaive

the poison moth flight is a bit particular, but according to the wiki the damage done by using the ash of war on a poisoned enemy doesn't depend on the duration left for the poison, meaning you could technically wait for the last tic of poison and use it but yeah it's not that great
If you rewatch my morgot kill on the second to last hit he was ticking down with poison and I tried to do that but It only did the amount of damage the poison had remaining. Im 98% sure it works like that but could still be wrong haven’t tested it enough. That was my first time ever using the ashes of war.
@@bryceinator13The way that moth flight works is that it deals all the damage from a poison proc at once. So the bigger the poison proc, the more damage it deals which means of you’re rocking a poison build or a general arcane build, it can be amazing, but if you’re rocking arcane why not go bleed or madness though?
